In this fixed-term role you will work closely with our educational content leads, designers and external stakeholders to ensure our high-impact classroom resources and live events are delivered seamlessly, on time and to the highest standard. RESPONSIBILITIES
Project and operational management
- Manage the Topical Talk Leadership for Change Prize, Live Lessons, curriculum modules and student workshops end-to-end: from roadmaps and capacity mapping through to impact and evaluation

- Balance team workloads across concurrent educational projects and plan capacity for incoming projects
- Continuously refine workflow processes to streamline resource creation and evaluation
Programme governance and evaluation
- Partner with the Director of Programmes to track key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate audience reach and maintain rigorous data collection for monitoring and evaluating our programmes
- Proactively identify bottlenecks, content risks or scheduling delays, implementing swift mitigation strategies to keep delivery on track
Live Lesson and workshop operations
- Manage the end-to-end operational execution of student workshops and our Live Lessons – handling scheduling, platform setups and logistics
- Coordinate school visits for content testing and observation, ensuring all safeguarding and operational requirements are fully met
Stakeholder and relationship coordination
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for external topic experts, guest contributors, and editorial contributors from The Economist Group
- Maintain clear lines of communication between the programmes team, marketing, operations and external partners to ensure projects are aligned with strategic aims
- Manage external freelance contractors and vendors, with support from the administrative officer
SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS
Whether you come from a project or educational management background or are a leader in charity operations, you possess the following:
- Outstanding ability to build, manage and maintain complex multi-phase project plans with precision and accountability
- A relentless eye for detail, operational rigor, and a knack for creating clean, efficient workflows out of complex tasks
- A proactive, self-starting mindset capable of foreseeing risks, resolving bottlenecks quickly and keeping cross-functional teams moving forward
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate across diverse stakeholders – from freelance producers and internal creative teams to senior editors and external experts
- A collaborative nature. You motivate project contributors, keep teams aligned and foster a supportive working environment
- Discipline with deadlines, whereby you act as a dependable anchor for the team, managing requests consistently
EXPERIENCE
You have…
- Proven project management experience where you have demonstrated success in managing content creation, publishing workflows or educational delivery pipelines from conception to completion
- Experience using project management and collaboration platforms to drive team accountability and workflow tracking
- A track record of coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (e.g. writers, designers, subject-matter experts) under tight production schedules
- Experience implementing monitoring, reporting and evaluation frameworks to track project success metrics and user engagement
- Practical experience running hybrid, in-person, or large-scale virtual workshops and webinars
You might have…
- Formal project management certifications or training

The charity reaches around 1,200 individuals (annually) with the most deep-rooted needs; people whose interlinking mental and physical health, and trauma and substance use challenges mean they often struggle to access mainstream support. Providence Row provides a wide range of Crisis and Progression services including showers, meals, advice & support, health and wellbeing services, drug and alcohol harm reduction, psychotherapy, a hospital discharge service, and learning, training and work-readiness programmes, amongst others. In 2025/26, we supported 1,270 people through 36,313 tailored interventions.

We are keen to receive applications from people with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in fundraising and partnership development and who want to take their skills to the next level by helping further grow our Trusts and Foundations partnerships, as well as those with other similar supporters including Livery Companies, so we can continue responding to the needs of our clients and the evolving homelessness emergency.
If the above sounds like a good fit for you and you felt motivated and excited to join our small, fun, dedicated and impactful Fundraising and Marketing Team, then we would love to hear from you.
Research shows some people, especially women and marginalised groups, may hesitate to apply unless they match all the criteria. However, we want to assure everyone that we encourage applications from all individuals, regardless of whether they fulfil every point in the job description. Your unique perspective matters to us – please apply with confidence.

Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead the delivery of one of the most significant transformation programmes in our organisation's history.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our Big Change Programme (BCP), ensuring complex projects are delivered successfully, organisational change is embedded, and our investment in digital transformation delivers lasting benefits across Centrepoint.
About us
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills to help them move into education, training and employment. Our ambition is to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people every year.
The Big Change Programme is transforming the way Centrepoint works. Through new systems, improved processes and modern digital ways of working, we're building a more efficient organisation that allows our colleagues to spend more time focusing on what matters most - supporting young people.
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week in the office. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g. two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts, this will be adjusted accordingly.
About you
You'll be an experienced programme leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale organisational transformation and complex change programmes. You'll thrive in fast-paced environments, be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and know how to bring people together around a shared vision.
You'll have:
- Significant experience leading complex business transformation or digital change programmes.
- A recognised project or programme management qualification (such as PRINCE2, APM or equivalent).
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, budgets, risks and programme governance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, external partners and suppliers.
- Experience implementing organisational change that improves systems, processes and ways of working.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging updates for a range of audiences.
- A collaborative leadership style and a passion for continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
As Senior Programme Manager, you'll provide strategic leadership for Centrepoint's Big Change Programme, ensuring projects remain aligned to organisational priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
You'll:
- Lead the planning, delivery and governance of a complex portfolio of transformation projects.
- Manage the programme budget, timeline, risks and resource planning. Ensure there is an appropriate structure for overseeing individual project management of budget and delivery to time.
- Develop and maintain programme reporting for senior leadership, trustees and governance boards.
- Drive high-quality programme management standards, ensuring appropriate controls, business cases and change management processes are in place.
- Work closely with project managers, suppliers and technology partners to deliver successful system implementations.
- Build strong relationships across Centrepoint, ensuring colleagues are engaged and supported throughout change.
- Help shape future digital and organisational transformation, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Champion collaboration, learning and best practice across project delivery.
- Ensure the BCP is connected to wider change initiatives across Centrepoint.
Why join Centrepoint?
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK's leading charities. You'll join an ambitious organisation committed to improving the lives of young people while helping transform how we operate.
In return for your efforts you'll receive a competitive salary, excellent learning and development opportunities and a fantastic range of benefits including:
- 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 days with service
- Healthcare Cash Plan
- Private Medical Insurance
- Income Protection
- Employer pension contribution of 5%
