This is an exciting opportunity to join Single Homeless Project (SHP) in a brand new Caseworker role at the forefront of an innovative Westminster pilot service. The HMO scheme is designed to support under 35s who have experienced rough sleeping and are ready to take the next step towards independence. As a Caseworker, you will play a key part in shaping this exciting new service, working directly with clients to secure safe accommodation, build stability and open up new opportunities for the future. From assessing suitability for the HMO service and arranging property viewings, to supporting sign-ups with landlords, you will be central to each client’s journey into their new home.
Every day will bring variety and the chance to make a tangible difference. You will guide clients through maximising their income via Housing Benefit and Universal Credit, help them register with GPs and health services, and create pathways into college and employment. Alongside this, you’ll work with individuals to develop budgeting skills, explore savings and build the confidence needed to successfully move on after their twelve-month tenancy. Your work will not just provide housing but help create the tools, resilience and opportunities that can transform lives.

About the role
This role is responsible for leading the relationship fundraising programme in the north, midlands and Scotland. You’ll help to develop and implement strategies to engage new audiences and foster high lifetime value relationships, as well as surprise and delight loyal supporters.
Uniquely, you’ll help to implement a large-scale pilot to enhance the charity’s presence in key local areas to grow long term sustainable income. New roles in your team will develop portfolios of supporters as well as further grow Tickled Pink, an award-winning partnership between Asda, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! which has raised over £100m, by directly supporting colleagues across Asda stores.
You’ll manage a team of 9 including 3 line reports. You’ll inspire, motivate and coach them to excel in their roles, to help continue the growth that the relationship fundraising team has seen over the last five years. This role is also responsible for the community fundraising operations team, which manage mass market DIY fundraising and deliver key projects.

What you’ll do
As the Training Conferences and Events Officer, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality online, in-person, and hybrid training events for mental health professionals.
You will manage all aspects of event logistics, including scheduling, bookings, budgets, payments, and trainer travel, while keeping accurate records and reporting data to support ongoing improvement. A key part of the role is providing excellent customer service, responding to enquiries, and building strong relationships with trainers, supervisors, and commissioners.
The Training Conferences and Events Officer will also work closely with the wider team, offering support and cover where needed to ensure every event runs smoothly, from planning through to delivery and evaluation.
What you’ll bring
The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and proactive individual with experience coordinating training or events, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service to a wide range of stakeholders.
•Event coordination experience: You will have a proven background in organising and delivering online or in-person training, conferences, or events.

Hours: Full-time: usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 – flexibility to support training, conferences and events outside of these hours required

What the role involves
1. Ensuring that there are regular training opportunities for both new starters and those requiring refresher sessions or updates when new functions or forms are released. This will include running system training drop in sessions to assist with queries / hear feedback, and relaying information from these to the Information Governance and IT manager.
2. To support managing the case recording system help desk – so that support is always ava
ilable to front line workers and other stakeholders.
3. Working with the Learning and Development Coordinator to establish an evaluation method and implement this to enable us to assess the effectiveness of each training session and using this to improve future delivery.
4. Produce effective training materials and guidance documents, and develop and maintain a training area on our case recording system, including the creation of dummy forms and files for new users to access and use as a training sandbox
5. Performing case recording system changes to forms and lists as directed by the Information Governance and IT Lead
6. Support the Data Reporting and System Support Lead with regards to user administration and user support at times of absence and increased need
7. Working with the Learning and Development Coordinator to support the creation of e-learning training modules for our LMS (currently RISE) Acting at all times in line with safeguarding legislation and guidance in addition to Safer London’s practice guidelines and wider pan-London processes and protocols.
8. Undertaking any other duties as required and commensurate with the level of this post, including covering the Data Reporting and CRS support lead post functions when relevant.

About the role
The Grants Officer will join our small, hardworking, friendly team and will be responsible for overseeing the monthly grants programme. They will support the Director in collating the board papers for each of the three annual Trustees’ meetings. They will also be expected to help assess the large and medium grant applications that go through to the Trustees’ meetings. The new Grants Officer will be asked to visit charities and projects, which will entail travel across England and Wales. The new Grants Officer will also maintain the grants database, be responsible for updating the new website and be the first port of call for any grant application enquiries.
About you
This role would suit a range of candidates and we are open to candidates without direct grant making experience but the successful candidate will need a demonstrable understanding and knowledge of the grants world. We are particularly keen to hear from people who have energy, enthusiasm, good communication and relationship building skills and experience and confidence with databases. An understanding of how to read charity accounts would be a bonus but training will be provided for the chosen candidate. You will have an aptitude for working both independently and as part of a collaborative team and managing a varied and busy workload.

This will involve engagement with relevant DEFRA teams, as well as other NGOs
