About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Community and Events Manager who will play a key role in growing Playskill's income through community, coporate and event fundraising.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising & Marketing, you will develop new fundraising opportunities, steward existing supporters, and create initiatives that introduce new people to the Playskill community.
You will lead on community and corporate partnerships, manage flagship and fundraising events (including Playskill’s Annual Golf Day), and line-manage the Fundraising Officer.

The Communications Officer plays a significant role in the support of the delivery of AmplifyChange’s communications strategy. They are key to ensuring that AmplifyChange’s key messages and brand are effectively implemented across all of our communications channels. The Communications Officer will report to and work closely with the Communications Manager and in partnership with other teams to support content development for multiple platforms (AmplifyChange’s main website and AmplifyChange Learn, in particular), social media management, and linking and learning opportunities.
The Communications Officer will have an appetite to creatively profile and showcase the work of AmplifyChange grantee partners and support knowledge sharing opportunities. While AmplifyChange has an established set of communications channels and methodologies to share our work and the work of our grantee partners, fresh ideas and perspectives are welcomed and encouraged. The Communications Officer will be comfortable working independently and taking initiative but there will be support available from the Communications Manager and other teams where required.
AmplifyChange is a bilingual fund, working in English and French. As this role centres on effective communications across our channels to all our grantees in Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions, a professional level of written French and comfort speaking the language is essential.
This role would be well suited to someone interested in pursuing a career in communications, content development and/or social media management, who has a strong interest in sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, and/or international development.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Publications and campaigns
- With the Communications Manager, develop content calendars for the year in line with costed workplan
- Support in the creative development and execution of cause day campaigns – e.g., 16 Days to end Violence against Women, International Youth Day, etc.
- Work closely with the Communications Manager to develop blogs, impact reports and other external materials
- Support the development of Grantee Stories and case studies, working with grantee partners to identify and write stories of change
- Provide editing, drafting, and reviewing support for content in line with AmplifyChange’s tone of voice and language
- Support development of Annual Report and other donor reports, where needed
Digital and social media
- Manage the daily oversight of social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky, LinkedIn)
- Disseminate news and information about AmplifyChange, such as published reports and upcoming funding rounds, through social media channels and Circle (interactive grantee partner platform)
- Create and execute social media campaigns using tools like Canva, including developing and drafting content
Linking and learning
- Provide logistical support to AmplifyChange’s engagement in external events, both online and physical
- Provide support and creative input into the development of learning materials for AmplifyChange Learn, including written, visual and audio

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
- Strong copy-editing, proofing, verbal and written communications skills in English
- Demonstrable experience working with social media platforms and support tools (such as Canva) and creating content for these platforms
- Demonstrable experience with blogging, writing reports or articles aimed at communicating key messages, and/or storytelling
- Professional-level spoken and written French

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the Communications Manager. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered. African Rainbow Family (ARF) is a UK-based, lived-experience-led grassroots organisation working with and for LGBTIQ+ refugees and people seeking asylum of African heritage and the Global Majority.

Keep up to date with changes to Meta advertising, tracking, privacy and best practice, flagging risks and opportunities early.
Wider Digital Support

Support wider digital marketing activity as required, including other paid digital channels and acquisition campaigns.

Provide day-to-day cover for the Digital Marketing Manager during periods of leave, ensuring paid social campaigns continue to run smoothly and effectively.

Support delivery of core marketing activity as required, including organic social, campaign optimisation, and reporting.

Provide practical cover for the Social Media Manager when needed, supporting scheduling, publishing and basic community management to maintain a consistent social presence.

Work with content colleagues to support drafting and optimising web and social content.

Act as a reliable point of contact for digital marketing activity during absences, escalating issues appropriately.

Contribute to improving CALM’s use of data, attribution and performance insight across digital fundraising.

The role
We are looking for a Communications and Outreach Assistant (maternity cover) to support ELF’s communications and engagement activities over a 12-month period.
This early-career role blends digital communications with hands-on outreach. You will help produce content for social media and newsletters, support patient education activities and contribute to building strong relationships with individual patients and patient organisations around the world.

What you will do:

Develop and share engaging social media content (graphics, posts, reels) to raise awareness and encourage participation

A passionate and persuasive advocate for climate and nature, you’ll be free to operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading projects and acting as the subject matter expert for F2F and telephone fundraising compliance and quality. By delivering high quality recruitment and training programmes, you’ll be ensuring that our fundraisers are not just trained, but also the most inspired, informed and effective in the sector.
Responsibilities span the strategic management and ownership of the entire F2F recruitment pipeline, as well as setting the direction for training resources and managing the delivery of all induction and campaign training. You’ll also act as the senior coaching resource for team leaders and managers and, working collaboratively, will be expected to drive standards across all in-house and partner teams.
Location: Islington, London. This role will be mainly office based and require UK wide travel to carry out in person interviews (particularly travel to Brighton) as well as some field support for fundraisers. There will be opportunity for some home working (around 1-2 days per week). What we’re looking for:
- Significant, demonstrable experience in designing, implementing and evaluating complex training strategies across multiple channels of F2F.
- Significant experience as a F2F Fundraiser and Team Leader.
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment management, including strategic pipeline planning and managing selection criteria.
- Expert-level operational knowledge of the F2F sector, with an ability to identify and implement sector best practices.
- In-depth, current knowledge of all relevant CIOF, Fundraising Regulator and data protection legislation, with the ability to advise on compliance.
- A track record of coaching managers and team leaders, plus field staff.
- The passion and ability to translate our complex global mission and campaigns – along with our organisational values – into actionable training.

SUPPORTER DEVELOPMENT MANANGER
We are delighted to be working with St Margaret’s Hospice Care who support patients, families and carers across the majority of Somerset, providing specialist in-patient hospice care, an adviceline and community service.
St Margaret’s are now seeking an experienced and innovative Supporter Development Manager to lead the ‘Supporter Experience’ function, bringing fresh ideas and insight-driven strategies to enhance donor engagement. You will manage supporter journeys across all income streams, focus on retention and stewardship, recognise and thank donors appropriately, and ensure accurate data management, Gift Aid compliance, and adherence to fundraising policies.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will help drive the hospice’s five-year income generation strategy, maximising income through innovative, supporter-focused engagement. With one direct report and oversight of a further three team members, you will embed gold-standard stewardship across the directorate, use CRM insights to guide decisions, and support the growth of mid-level giving while ensuring consistently high-quality supporter experiences.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience delivering high-quality supporter care and stewardship strategies that retain donors, reduce attrition, and increase giving opportunities.
- Highly developed organisational and project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience managing and delivering income-generating campaigns or appeals, including setting and managing budgets.
- Experience leading a high-performing team and supporting individuals to achieve their objectives.
- Demonstrable experience using CRM databases to analyse supporter data, with a strong understanding of accurate data capture, data governance, and using insight to enhance the supporter experience.
Open minded, you will be creative in approach, with effective leadership skills, and a strong empathetic and kind nature, particularly towards colleagues and bereaved supporters. With the ability to work well and build relationship with all stakeholders, both internal and externa you won’t be afraid to say no, or to think outside the box.
Experience of Beacon would be an advantage but is not essential.
