This is an exciting opportunity in NCB’s newly formed Centralised support functions, supporting the Business Support and Events teams and linking with the Project Support team.
Post holders will support the operational delivery of activities across their team, working closely with colleagues in their own and aligned teams to provide consistent support.
Events colleagues support the planning, logistics and delivery of online and in-person events, while Business Support colleagues provide business administration, facilities and organisational support. Post holders will also provide flexible support across the wider organisation to help deliver business objectives as necessary.

Main Duties:

The Role
Your time will be split across three core focus areas:
Digital Marketing & Communications: Execute our marketing strategy and audience growth priorities across all digital channels. Craft engaging monthly newsletters and use digital communications to build strong relationships with our supporters . Support the structured growth and marketing of HFTF’s consultancy and paid services to attract, secure and nurture relationships with our partners. Update and manage our WordPress website and core digital channels. Develop, optimise, and design compelling email journeys for our key services using our digital toolkit, including Ticket Tailor and EcoSend. Supervise our Communications freelancer (1 day per week) providing supportive oversight for social media content.
Individual Giving & Campaigns: Develop communications showcasing our real-world impact through collaborative storytelling to increase our visibility and strengthen audience engagement. Help grow our base of regular individual supporters to increase our unrestricted income. With the Fundraising Manager's support, you will lead digital individual giving campaigns, including the Big Give, to grow our regular supporter base and boost unrestricted income.
Climate Connect Platform Growth: Expand our digital organising platform into a sustainable paid service for partners, creating a long-term income stream. Design campaigns to increase platform uptake, engage with organisations and communities to actively use Climate Connect, ensuring a smooth user journey. Independent Domestic Violence Advocate
We are looking for a resilient and dedicated person to join the team in Avon & Somerset as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) dealing with Adolescent and Child to Parent Violence (APV/CPV). The service provides support across the whole geography of Avon & Somerset.

Position: 6820 Independent Domestic Violence Advocate
Location: Avon and Somerset/Hybrid
Hours: Part-time, 18.75 hours per week. Hours to be discussed at interview, worked between 9.30am - 5.30pm during Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed Term to 31st March 2028
Salary: Qualified £14,791.50 per annum (FTE £29,583.00 per annum), Unqualified £13,876.00 per annum (FTE £27,752.00 per annum)

The Role
This role involves making initial contact with victims of adolescent and child to parent violence and providing initial support in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
You will provide high quality support to all victims of APV/CPV, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline. If further funding became available there may be an opportunity for more hours.

About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison.You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.
We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales.Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.
