ABOUT THE ROLE

The Fundraising and Marketing Assistant will play a pivotal part in advancing Off The Records (OTR) fundraising and marketing strategies. As OTR continues to grow, this position will be instrumental in expanding our online presence and ensuring we connect with a broad audience, including young people, families, professionals, and supporters of our mission. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who is both creative and analytical, skilled in producing compelling content and using data to amplify digital impact. This role would suit someone who ideally has previous charity experience, can take initiative, think proactively, and confidently manage projects independently – qualities that are especially important in our small, dedicated team.

You’ll work on a wide range of projects, creating engaging content that aligns with OTR’s brand and values across our website, social media, and email campaigns. This includes developing multimedia content (including graphics, videos and blogs) to promote our work and highlight our impact in the local community.

From a fundraising perspective, you will support our fundraising activities and ensure efficient administration using the ‘Donorfy’ database. This includes leading on the stewardship of donors and community fundraisers, managing our fundraising CRM database, and working on small and medium-sized trust and grant applications. You’ll also support digital campaigns and new initiatives, to encourage sustained support for our work. You’ll directly help to secure the financial support needed to expand OTR’s services and reach more beneficiaries. In addition, you’ll analyse the performance of our digital channels – interpreting website analytics, social media metrics, and email campaign results – to provide recommendations that enhance our communications strategies and ensure ongoing impact.

JOB PURPOSE

The Fundraising and Marketing Assistant will play a key role in implementing OTR’s fundraising and marketing strategies. The role involves planning, creating, curating and managing high-quality digital content across our website, social media platforms and email marketing campaigns. Furthermore, you will support key areas of our fundraising strategy, including trust and grant applications, horizon scanning and ensuring excellent fundraising administration across all areas of activity.

This position is instrumental in supporting the Head of Fundraising in developing and strengthening OTR’s income streams and increasing awareness of OTR’s services through effective communications. 

SPECIFIC ROLE DUTIES

Supporting the fundraising strategy

• Support OTR’s donor and community fundraiser stewardship, through excellent communication and effective relationship management.

• Support the implementation of fundraising communications across channels.

• Support with small to medium size trust and grant applications, including horizon scanning.

• Support the stewardship of small and medium-sized trusts and foundations including scoping, applications, reporting and funder management.

• Create engaging content and campaigns to drive income generation.

• Help build the small pool of regular donors.

Website and CRM maintenance

• Work with OTR’s Head of Fundraising, Administrative Team Leader and web developer to update and enhance the OTR website.

• Monitor website performance, user engagement and SEO trends, suggesting and

implementing improvements to enhance user experience and visibility.

• Ensure our CRM (Donorfy) is utilised effectively to record, monitor and report on fundraising activity and income.

Social media

• Work collaboratively with the team, to contribute to OTR’s social media presence, by creating and scheduling engaging, accessible, and informative content that resonates with our audience and supports OTR’s mission.

• Identify new opportunities to grow OTR’s social media reach, building awareness of our services, fundraising and outreach work.

• Regularly report on social media performance, using insights to inform future content and strategy.

• Utilise paid ads to support activity, where relevant.

Email marketing

• Manage the planning, creation, and delivery of OTR’s quaterly email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, fundraising initiatives and service information and signposting.

• Ensure all email communications are engaging, well-structured, and in line with OTR’s brand and tone of voice.

• Assist in the promotion of key OTR events.

• Manage and grow OTR’s email marketing lists, ensuring they are up to date and GDPR compliant.

• Track and analyse the performance of email campaigns, providing reports and insights to the Head of Fundraising.

Content creation

• With support from the Youth Participation Officer and Youth Board, create engaging, accessible, and informative content for OTR’s digital channels, including the website, social media and email marketing.

• Develop multimedia content (for example, videos and graphics) to enhance OTR’s

communication methods and increase engagement.

• Contribute to blogs, news articles and case studies that highlight OTR’s work, impact and achievements in the sector.

Brand and tone of voice

• Ensure that all digital content aligns with OTR’s brand, tone of voice and style,

maintaining a cohesive and recognisable identity across all platforms.

• Promote OTR as the leading place to turn to for support, ensuring that our content

reflects our professionalism, reputation and expertise.

Analytics and reporting

• Use analytics tools to track the performance of OTR’s digital communications, including website traffic, email engagement and social media reach.

• Provide regular reports on digital performance to the Head of Fundraising, including insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Provide regular reports from the CRM and other online fundraising platforms to the

Head of Fundraising.

Promote

• Promote OTR as an exceptional and specialist charity.

Through your work our members will be engaged, our finance will be carefully logged and reported and our quest for peace will be enhanced. Our headquarters, Peace House, will under your guidance be a safe, welcoming and well run space. You will also support a sister peace movement with a few hours finance and payrol support.

This role will balance out desk-based work with supporting the running and hiring of Peace House. Your impact will widen as you will also provide remote book keeping and payroll support for our sister organisation the Anglican Pacifist Fellowship.

As Senior Youth Support Worker you will;

· Provide supervision to Youth Outreach Worker(s).

· Be present in hospital and community locations to support young people that are impacted by violence.

· Work with young people in the community supporting them to process what has happened and linking them in with services/groups that will provide them with sustainable ongoing support.

· Deliver group work sessions to get young people talking about the issue of violence providing a safe space for them to talk about their concerns and what they want to change. 

· Support communities impacted by critical incidents.

Amongst other requirements, the successful post holder must have:

· Relevant experience OR qualification in Youth & Community (JNC), Social Work (QSW) or SEND.

· Reliability, with a flexible approach to changes and able to work unsociable hours.

Job Purpose:

Manage the on-site delivery of MSF UK’s Face-to-Face (F2F) fundraising activity across Festivals and Events, ensuring high-performing, safe and professional fundraising operations that maximise income and public engagement.

Provide day-to-day management and development of Team Leaders, Fundraisers and Coordinator-level roles, driving performance through coaching, monitoring and clear accountability against targets.

We are recruiting a part time Pause Coordinator to join our established Practice in Halton.

Pause Coordinators play a vital role in the success of our work. They manage a broad and varied range of responsibilities, from supporting finance, data and performance monitoring systems, to organising events and providing high-level administrative and strategic support. As a key point of contact, they work closely with professionals, women and partners, requiring excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the needs and experiences of the women we support.

As a Pause Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Practice, helping ensure the team can work effectively and deliver meaningful impact.

You will be central to the smooth day-to-day running of the service, particularly as colleagues are often working out in the community. This role suits someone who is highly organised, proactive and detail-focused. You'll be in the office as well as working from home, and as you're part time, we can be flexible with your hours.

In October 2025, St Ann’s Hospice became Moya Cole. Their two hospices in Heald Green and Little Hulton provide person centred care and support to adults affected by life-limiting illnesses. They serve thousands of people every year across Greater Manchester.

As part of an ongoing strategy of development, SCAA are looking for a highly motivated, focussed and committed individual to support the growth of our corporate partnerships programme. Working closely with the Partnerships Manager, you’ll play a key role in identifying, securing and developing partnerships that generate sustainable income and create meaningful impact for our charity.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and delivering exceptional donor experiences.

The Partnerships Fundraiser will support on the securing of new partnerships and take the lead on stewarding our corporate partner portfolio. They will join a dynamic team who are passionate about supporting our corporate partners, demonstrating the contribution they make to our critical service through their donations of time and money.

This role will be based either in Perth, at Scone Airport, or at our Aberdeen base, at Aberdeen Airport. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours of work will be Monday—Friday, 9am—5pm but it should be noted that this role will require the successful candidate to occasionally work at weekends and during the evenings. This role will also require the successful candidate to travel regularly to partner locations within Scotland.

About You

Essential

• Experience working in a similar role managing partnerships between businesses and/or charities either within the commercial or charity sector.
• Experience developing donor-focussed communications.
• Experience of working with relevant CRM databases and a commitment to capturing donor relationship details through the use of these systems.
• Knowledge of appropriate fundraising regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish meaningful connections with our partners.
• Research skills to support the recruitment of new partners.
• Ability to build successful relationships with a range of stakeholders including donors, volunteers, ambassadors, board members and other senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellence and continuous improvement.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to complete tasks including all administration around tasks and archiving key materials for learning and review.
• Ability to conduct thorough reviews of projects against KPIs.
• Ability to work within a team, adopting a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, whilst also able to work independently, being pro-active and self-sufficient.
• Proficient IT skills, including the use of the Microsoft Office suite.

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Customer Journeys and Experience Manager to join our Customer Engagement and Experience Team on a fixed term basis for six months.

We’re about to launch our new, organisation-wide, segmentation project – Designed Around You, where you’ll play a key role in using this new insight to support teams to deliver the experience our customers have of Prostate Cancer UK. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering multi-channel customer journeys that provide a consistent and engaging experience to all customers of Prostate Cancer UK. You’ll lead the ongoing development and optimisation of how we welcome customers to the organisation, as well as our engagement journeys, ensuring that customer needs are met, and behaviours and interests are tracked across every touchpoint.

You’ll take a lead on briefing, journey design development, analysis, and reporting, to optimise customer engagement and income. Additionally, you'll act as a liaison between data delivery, insights and product teams, sharing insights and best practice across the organisation. Coaching and collaborating with colleagues and external agencies is essential to ensure successful deployment of programmes.

You’ll bring strong experience from a communications or direct marketing environment, with a clear track record of delivering multi-channel customer journeys for a range of audiences. Initially offered as a six-month contract, this role will take the lead on income generation and shape the future of our fundraising landscape during a period of organisational development and review.

You will play a crucial role in delivering the charity’s ambitious fundraising strategy, driving its successful implementation and helping to shape the future of our income generation. Working across trusts and foundations, statutory funding, Major Giving and wider fundraising opportunities you will identify, develop and secure sustainable income that enables our services to grow and thrive.

 As Interim Senior Fundraising & Communications Lead you will enjoy writing exceptional quality bids, with the ability to understand and present complex information and data in a wide range of formats to funders with very different needs. This includes one-page summaries to lengthy (20,000+ word) bids, working with local funders as well asthose interested in the national picture.

Across all activities, you’ll lead on building strong relationships with funders and partners, proactively identifying new opportunities to diversify income. Working alongside the CEO and widerteam, you’ll use your experience, expertise, creativity, and strategic thinking to maximise fundraising potential and help ensure the charity can continue making a lasting difference to the communities we serve. 

Alongside this you will lead on delivering our communications strategy creating engaging and impactful content across digital channels. You’ll help strengthen our brand, raise awareness of our work and bring our impact to life through compelling storytelling that inspires supporters, funders and communities.
