Legacy giving is a vital and growing part of Greenpeace UK's fundraising programme, generating £5–7.5 million each year and playing a crucial role in securing long-term, sustainable income. Following a recent step-change in investment, there is now a significant opportunity to accelerate growth and position legacy giving more centrally across Greenpeace UK’s fundraising and supporter engagement.

This role is central to Greenpeace UK’s legacy programme, managing a varied caseload from straightforward estates to complex and high-value cases. As a newly created position, it brings legacy administration fully in-house and will play a key role in ensuring income is realised in full, accurately managed, and delivered in line with best practice.

As Legacy Case Manager, you will: 

• Manage a caseload of residuary, pecuniary, life interest, discretionary, and high-value legacies, including contentious cases
• Lead on the preparation, monitoring and reporting of the legacy income budget and mid year forecasts, working closely with Finance and Fundraising colleagues to provide accurate, timely projections and variance analysis
• Work closely with internal teams and build effective external relationships with solicitors, executors and families to support positive outcomes
• Identify and resolve complex issues involving probate, trusts, tax, property, or litigation
• Represent Greenpeace UK externally with professionalism, fostering constructive relationships with pledgers, executors, solicitors, and sector peers
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Charity Commission guidance, and ILM best practice

Essential skills and experience:

• Substantial experience in charity legacy and estate administration, both contentious and non-contentious
• Significant knowledge of probate, trusts, tax, and property issues relevant to legacy casework
• Strong understanding of sector best practice in legacy administration and charity law
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume and varied caseload to deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Diplomacy, empathy, and resilience in handling contentious or sensitive cases
• Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage competing demands

A legal, probate, or legacy administration qualification is advantageous but not required.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in local communities. Role Overview: 

Reporting to the Community and Social Value Manager and joining the Community and Social Value Team, the postholder will work internally to support Enable services’ community work and externally to develop relationships and build capacity.

Internally, you will be working alongside Heads of Service and managers to support and expand the community work and social impact in services. This includes developing new projects, supporting volunteering, and leading on demonstrating Enable’s social impact in the 
community. Externally, you will develop relationships and partnerships with a wide range of voluntary and community organisations, corporate business and statutory organisations helping to link to Enable’s services and build capacity in the community.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Supporting Enable Services – working directly with each service to add capacity and expertise to develop and improve Enable’s community impact.   
• Social Value and Impact Measurements – leading the improvement of our social value and impact measurement work, in particular how our services measure impact, using different data collection techniques and developing regular case studies. 
• Developing data capturing techniques to regularly record data and track the organisations social value impact. 
• Volunteering – leading Enable’s volunteering offer including Enable’s staff volunteering programme, Community Enablers. In addition to increase volunteering opportunities across each service including the creation of volunteer roles and being a key resource for centralised support for recruitment, training and volunteer reward and recognition. 
• Community Engagement – developing relationships with local voluntary community sector organisations and understanding local need, challenges and inequalities.

About the role 

We’re looking for a proactive Project Manager to help deliver key strategic projects that support our mission and improve outcomes for the people and animals we support.

In this role, you’ll support the Senior Leadership Team and report into the PMO Manager in developing, testing and implementing projects within the PDSA pipeline. • Proven track record of delivering business change and technical initiatives while effectively managing multiple workstreams and projects
• Comprehensive understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of our Community Services; ensuring they

Background to the role

The post has been vacant since October, since then we’ve undertaken a review of our community team
and our current community delivery – it’s important we get these things right if we are to deliver our

lead on delivering.

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join the team as a Senior Operations Manager. As the Senior Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Area Manager and be responsible for and accountable for the delivery and development of services across the region.

You will deputise for the Area Manager across all services and be accountable for agreed elements of the contract review and monitoring processes. You will also develop, implement and manage strategic work and specific projects across the region and will need a good mix of skills to enable them to plan, organise and innovate.

You will have a proven track record of Operational Management preferably within a voluntary sector agency and with some experience of the criminal justice system and the journey of victims of crime.

This role involves regular travel throughout Yorkshire and the Humber from a home base and due to this, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. To be successful in this role, tt is essential that you;

• have experience and knowledge of the voluntary sector and statutory agencies particularly within the criminal justice, health and social care sectors
• have knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and other regulatory requirements
• can show a track record of delivery of services similar in nature of those within Victim Support or a comparable agency
• are an experienced leader with excellent leadership and management skills including experience of managing change and processes across multi-functional teams
• are able to provide analysis and interpretation of data and reporting on findings
• have the ability to work with partners and build positive relationships at operational an strategic levels
• have the ability to manage proactively, innovatively and effectively securing high levels of performance, motivation and teamwork
• have the ability to manage a demanding workload and balance priorities
• can provide leadership, communications and actions that will exemplify the organisation's values

Royal British Veterans Enterprise (RBVE) is a national charity that has been helping those in need for over 100 years, providing support to the Armed Forces community, those with disabilities and those who have found themselves unemployed.

The South Willesborough & Newtown Community Association is a long-established community charity which runs the Swan Community Centre in South Willesborough, Ashford. 

We are seeking a part-time (15 hours per week - £11,700pa) Community Engagement & Development Coordinator to strengthen community connections, build partnerships, and expand the Swan Centre’s local impact.

This is primarily a community-facing development role. The postholder will:

* Engage with local residents, community groups and agencies to understand need

* Develop new opportunities for community use of the Swan Centre

* Recruit, support and develop volunteers

* Contribute to shaping the Centre’s future direction

A key strand of the role will be leading the development of the Cygnet Community Café as part of a wider community engagement strategy. This will involve consulting on the café’s purpose and offer, establishing appropriate systems and compliance, and ensuring it operates as an inclusive, welcoming space that supports social connection.

You will be the sole staff member dedicated to this area of work. The role requires confidence working independently within a small charity setting, strong organisational skills, and the ability to combine strategic thinking with practical delivery.

This is a flexible 15-hour per week role. Exact hours weill be agreed on appointment. Much of the work will involve being in the Centre or consulting with people in the community, so although the desk work can be done remotely there will be a requirement to be on-site for a some of the working week, especially once the cafe is in development and opened. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in community engagement, volunteer coordination or grassroots development work. Experience in food service or community cafés would be beneficial but is not essential. The post is initially funded for 12 months by The National Lottery Community Fund and we will seek to attract further funding.
