About us: Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and ‘rehearse’ for real-life scenarios. About the role: We have been appointed as the secretariat of an Expert Reference Group (ERG) comprising a network of organisations in the London-wide violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector. The ERG supports the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) with its delivery of the Mayor’s VAWG strategy.

As the secretariat for the ERG, we will ensure that the VAWG sector is fully involved in MOPAC’s VAWG-related work. We will convene regular meetings and other opportunities for ERG members to raise, discuss and escalate to MOPAC relevant issues affecting the VAWG sector, ensure the needs of victim-survivors of VAWG are represented, and bring together the shared expertise and knowledge of the VAWG sector to provide expert insight to MOPAC’s VAWG-related work.  

We are looking for a partner network coordinator to coordinate the operations of the ERG; support the partner network manager in liaising with MOPAC, the VAWG Board, and other key stakeholders; and ensure that the needs of both the VAWG sector and MOPAC are appropriately managed and represented through the ERG. The coordinator will work closely with the partner network manager, who will have overall responsibility for the operations of the ERG.

Key responsibilities: The main responsibilities of this role are:

• Coordinating and delivering all the activities of the ERG, ensuring timely and accurate communication of information between members
• Supporting the manager to strengthen relationships with all relevant stakeholders, in particular within MOPAC and organisations in the VAWG sector
• Supporting the manager with the recruitment of ERG members and ensuing all members are fully engaged and supported in the their roles in the ERG

• Evaluate and provide critical analysis of fundraising and prospecting activity to deliver actionable insight, process innovation and project management
• Create project management plans for funding our ambitions and critical pieces of philanthropy and partnerships operational work

• Actively engage with the wider philanthropy and partnerships team, other directorates and external audiences to maximise opportunities for collaboration and growth.

Job Role: Service Manager – Day Centre & Activities Hub

A Rocha UK is a unique Christian nature conservation charity that mobilises Christians and churches to care for the natural world. We equip and inspire Christians to enjoy, nurture, and defend nature; and we run the Eco Church and related eco denominational schemes, such as Eco Dioceses. Our Conservation work is a core component of the project portfolio at A Rocha UK. We manage our own nature reserve at Foxearth Meadows in Essex and manage the Partners in Action programme, which consists of a network of over 60 organisations and sites managing over 20,000 acres of land for nature. Currently we are working on a trial scheme to assess climate resilient tree planting techniques at four locations around the UK.

Purpose of role:

This role will make a significant contribution to the efficient running of the Conservation Department by supporting the Head of Conservation in their leadership of the programme and the wider Conservation team in the smooth running of the Partners in Action programme. This year A Rocha UK will be undertaking a strategic review of our conservation work and the Conservation Team Administrator will play a role in supporting the admin function behind the review process. Purpose of Role

The Portfolio Manager will play a key role in the success of the team responsible for Comic Relief’s funding programme focused on tackling the effects of poverty. This role is focused on forced migration (in a team that also works in areas such as food insecurity, homelessness in the UK, and maternal and child health internationally),

The Portfolio Manager will hold direct responsibility for new Comic Relief grant making and ongoing grant management both in the UK and internationally, ensuring excellent grant making practice.

The Portfolio Manager will collaborate with other teams in the funding department and across the wider organisation to support Comic Relief’s overall objectives, including income generation.

Key responsibilities:

Grant making and ongoing grant management

· Manage new grant making, including working with colleagues to design funding opportunities, assessing funded partners, designing appropriate ongoing support mechanisms, and working with learning colleagues in the Funding Team on appropriate data collection

· Manage assigned funding portfolios and relationships with funded partners, ensuring that the portfolio is managed in a timely and responsive way, using Comic Relief’s (CR’s) systems and processes.

· Coordinate with other colleagues across the different teams in the funding department to ensure effective and efficient ways of working, and fruitful collaboration and learning across different funded issues and areas.

· Manage all ongoing requirements, such as narrative, financial and risk reporting, collaborating across the funding team and wider Comic Relief as appropriate.

· Work with the Assurance and Finance teams to ensure ongoing compliance across the portfolio with legal requirements, our grant conditions, reporting requirements and best practice.

· Collaborate with Partnerships colleagues to manage donor reporting and other information needs for external and internal use, such as information about our funded work and our partners.

Cross organisation and sector collaboration

· Support resource mobilisation partnerships through collaborative and supportive working with Comic Relief’s communications, fundraising and partnership teams.

· Work with the Partnerships Team to support strong relationships with existing and potential co-funding partners, including corporates and/or trusts, foundations and institutions, and support proposal development, reporting and other requirements.

· Work collaboratively across CR to support storytelling around CR’s impact.

· Develop a good understanding of areas of social change within assigned funding portfolios and areas of new grant making to be able to represent Comic Relief’s funding and priorities to internal and external stakeholders

· Contribute to internal communications regarding the work of the team and the wider Funding Team.

· Represent Comic Relief to strategic partners and co-funders, in relevant networks, and at external events.

The Voices for Health Equity Project Officer role is to: 

• Support the delivery of the Public Engagement Network contract, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure high-quality, well-organised and inclusive engagement activity

Our approach to hybrid working 

We recognise the importance of coming together regularly, in-person, as a team, so we can share learnings and spend social time with each other. We also recognise that people need flexibility, and that homeworking enables focused work and can fit well in people’s lives.

We ask all staff to take part in pre-arranged team meetings which take place every six weeks in our office space. We also might ask you to meet in-person with members of your team from time to time, or to be available for face-to- face meetings with clients and partners where this enhances the work.

Purpose of Role

At Comic Relief, we harness the power of entertainment and pop culture to create a just world free from poverty. And, as our Fundraising Marketing Manager, you’ll contribute to this by developing brilliant marketing strategies and fundraising toolkits for multiple fundraising campaigns.

You’ll identify ways in which we can use powerful stories and integrate our content and communications to maximize impact across difference audiences. You’ll also lead on awareness generating activity to fill the top of the funnel, and ultimately leading supporters to donations and other activations. Key responsibilities:

Manage the development of marketing plans to support fundraising campaign strategies and objectives that support fundraising income generation.  This may include for example working with internal and/ or external teams to create:

o Working with internal or external creatives on delivering top of the funnel assets for paid media and other channels.

Our client is a Christian charity that has been delivering support for vulnerable people since 1920. They provide specialist housing for women and young people experiencing homelessness, alongside residential care for older people, across the South and South West of England. They are now seeking an experienced Supported Housing Manager to shape and lead their small, specialist women's homelessness service in Reigate (19 beds/medium-needs).

This is an exciting position with both service delivery and strategic responsibilities. As Supported Housing Manager, you will support a small team of frontline staff in providing a high quality housing support service for vulnerable women. You will lead on ensuring that the project provides safe, trauma-informed, person-centred accommodation, overseeing the performance of the team, and ensuring quality assurance checks are completed and that improvements are identified and actioned. You will have responsibility for the oversight of all building maintenance and health and safety and will ensure that the service meets all regulatory and best practice requirements. You will develop strong partnership networks across local authorities, charities, housing providers and churches.

To apply for this role, you will have demonstrable experience of managing supported housing services, or similar services, for vulnerable individuals. You will have experience of overseeing frontline workers and will have previous experience of managing operational budgets. You will be an excellent communicator confident in building partnerships with a range of different organisations for the benefit of the service and the wider organisation. Ultimately you will be enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated to leading a team to deliver the best quality of support for vulnerable homeless women.
