Job Title: Known internally as "Key Work Manager (Maternity Cover)"

About the Role

As Key Work Manager you will lead on and oversee all Key Work activity at Carney’s Community. This includes undertaking key work yourself on a one to one basis with young people involved in the criminal justice system as well as managing a small team of key workers.

You will provide advice, practical support and befriending to a caseload of participants, aged 11-30, who are at risk of/involved in offending; to encourage and enable them to participate in Carney’s Community’s personal development opportunities and to access the wider services and support they may need in order to give them the best chances of being “the best they can be”. This will involve supporting young people to engage in positive and constructive activities, attend Youth Justice Service or Probation appointments and creating opportunities for their personal, social and emotional development

You will work alongside the employment support manager to plan and deliver the employment group, supporting participants that attend this group and leading specific employment programmes. As manager of the key work project you will oversee the small team of key workers, provide support, guidance and supervision. You will be involved in monitoring and reporting for the project, collecting feedback from participants. You will manage referrals to the project from other organisations including schools, social services, probation and the youth justice service.

About You:

You must have proven experience of working directly with young people in a youth work or key work setting, providing one to one support. You will have the ability to empathise and mediate for young people, a strong understanding of the local area, barriers facing young people, the interplay between material disadvantage, vulnerability and social exclusion and be highly skilled in diplomacy, professional distance, demonstrating empathy, boundaries and sound judgement. You will have experience managing other staff or volunteers.

We support young people living in and around Wandsworth, targeting ages 11-30 facing extreme challenges including criminal justice system involvement or care experience. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take operational ownership of IT infrastructure and MSP relationship management, facilities, fleet, and contracts across our organisation. This is a wide-ranging role where your work directly underpins our frontline teams’ ability to deliver life-changing support to families with seriously ill children.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will have input into how Rainbow Trust manages its IT, property and facilities, and fleet - while also leading on the day-to-day operational infrastructure across the organisation, including overall responsibility for our IT infrastructure and security. The role holder will act as the primary internal point of contact for our Managed Service Provider, overseeing service delivery, SLAs, and ensuring our IT infrastructure remains secure, compliant and fit for purpose

Managing the office facilities, leases, and contracts across our head office and nine regional sites, you will lead on contract negotiation and supplier management, managing a central administration budget and project manage office moves and operational projects.

With a focus on improving the efficiency of our systems, processes and ways of working, you will also line manage our Fleet Administrator, overseeing our fleet of 80 leased vehicles and be an integral part of decision making.

This is a substantive management role with real ownership, and meaningful variety - ideal for an experienced operations professional with a sound understanding of Microsoft Administration and cyber security ready to take on a broad remit in a values-driven organisation.

What we’re looking for:

A qualification in cyber security or IT and experience of Microsoft administration, cyber security and MSP management is also necessary for this role.

About the Role

The Head of Operations will oversee the day-to-day running of the global operations of Reprieve UK, Reprieve US, and our work around the globe. They will have broad responsibility for HR operations, office and facilities management, IT and systems, compliance, data protection, security risk management and operational support across Reprieve’s international operations

This role is critical to supporting a high performing group of staff, fellows, consultants, and partner organisations working together to provide the highest possible standard of service to Reprieve clients, their families and communities. The successful postholder will be committed to Reprieve’s mission of ending the use of the death penalty and extreme human rights abuses carried out in the name of “national security”, as well as to building and maintaining happy and healthy teams.

The successful postholder will support the Senior Management Team (who hold delegated responsibility) to ensure the smooth running of the organisation, including maintaining compliance with key statutory and regulatory requirements at all times. The Head of Operations will have a central role in ensuring that good practice, wellbeing, and compliance work hand in hand with one another, and is embedded within the ethos of the organisation for the benefit of our clients and Reprieve’s mission.

The Head of Operations will supervise the work of the Operations Team and will report to a member of the Senior Management Team.

Terms

This is a full-time position on a permanent contract. The annual salary is £61,003 full-time per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency and when required as part of the security risk management framework (for example to monitor extreme risk trips). The Role:

The Movement Building Manager is central to KT’s mission, helping drive the legal, policy, and social change needed to advance LGBTI+ rights by strengthening partners’ capacity, supporting their advocacy, and building long-term movement impact.

The role oversees KT’s major grant-funded programmes from start to finish. Through direct delivery and coordination across KT, they ensure that each grant meets its objectives, is delivered on time and within budget, is compliant with regulations and requirements, including reporting, is risk-managed, and contributes to KT’s wider movement-building strategy.

This role is an opportunity to support LGBTI+ organisations at a critical moment globally, providing the longer-term funding, partnership, and capacity support needed to drive legal, policy, and social change in their own contexts.

The Movement Building Manager will be the lead responsible for the delivery, donor compliance, and accountability of part of our programmatic work. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering key parts of the grants directly (such as grant-making and capacity strengthening support), build connections and relationships with grantee partners, and will support coordinated delivery across KT by bringing together colleagues and functions to meet programme objectives and donor requirements.

Contract type: Fixed-term maternity cover (up to 12 months). The successful candidate will be employed until the substantive postholder returns from maternity leave. While the expected duration is up to 12 months, the contract may end earlier if the postholder returns sooner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the delivery of a major governmental/institutional grant to agreed standards and timelines, including capacity strengthening and grant-making and coordination of grant-linked workplans, outputs, and timelines across the organisation.

• Ensuring and coordinating full compliance with donor requirements, including narrative and financial reporting, safeguarding, due diligence, monitoring, and financial accountability, and supporting other teams to meet the same.

• Managing partner relationships and supporting organisations through long-term accompaniment, capacity strengthening, and strategic movement support.

Person Specification:

Essential

• Experience managing grant-funded programmes in the Global South and East, including delivery, compliance, safeguarding, and reporting.

• Leadership & strategy – working with the Trustees to deliver the charity’s strategic and operational plans, monitor outcomes and identify opportunities to improve and develop services.
• People & volunteers – leading and supporting employees and volunteers, including recruitment, induction, development, performance and wellbeing.
• Centre operations management – overseeing the day-to-day running of the Centre, budgets, resources, premises, donations, food supplies, health and safety, safeguarding and compliance.
• Partnerships & community engagement – building strong relationships with local authorities, housing, health and social care services, charities and community organisations, while representing Routes to Roots at networking events and community activities.
• Fundraising & sustainability – supporting the Trustees with fundraising, identifying grant opportunities and contributing to the financial sustainability and future development of the charity.
• Governance & reporting – providing Trustees with clear information on performance, finances, risks, incidents and strategic progress, and ensuring policies and procedures are effective and up to date.

You will be a visible and approachable presence within the Centre and the wider community, helping to raise the profile and reputation of Routes to Roots and strengthen our network of partners and supporters.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience of managing people and/or volunteers and overseeing a service, programme or project, including budgets and resources.

You will also have experience of working with people experiencing homelessness or vulnerability and be confident building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

The role requires a degree of flexibility to meet the needs of the charity. The Centre Manager will be an occasional point of contact if an urgent or unexpected issue arises at the weekend. This is not regular weekend working and is expected to occur approximately 2–3 times per year.

The Centre Manager will also attend Board Meetings every other month and the Annual General Meeting, which may occasionally take place outside normal working hours, usually in the early evening.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead impactful projects that support and strengthen volunteer networks across the MND Association. Working within the Programme Management Office, you will drive organisational change, improve volunteering processes and structures, and help maximise support for people affected by MND.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver priority projects from initiation through to implementation and handover.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance documentation and status reports.
• Manage project scope, risks, budgets, timelines and dependencies.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and with external suppliers.
• Map and review volunteering processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support change management activity, including engagement, training and adoption monitoring.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops and decision-making forums.
• Monitor project milestones and provide regular progress updates.
• Develop communication plans to support successful project delivery and implementation

About You

Essential

• Experience delivering complex change projects across multiple teams or locations.
• Experience working with volunteers or volunteering-focused projects.
• Proven Project Manager experience using recognised project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience leading project teams and delivering successful outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with third-party suppliers.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team objectives

Desirable

• A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM PMQ or equivalent.
• Experience implementing volunteering processes.
• Experience within a charity or public sector environment.
• Experience of co-design approaches and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Knowledge of change management frameworks such as ADKAR, Kotter or similar.
