Location: The contract for the role is London-based – it means that while you can be working anywhere in the UK, you are responsible for the cost of your travel to the London-based office. On a regular basis we ask everyone to be in the office once a month for team day and every other month for Finance and Resources Team Day. Other meetings will happen that will also require in-person presence, but we can’t specify now how frequent they might be.

About the role
 
Missing People offers an inspiring programme of events and challenges throughout the year to engage our community and supporters to raise vital funds for our important work. In this exciting role you will be responsible for organising activities that significantly grow the numbers of people getting involved in events and fundraising activities in line with plans. You will be the point of contact and provide excellent stewardship to those brilliant supporters. This will include working sensitively with people with experience of the cause, often to do something positive ‘in hope’ of a missing loved one, and actively inspiring more of them to do so. You will deliver events and community fundraising activity, contributing to budgeting and reporting, organising marketing and promotion activity to meet supporter recruitment targets, delivering supporter journeys to meet fundraising targets, and ensuring that our supporters have the best possible experience, and feel valued and know the next great way to support them

• Create marketing briefs and work with the Marketing team to ensure events are marketed and delivered in line with plans
• Optimise digital fundraising for challenge events and community fundraising
• Support the recruitment of supporters through marketing and promotion to participate in challenge events and other fundraisers.
• Work directly with supporters to help them develop their own fundraising ideas – this will sometimes involve working with people with lived experience of the cause.
• Represent the charity at external events and ensure supporters, their families/friends and volunteers enjoy an excellent experience

About this Internship

The Youth-Led Digital Campaigns Internship role is a twelve-month paid internship beginning in March 2026.

The Jack Petchey Internship development programme is designed for young people who are leaving further or higher education and starting out in the youth/charity sector - or young people who are looking to transfer into, or take their next career step in, the youth/charity sector.

The funding provides support to young people in London and Essex. We would therefore expect applicants to have a strong connection with London and ideally be currently living in or close to Croydon where our work is located.

Main purpose of this role:

We are looking for someone creative, confident and passionate about empowering young people. You will play a hands-on role in both the delivery and development of digital and media-based opportunities for young people, while helping to shape and deliver Reaching Higher’s youth-led digital fundraising and media strategy.

This internship will give you the chance to gain valuable experience across media, marketing, and youth work-alongside training, mentoring, and networking opportunities with other interns from youth organisations across London and Essex.

We are looking for applicants with some experience in the youth work sector (this could be in a voluntary capacity). We are seeking to recruit to a brand-new post and are looking for an experienced and passionate full‑time Programme Manager (Live Well) to lead the delivery of our VCSE‑led Live Well infrastructure in Salford. 

In this role, you will support organisations across Salford to develop high‑quality Live Well Centres and Spaces, ensuring strong partnerships are built and delivery partners are managed in a clear, transparent and collaborative way. A key part of the role will be ensuring that all delivery aligns with the expectations set out in the GM Live Well Hallmarks. You will also be responsible for ensuring the programme’s impact is clearly demonstrated through robust monitoring, high‑quality data collection and meaningful insight.

Greater Manchester Live Well is a broad cross‑system partnership with particularly strong involvement from GMCA, NHS Greater Manchester and the VCSE sector. 

Launched in 2021, it is a core Mayoral commitment and embedded in the Greater Manchester Strategy (2025–2035). The vision is that by 2030, residents will benefit from a connected, preventative and equitable system of support, delivered through:

• A network of integrated Live Well centres and spaces in every locality
• A universal “no wrong door” approach
• Recognition that the VCSE sector has a key role to play (with dedicated VCSE funding)

• A neighbourhood‑based Social Model of Health

Salford CVS is the lead VCSE sector partner and accountable body for the Live Well implementation fund in Salford, working with public sector partners to strengthen community wellbeing and ensure accessible, high‑quality support for our city’s residents.

As Programme Manager, you will lead a VCSE‑driven programme that is transforming how residents access help and support in Salford. You will maintain a clear overview of programme developments, partners and activities, acting as a key source of knowledge for Live Well locally. You will share information proactively, strengthen connections across the system and bring partners together to maximise the programme’s impact. 

Your work will also span all of Salford CVS’s full Live Well portfolio, including the Economic Activity Trailblazer delivered via the VCSE Elevate Salford partnership, the WorkWell offer through Wellbeing Matters (VCSE-led social prescribing), and any additional Live Well activity that Salford CVS leads or contributes to in the future. This will include our work with our 10GM partners on a large-scale GM National Lottery funded VCSE-led programme called Live Well – Places of Hope and Connection, which you will programme manage here in Salford.

We are looking for a temporary events officer for a passionate and collaborative disability charity. You will manage an agreed portfolio of fundraising events, taking place throughout the year. You will also provide high levels of supporter care.

This is hybrid role with 2 days a week in the London office and you will be needed until they recruit for the permanent role.

The Role
Lead on the delivery of a number of events from the agreed portfolio; both owned and third party events. Responsibilities to include researching an events feasibility, planning, marketing, recruiting participants, and evaluation. Providing high levels of supporter care and ensuring income and expenditure targets are met or exceeded for each event.
Where required, assist with developing business cases for new events, by following the established approval process, and evidencing your case with supporter-led insight, market research and financial and non-financial KPIs.
Work closely with colleagues in marketing, press and PR in producing and implementing a marketing and PR plan for all events within remit, including researching and developing publicity plans for individual events and contributing to the development of any printed materials, web content and social media.
Prepare and manage personal budgets, always looking for ways to increase income streams and decrease expenditure Manage relationships with internal,external suppliers, event providers and key stakeholders to ensure efficient event delivery and added value for participants.
Ensure that all challenge events are contracted, adhere to the law and that adequate health & safety measures are in place.
Supervise volunteers where necessary, both in the office and at events.
Work closely with colleagues on the development and implementation of a recruitment stewardship plan, including first contact, fulfilment, correspondence and administrative systems, to ensure maximum supporter satisfaction, income and retention.
Build long term relationships with supporters by creating a first class supporter experience, having regular contact through email, social media and telephone conversations.
Working with the Data team, implement communication plans for supporters to ensure that they are receiving the highest levels of support.

Community Rail Network is a not-for-profit organisation, working across Britain to support a growing ‘community rail’ movement. Community rail promotes sustainable and inclusive travel, coordinates volunteering and place-making projects, and brings people together. 

Community rail is made up of 77 community-based partnership organisations, 1,300 station friends volunteer groups, and other community-led initiatives around Britain. Responsibilities: 

You are principally responsible for supporting the delivery of a year-round programme of high quality, empowering training and development opportunities for our members. The programme will be delivered in line with inclusion and accessibility best practice, will be largely online with some face-to-face sessions and events.

• Work with the Training and Development Co-ordinator to agree a rolling programme of training that supports member organisation capabilities and their impact on communities. 

• Topics will largely include areas required to achieve accreditation (for CRP’s) as well as good community-based practice for other member types. This includes but is not limited to training to support members with skills in creating and prioritising activity plans, project management, how to apply for grants and funding (including our own grants funds), how to prepare for an accreditation meeting, designing good outcomes and demonstrating organisational impact (including impact reports and use of social media), community engagement, volunteer recruitment, and co-production techniques. 

• Work with the Training & Development Co-ordinator to ensure your own understanding of these topics is current and identifying areas for personal development to support our training offer to be more robust. 

• Work with colleagues in other teams to set up, administer and deliver (largely online) webinars, networking and showcase events, setting them up, researching and engaging speakers and collating case studies to use, sending invites, facilitating the presenters and discussion during the event, and collating and reporting on feedback to inform future sessions. 

• Support the T&D Co-ordinator, colleagues in the regional support team, and communications team, to promote training and networking sessions effectively. 

• Where directed ensure we maintain high-quality training partnerships and opportunities that members can be signposted to and be responsible for administering our bursary scheme.

• Regularly report on bursary expenditure, member feedback, attendance figures and any specific funder requirements. 

• Be responsible for supporting member organisations and colleagues to use our impact reporting platform and to keep up to date on any changes in how we record and demonstrate the social, economic and environmental impact of community rail. 

• Attend team and all staff meetings, online and in person, contributing to strategic shared areas of work, information sharing and workforce development activities. 

Skills and competencies: 

1. Understanding, and experience of running, online and in person training and networking sessions, ideally within a community or not-for-profit context; 
2. Knowledge of, and ability to share effectively, key skill areas for example, volunteering recruitment and support, project management, applying for funding, co-production techniques, community engagement best practice, demonstrating outcomes and impact. 
3. A proven ability to work collaboratively, develop and maintain productive partnerships and joint activities, and form professional networks internally and externally; 
4. Demonstrable ability to manage time and resources effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines; 
5. Excellent writing, communication and presentational skills, including the ability to develop and deliver audience-appropriate training materials, presentations and other content to professional and community audiences; 
6. IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the internet and social media; excellent administration skills and the ability to identify efficient and secure ways of working using AI; 
7. Awareness of social and sustainability issues and the relationship between transport and social and economic development.

The Research Officer will report to the Research Manager, work closely with the major gift team located in the UK, Canada, Australia and the United States, and gain first-hand knowledge and experience working as an in-house prospect research professional for a highly regarded educational charity.

The role will be responsible for;

· Providing a high-quality in-house prospect research service to the Development Team and senior leaders including the Warden (CEO) of the Trust, and Trustees, as required

· Contributing to the proactive identification of potential major donors and partners to the Rhodes Trust including alumni, individuals, foundations and corporates

· Delivering a pipeline of briefing materials for the Warden (CEO) and senior leadership team to support key fundraising and stakeholder meetings, events and overseas travel itineraries as requested

· Assisting with compiling and managing a portfolio of additional research materials and projects, including profiles, network mapping, philanthropy reports, and targeted analysis, as well as country-specific content to support the Trust’s fundraising efforts in different geographies

· Recording and managing prospect and stakeholder data using the Trust’s CRM database (Salesforce)

· Role modelling the Trust’s organisational values of commitment, inclusion, belonging, growth and innovation

· Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role, as requested

The role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive indivudal who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a small, dynamic and passionate team, alongside an extensive network of volunteers.  Working across all aspects of our administration, in support of our operational delivery, communications, fundraising and outreach. 

Key responsibilities:

• Programme administration, engaging directly in support of beneficiaries for onboarding, logistics and follow up, answering enquiries and general tasks.

• Customer service, responding to email and telephone enquiries and correspondence.

• CRM and data management, including managing donors, volunteers and a wide range of contacts and suppliers information.

• Virtual office support, arranging meetings and team events, providing secretariat to Trustee Board, office contracts, suppliers and administration.

• Completing research as requested, compiling and summarising information for drafting applications for grants and trusts, managing fundraising pipeline and tracking, reporting schedules and reports.

• Administration of social media accounts, support to drafts of newsletter and impact reports, and other communication initiatives.

• Event administration, including bookings, logistics and support to outreach.

Start date: Immediate

Location: We work remotely with 1-2 days in London per month at your own cost

Salary: £24-25,000

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced governance professional to join our Governance Team. This is an excellent opportunity to apply and expand your skills in an organisation with a rich and multifaceted governance structure, as both a charity and a membership body. You will join a small, supportive team that works closely with the President and Officers, Board of Trustees, Council, CEO, the Executive Team, and the College’s boards and committees.

Following a significant governance review and the introduction of an updated Charter, Ordinances and Regulations in 2023, this is an exciting time to play a central role in strengthening our governance frameworks.

As Governance Manager, you will deliver high‑quality, professional and compliant governance services across the College, ensuring we meet our statutory duties and apply best practice consistently.

You will work collaboratively with a second Governance Manager, sharing duties equitably and flexibly. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing an in‑depth understanding of the College’s governing documents, procedures and working practices, and advising Officers and colleagues on governance matters.
• Supporting the review and continual improvement of governance processes, procedures and policies.
• Providing comprehensive business support to the Board of Trustees, Council and Audit Committee, including agenda planning, preparation of papers and briefings, coordinating presentations, scheduling the cycle of business, and producing accurate minutes.
• Leading the delivery of College elections, ensuring they reflect best practice, uphold our values and enrich the College’s democratic processes.
• Taking a major role in planning and delivering the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs), including logistics, documentation, communications, data management, and liaison with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Leading on the development and ongoing maintenance of a governance cycle of business, including an annual meetings calendar that meets strategic and operational requirements.

Responsible for all Continuous Professional Development (CPD) resources and activity of the Royal College of Paramedics, The primary role of the National CPD Lead will be overall responsibility for all CPD delivered by the Royal College of Paramedics, including ensuring the quality of content across the current and future range of platforms, (including video, webinars, events, podcasting). 

The National CPD Lead is responsible for the efficient and effective management of specific pre-agreed workstreams aligned with realisation of the Royal College’s strategy objectives, this will require budget awareness along with supervision and management of team members. 

As a senior member the College team – the National CPD Lead will provide a leadership presenceacross the organisation, contributing to policy and planning, staff development and membershipengagement and growth. They will be an able, confident and competent communicator, engagingeffectively at all levels, from student members to the Royal College of Paramedics Board and Council to national partners and colleagues. 

The primary role of the National CPD Lead is to provide assurance, support and leadership in the provision of face to face and virtual CPD delivered by the College of Paramedics, including:

Your Mission

• Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Social Challenges Manager, the role will support day-to-day paid social delivery on Meta, using data, insight and testing to continuously improve results.

Responsibilities

Paid Social for Social Challenges (c.50% of role)

• Build, manage and optimise paid social campaigns on Meta to recruit participants into CALM’s Social Challenges.

• Translate campaign objectives into effective audience targeting, creative testing plans and budget allocation.

• Monitor performance daily, adjusting ads, audiences and spend to maximise lead volume, quality and cost-efficiency.

• Analyse campaign results, using platform data and internal insight to understand what’s driving high-value participants.

• Produce clear, actionable performance reports and recommendations for optimisation.

Campaign & Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to support digital marketing activity across the organisation, including paid and organic social.

• Partner with the Social Challenges Manager to understand audience motivations, challenge mechanics and supporter journeys.

• Collaborate with CALM’s studio team to brief, test and refine creative that performs and stays on-brand.

• Feed performance insight back into campaign planning, proposition development and supporter experience.

Testing, Learning & Optimisation

• Implement structured testing across creative, copy, audiences and formats to improve performance over time.

• Use learnings from each campaign to inform future challenges and evergreen activity.

• Keep up to date with changes to Meta advertising, tracking, privacy and best practice, flagging risks and opportunities early.

Wider Digital Support

• Support wider digital marketing activity as required, including other paid digital channels and acquisition campaigns.

• Provide day-to-day cover for the Digital Marketing Manager during periods of leave, ensuring paid social campaigns continue to run smoothly and effectively.

• Support delivery of core marketing activity as required, including organic social, campaign optimisation, and reporting.

• Provide practical cover for the Social Media Manager when needed, supporting scheduling, publishing and basic community management to maintain a consistent social presence.

• Work with content colleagues to support drafting and optimising web and social content. 

• Act as a reliable point of contact for digital marketing activity during absences, escalating issues appropriately. 

• Contribute to improving CALM’s use of data, attribution and performance insight across digital fundraising.
