Richmond Borough Mind is a vibrant local charity that has been supporting and providing services for adults affected by mental health problems and their carers for over 60 years. 

We are excited to be looking for a Young Adults Peer Support Worker. You will have your own lived experience of mental ill health and be able to use this experience as well as your professional skills and knowledge, to support others.

With the expansion of our work in this area we aim to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions from youth to adult services. We will be offering holistic and personalised care and support to service users and carers.

This role will carry caseload and deliver a range of support and person-centred interventions to meet these needs, which could include group support, one-to-one interventions and signposting where specialist advice is needed. Referrals could be young adults, careleavers, people currently under adult mental health services, or carers supporting people in the community.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues, and able to support people on their journey to recovery. As well as having an empathy with the core values of RB Mind, the successful applicants will have the skills to provide person-centred support, through one-to-one sessions and through facilitating groups. You will have an awareness of the boundaries we work within when supporting vulnerable adults. You should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, and must be able to work on your own initiative.

This is a partnership project with South West London St George’s Mental Health Trust (SWLStG), locally led by Richmond Borough Mind. Are you an experienced fundraiser who enjoys building relationships and wants the opportunity to shape a role around your skills and experience?

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser to join Enham Trust and help grow our corporate fundraising. You will manage and develop our existing partnerships while also building new relationships and identifying opportunities to bring new supporters on board.

This is a role where you will have the opportunity to take ownership, bring your own ideas and help shape how our corporate fundraising develops.

What you will be doing

You’ll build and maintain relationships with our corporate partners, while also identifying new organisations and opportunities to grow our income. You’ll work closely with businesses to develop fundraising, sponsorship, volunteering and other ways they can support Enham Trust.

You’ll also:

• Manage and develop existing corporate partnerships, while building relationships with new supporters.
• Identify and secure new fundraising and partnership opportunities.
• Develop corporate fundraising programmes and activities that encourage businesses to support Enham Trust.
• Develop effective processes and workflows to support corporate fundraising and supporter engagement.
• Meet with corporate partners, volunteers and other stakeholders
• Coordinate corporate volunteering opportunities and support positive experiences for our partners.
• Work closely with the wider fundraising team and contribute to wider fundraising activity where needed.

There is plenty of scope for the role to develop, so we’re looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes ownership and happy to bring new ideas to the table.

About you

You’ll already have fundraising experience and understand how to build strong relationships with supporters and develop those relationships into fundraising opportunities. Corporate or partnership fundraising experience is important, as you’ll be managing existing relationships while also looking for new opportunities.

You will be responsible for growing income to support Enham Trust’s fundraising targets.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident, organised and able to manage their own workload.

Experience of working within the disability sector would be useful but isn’t essential. Fundraising training and support will be available, so we’re looking for someone who has the right fundraising experience and wants to develop their career with us.

You will need to be based within or near Hampshire, as we’re looking for someone who can work from our Enham Trust office around 2 to 3 days a week. You’ll also need to be comfortable travelling to meet corporate partners and attend external meetings, so you’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Purpose of Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Trust and Foundations Fundraising Officer to help secure the funding needed to sustain and develop our vital work. Working closely with the Trust & Foundation Fundraising Manager and colleagues across the organisation, the successful candidate will be a confident relationship-builder with excellent written communication skills and a track record of securing grant funding and reporting impact to funders to maximise future support.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with operational teams to develop funding applications to meet agreed income targets to help fund core activities and priority projects.

• To develop and maintain a list of suitable, well researched prospects and ensure that opportunities for funding are not missed by maintaining a suitable pipeline.

• Regular review of income pledges and received, and the funding pipeline, reporting progress and risks to manager.

• Liaise with relevant project staff to coordinate and submit monitoring and evaluation reports to funders.

• Ensure all reporting requirements are met in line with agreed deadlines.

• To ensure that all relevant administration is recorded accurately on the fundraising CRM and shared team databases.

• To monitor payment dates and ensure payments are received when expected.

• Build and maintain relationships with funders, helping them to understand the impact of their support.

• Support the Contracts and Planning Team with other duties as required, contributing flexibly to wider team priorities and organisational needs

About this job

This part-time, fixed-term role (21 hours per week) will coordinate our Breathing Space project in Wales until March 2029. The project enables unpaid carers supporting people with MS and other neurological conditions to take short breaks.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Project Coordinator who enjoys delivering fixed-term funded projects, working directly with the people we support and our volunteers. Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to achieve project objectives are essential.

You will work closely with unpaid carers, people affected by MS and other neurological conditions, key external partners, the Service and Support Team, the Director for Wales and teams across the MS Society. Focused on outcomes and tangible results, you will build strong stakeholder partnerships and represent the MS Society at meetings and events promoting the project to unpaid carers.

The role can be based anywhere in Wales, but regular travel across Wales is expected.

Welsh language skills are desirable

You will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities and work with people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation and engage with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of people’s rights.

The role also works in local community settings and with community groups to deliver advice and rights awareness workshops and make sure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their opinions and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. Offering day to day support to volunteers, providing learning, shadowing and mentoring and being a consistent role model for our values are also key aspects of the role.

About you

You are able to listen to, engage and work with individuals and communities, including people with lived experience of homelessness. You will have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy and are able to progress to specialist level knowledge, as well as the ability to carry out casework related interviews, maintain detailed case records, advise and support clients to make informed decisions.A proven record of delivering group workshops and presentations is essential, as is a collaborative, flexible and professional approach to your work.

Careers and Employability Adviser

Do you have professional experience providing one-to-one employment, careers, education or training support to unemployed people?

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Careers Specialist with a strong background in frontline employability support and working with people facing barriers to employment.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who can build strong relationships with young people, take ownership of their support journey, and motivate and empower them to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Position: Careers and Employability Adviser (internally known as Careers Specialist)

Location: London/Hybrid (London Waterloo office, with regular travel to Local Authority hubs across London. The role requires face-to-face delivery at different hub locations for a minimum of two days per week, depending on programme needs)

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Contract: Fixed term for 12 months (with possibility of extension)

Benefits: 27 days holiday per year PLUS the 1st Friday of every month is a half day. Pension and contributions are payable 3% after 3 months of service, employee assistance programme.

About the Role

As a Careers Specialist, you will combine strong frontline employability experience with a genuine passion for making a difference in young people’s lives. You will independently manage a caseload of young people aged 16–26, building trusted relationships and providing tailored support to help them overcome barriers and progress towards sustainable employment, education or training.

Working across London in partnership with Local Authorities, you will provide high-quality one-to-one careers and employability support, broaden young people’s horizons and empower them to be ambitious about their future.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Independently manage a caseload of young people.
• Provide high-quality, person-centred Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG), assessing individual needs and barriers, agreeing clear action plans, and regularly reviewing progress towards career goals.
• Build strong and trusting relationships with young people, maintaining regular engagement and proactively re-engaging those who may disengage from support.
• Identify and create suitable opportunities for employment, education and training that align with young people’s interests, abilities, circumstances and aspirations.
• Provide practical employability support, including CV development, job searching, applications etc
• Work towards agreed programme targets and outcomes.
• Deliver workshops, group sessions and outreach activities to engage and support young people.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of engagement, interventions, progress and outcomes.
• Maintain a client-centred and inclusive approach.
• Work collaboratively with Local Authorities.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive and learning-focused team culture.

This role involves regular travel across London to deliver face-to-face support from different Local Authority hubs for at least two days per week.

About You

You will be an experienced frontline practitioner who is confident managing a busy caseload and supporting young people with a range of barriers to achieve meaningful outcomes. You will be resilient, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to build trust while maintaining clear professional boundaries. You will be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and travelling regularly across London, while also contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 2 years’ professional frontline experience providing one-to-one employability, careers, education or training support to young people or adults facing barriers to employment, including those from disadvantaged or underrepresented backgrounds.
• Proven experience of independently managing a caseload, including assessing individual needs, agreeing and reviewing action plans, maintaining regular engagement, recording interventions and progress, and supporting individuals towards measurable employment, education or training outcomes.
• A strong track record of building trusting professional relationships with individuals who may face complex or multiple barriers.
• Practical experience supporting individuals with employability activities such as CV development, job searching, applications, interview preparation and identifying suitable opportunities.
• Experience or confidence in delivering employability workshops, training sessions, group activities etc

Housing IDVA - Maternity Cover 6 months 

(£31,537 per annum, 6 month contract - Possible Extension)

Her Centre is a hyper-local women’s charity, providing services to women and girls in Greenwich. We support women and children affected by domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and relationship trauma.

We provide Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) to support women and children by providing emotional support, support to flee abuse and a safety plan. Our services also include free legal support with a family lawyer, a welfare advice hub, training programmes for both women and organisations, and a range of empowerment courses such as ESOL classes, counselling, peer support groups and more to help women build skills, confidence, and independence.

We are seeking a dedicated Housing IDVA to provide maternity cover for 6 months - we offer a 4 day working week as standard full time to promote wellbeing for all of our staff

Role

To provide individual support to women experiencing domestic abuse who present to the Royal Borough Greenwich Housing Team with housing issues or who are at risk of homelessness due to domestic abuse. The Housing IDVA provides specialist support for women with complex housing needs through risk assessments, individual advice sessions, advocacy in court and with other statutory services, and by working directly with the Royal Borough of Greenwich Housing Inclusion Team and Tenancy Services. (The post holder will be colocated between the council offices and Her Centre main office.)

Responsibilities

 1. To provide advice and advocacy for women experiencing domestic abuse by offering crisis intervention, information and support for those who have directly presented to the Housing with housing needs or are at risk of homelessness due to domestic or sexual abuse or violence or any other recognised intimate violence against women and girls.

2. To devise emergency safety plans for survivors, liaising with social services, the Housing Inclusion and Support Team, and refuges to secure emergency housing if needed. To act as point of contact for Housing and work collaboratively with partners to ensure safety of survivors and their children

3. To provide targeted support where women have mental health, substance misuse, complex needs or face other challenges. Where needed, refer to appropriate support services if the survivor has support needs or requires a specialist service, e.g. male survivor to Respect or GALOP, frail older people to Adult Social Services.

4. To carry out risk assessments of women for referrals to MARAC where applicable

5. To develop effective links and partnerships with police and the courts and provide information, advice and support to survivors going through the legal process, explaining the effectiveness of criminal and civil sanctions available.

6. To attend MARAC to represent the needs of survivors, including joint work with the council and other housing bodies to resolve issues about re-housing, the woman’s safety, and legal actions.

7. To comply with safeguarding requirements relating to children and vulnerable adults and explain the safeguarding requirements to the survivor.

8. Maintain and update accurate written and computer records of all cases and share a summary of this information with managers, ensuring that data protection (GDPR) regulations are followed, (within the organisation as well as when communicating with partner organisations).

9. To maintain contact with the survivor at regular (timely) intervals to provide support and ensure her safety, including updates of the risk assessment and safety plan.

10. To respond within the bounds of confidentiality (GDPR), to requests from other agencies for consultations or facilitate direct contact between agencies and service users.

11. To participate in multi-agency workings parties and focus groups, when requested to do so by the Director or your manager.

12. To provide advice and training at a range of locations as requested for both professionals and the public, including being the main point of contact for Housing staff when upskilling or advice is required by the team

13. To keep up to date on research, policy development and other literature relevant to the project. Attend relevant conferences and seminars on behalf of the project.

14. To attend team meetings, relevant meetings with trustees and to be part of Her Centre outreach marketing plan

15. To attend training as identified with your manager and in liaison with the Housing Inclusion & Support Service.

16. To take on other tasks as appropriate as requested by managers or the Trustees

The role will also lead the development of new resources and digital projects that encourage and enable more people affected by cancer to become and stay active.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Digital Engagement

Lead the development and day-to-day management of MOVE Against Cancer’s social media channels. Create engaging content that encourages and supports people affected by cancer to move more and stay active. Develop and share regular content to show what MOVE are working on including: movement tips educational content participant stories programme highlights expert insights Build and nurture an online community around movement and cancer. Increasing our engagement. Monitor engagement and use insights to improve reach and impact.

Digital Resources and Educational Content

Lead our resource advisory group and resource development projects. Develop, share and maintain online resources that support people living with and beyond cancer. Produce accessible digital content such as: articles Guides toolkits FAQs movement advice pages newsletters programme information Ensure resources are clear, supportive and evidence informed. Work with clinicians, partners and beneficiaries to develop relevant guidance.

Website Development

Working in partnership with our digital agency, lead the development, testing and improvement of website content. Ensure resources are easy to find, well organised and regularly updated. Create new pages and digital content that support both beneficiaries and partners.

Multimedia Content Creation and Sharing

Produce and manage multimedia digital content, including: short videos photography participant interviews educational content Capture stories that highlight the benefits of movement during and after cancer treatment.

Content Planning and Coordination

Manage a digital content calendar across social media and the website. Coordinate contributions from staff, partners and participants. Ensure consistency in tone, accessibility and messaging.

Data, Learning and Impact

Help us gather data and understand data. Use analytics to understand how people engage with digital content. Support the development of feedback and impact surveys for beneficiaries. Contribute to improvements in digital systems or databases where relevant. Lead the adoption of AI‑driven tools, ensuring our team, Trustees and volunteers understand how to use emerging technologies responsibly and effectively. Use data for planning purposes, to extend our reach to more people impacted by cancer.

Person Specification

Essential skills and experience

Experience creating and managing digital content across platforms, particularly social media and websites. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging and accessible content such as articles, guides, and online resources. Experience planning and delivering social media content and engagement. Experience managing or updating website content (e.g. CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar). Experience producing video or multimedia content (videography, photography, editing). Ability to translate complex or specialist information into clear, supportive content for different audiences. The purpose of the role is to assist our clients with immigration legal advice and representation. The focus of this legal work is on non-legal aid funded matters, supporting people to preserve immigration status and for some become British Citizens. While the majority of the immigration advice and representation at RMJ is free for clients, this service we charge an affordable fee to help those who cannot find affordable and professional representation.

Key Responsibilities 

Case management:

• Manage own caseload, working to advance the best interests of the client
• Adhere to standards set out by IAA/SRA and AQS to deliver high-quality advice#
• Provide advice and representation up to IAA level 2/3.
• Engage with the Line Manager to create and follow a training plan to ensure compliance with IAA CPD, keeping up to date with changes in law, policy and guidance to ensure clients receive accurate and high-quality advice
