Our Second Home (OSH) is a youth movement for young people with refugee experience to build community, become leaders, and flourish in the place they now call home. Each year, thousands of displaced young people arrive in the UK facing isolation, disruption to education, and limited opportunities to belong. OSH exists to change that.

Our work begins with residential programmes, where young people form friendships, build confidence, and experience joy and belonging. From there, many go on to take part in our nationally certified Leadership Training Programme and our regular Youth Hubs in London and Bristol. We are now looking for a Communications & Content Producer to help bring this work to life. This role is about turning the energy, warmth and leadership that exists across OSH into compelling stories, images and short videos that deepen connection with supporters, recruit volunteers, and support fundraising and events.

The Communications & Content Producer is a freelance role, working 1.5 days per week, reporting to the CEO. You will be responsible for capturing and producing content from across OSH’s programmes – particularly youth hubs, leadership training days and residentials – and shaping it into consistent, values-aligned output across our digital channels.

This includes attending programmes to capture photos, short-form video and quotes; identifying moments that tell the story of OSH; and maintaining a simple, organised content library. You will lead delivery of a regular social media rhythm, with a particular focus on Instagram, including posts, reels and stories, as well as adapting content for other platforms where appropriate.

You will develop and run a small number of recurring content series, write clear and engaging captions in UK English, and design simple, on-brand graphics using tools such as Canva. The role also involves producing a monthly supporter email newsletter, keeping key website pages up to date, supporting fundraising pushes and events such as the Young Leaders’ Graduation Showcase, and helping amplify partners, funders and sector allies.

Alongside content creation, you will put in place light systems – a content calendar, simple co-creation processes for staff and volunteers, and basic analytics – to track what is working and refine output over time.

About You

You do not need a traditional communications background, but you should be excited by youth spaces, storytelling and social impact. You are proactive, organised and practical, with the confidence to work independently and make good use of limited hours.

You will have experience managing social media channels and creating content for an organisation, campaign or project. You are comfortable capturing and editing photos and short-form video on a smartphone, writing clearly and concisely in UK English, and adapting tone for different platforms including Instagram, email and LinkedIn. You care about quality, but you are not precious – you get content made.

Crucially, you are confident working in youth and community settings, committed to safeguarding and consent, and thoughtful about how young people are represented. About the role

In this role we will trust you to work with other team members on a caseload of clients delivering personalised support to them. This includes mental health problems, social isolation, challenging behaviour, finance and debt, alcohol and drug abuse. This is an exciting opportunity to join Citizens Advice Doncaster’s advocacy service, supporting both Deaf and hearing people in Doncaster to ensure their voices are heard and their rights upheld.

The role focuses on statutory and non-statutory advocacy, supporting people to understand information, participate in decision-making, and navigate social care, health, and mental health systems. This role does not involve personal care.

You will provide advocacy support to Deaf and hearing people through a range of methods, including face-to-face meetings, online platforms, and email. You will attend meetings with professionals and ensure that Deaf people can fully access and understand complex information using British Sign Language (BSL), while supporting hearing people using appropriate communication methods.

Working hours are flexible, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy support to Deaf and hearing people in Doncaster

• Support people to participate in meetings with health, social care, housing, and other professionals

• Help people understand information and contribute to decisions about their care and support

• Represent individuals under statutory advocacy roles including IMCA, IMHA, Care Act advocacy, and Relevant Person’s Representative (RPR)

• Support people subject to the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), and Mental Health Act

About You

You will be able to demonstrate that you:

• Are proficient in British Sign Language (BSL) (essential)

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: S11335 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Hounslow. However, regular travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Salary: Circa £16,400 per annum (inner London weighting £1,896 per annum or outer London weighting £1,092 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live) (FTE circa £27,435 per annum)

The Role

Reporting to Service Delivery Coach, key responsibilities will include:

• Organise and facilitate effective service communication for the benefit of stroke survivors and carers in understanding and achieving their goals.

You will have:

• Experience of providing person centred support to empower vulnerable people or people with a disability or long term health condition and their carers
• Ability to nurture emotional resilience needed to handle a variety of calls, potentially dealing with complex and challenging situations whilst working in your own home

High Trees is seeking a Youth Employment Support Service Coordinator for our Build Your Future programme. Build Your Future is a targeted youth employment project supporting young people aged 16–24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). The project provides holistic, person-centred support combining outreach and engagement, pastoral support, employability skills development and progression into education, training or work.

The project is primarily delivered in-house by High Trees, working in partnership with other local delivery partners. Build Your Future focuses on young people facing multiple barriers, including care-experienced young people, migrants and refugees, young people with SEND, and those experiencing social or economic exclusion.

The Build Your Future Project Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring the effective day-to-day delivery of the project. Working closely with High Trees delivery teams and partner organisations, the postholder will coordinate outreach and engagement activity, support the provision of high-quality pastoral support for young people, and ensure strong project coordination, monitoring and reporting.

This role will suit someone who is highly organised, collaborative and passionate about supporting young people facing multiple barriers into education, training and employment.

The role requires a balance of coordination, communication and relationship-building skills. The Head of Finance will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer/Creative Director and will be an active member the Senior Leadership Team, supporting artsdepot’s strategic objectives and decision-making.
