The Organiser will be responsible for powering Compass’ local groups, with a key focus on building our local groups ahead of the next election, and developing relationships across progressive political parties. They will play a key role in helping Compass strengthen its organising infrastructure while building productive relationships with partners outside Labour, including Liberal Democrats, Greens, and Welsh and Scottish nationalists, and with regional leaders working outside Westminster.
They will support work across the full range of Compass’ campaigns work, building powerful coalitions in key seats, growing the local groups infrastructure, developing cross-party relationships, and working on cutting through to key constituencies.
The role requires someone to use their excellent relationship building skills to work with diverse groups of people to build and grow teams around a shared vision and strategy.
The Organiser will work closely with Compass’ Deputy Director, as well as with the Executive Director, Campaigns Officer, Fundraising and Membership Manager, and Media and Press Officer, and alongside a broad network of partners, allies, associates and volunteers. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, relational, organised, committed and keen to learn. They should be comfortable working in a small, lively team and with groups and political traditions with different perspectives.

About the Role
This is a varied and influential role within the organisation's Networks and Engagement team, with responsibility for supporting regional volunteer networks across the UK and internationally, alongside the Young Engineers Network (YEN).

This role has been created as part of a restructure of our youth team and will sit under the current youth pastor. Under their leadership, the postholder will take point on developing a youth ministry at a new HT congregation in northeast Cambridge, which is due to be launched in 2027. Rossendale Refugee Support Group is a small, community-based charity committed to supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety . We provide practical advice, advocacy, support and opportunities for social contact to individuals and families living in Rossendale. Having established a strong reputation locally we have recently secured a Local Authority contract for delivering refugee advice services. We are now seeking a Director who can lead the charity at a time of transformation, capitalising on our increased financial security to improve our offer, develop strategic direction, and establish the charity on a more sustainable footing. Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Leadership. Work with Trustees to develop and implement future direction of the organisation.

Youth Employment UK is seeking a Senior Policy Officer to join our Policy and Research department at an important moment for youth employment policy.
The Senior Policy Officer will strengthen Youth Employment UK’s policy and insight capacity by helping gather, analyse and communicate evidence from young people, employers, members and the wider youth employment system.
Working with the Policy and Research Director, the role will support Youth Employment UK to develop high-quality policy positions, recommendations, briefings and reports, and to strengthen our reputation as a leading source of insight and practical solutions for youth employment.
This is a policy-focused role with strong research literacy. It is not a technical academic research post, but the postholder will need to be confident in interpreting evidence, drawing out implications, writing clearly, and translating insight into practical recommendations for different audiences.
Summary of responsibilities
Monitor, analyse and respond to youth employment-related policy developments through written briefings, articles, guidance and formal evidence submissions.
Support the development of Youth Employment UK policy positions, recommendations and messages
Work with Youth Ambassadors and young people to gather insight that informs policy positions, reports and recommendations
Support delivery of our Youth Voice Census by writing up findings for a wide range of audiences
Support Youth Employment UK’s Good Youth Employment Benchmark by conducting employer interviews and writing employer-facing reports.
Support Youth Employment UK’s public affairs activity, including APPG, Connected Communities and other policy forums.

About you

You will bring:

Research literacy and confidence working with evidence, data, reports and lived experience insight
Ability to turn complex information into clear briefings, recommendations and practical outputs
Confidence in engaging with a range of stakeholders, such as young people, employers, members, policymakers, charities, NGOs, think tanks or public bodies.
