About the Innovation and Project Officer role
Supporting innovation across the organisation, you will help to develop and deliver programmes that grow our membership, reach and influence. You will lead the day-to-day management of pilot projects that test new initiatives and engagement opportunities with new audiences, monitoring and evaluating outcomes to capture insights and valuable learning that helps shape the direction of the organisation. This role will involve developing project plans, timelines and key deliverables to monitor project progress and ensure success. Location: Hybrid working, with one day per week at our London, Oxfordshire or Wales office.
About you
You should be experienced in supporting organisational development within membership settings, and skilled in project design and delivery. You will have strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to communicate your findings to diverse audiences. You should have a methodical approach to project management, and be able to confidently engage and build relationships with stakeholders and different audiences. The Natural Capital Assessment Partnership (NCAP) has operated for over 30 years. Formerly the Habitat Biodiversity Audit, a key remit of NCAP has been to survey and gather habitat data across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull, combining ecological field surveys with pioneering satellite imagery and remote sensing analysis. Being the sole representative for a partner school, you will need to use your ability to work independently and with initiative, often organising your own time to meet deadlines. You’ll also need to have a strong aptitude for developing relationships with a range of stakeholders ensuring you uphold high standards of communication and adapt your style for different audiences. The nature of this role will also require you to demonstrate adaptability, resilience and the ability to cope with some uncertainty.
This position would suit you if you’re looking to develop your experience in the education or charity sectors. Existing experience of working with young people and/or project management in a charity or education setting would be an asset.
