We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our International Programmes Team on a permanent basis, working within our Asia region.

Overview

The Project Officer will be part of a regional team that works with new and existing partners to design, deliver and learn from projects in line with the organisation’s mission. The team supports the full project cycle: partner engagement, application review, due diligence, project design, contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and project closure, maintaining accurate records throughout, in close collaboration with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists).

The Project Officer will work collaboratively across the regional team, providing flexible support and surge capacity during peak periods and responding to emerging priorities as required. Under the supervision of Programme Managers and the Regional Director, they will also take day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of assigned partners and specific projects, ensuring timely progression from concept to completion and that documentation, compliance, quality assurance and learning requirements are met. This includes working with the Quality Team to integrate appropriate MEAL approaches, support data quality and ensure learning is captured and shared.
 

Key Responsibilities

·Project Identification and Evaluation

oIdentify and assess project concepts and proposals with assigned partners, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, feasibility, risk, safeguarding considerations and expected impact.

oContribute to emergency or rapid-response programming when required, including providing surge support to colleagues and helping to coordinate time-critical actions.

oSupport partner mapping and relationship management activities, helping to identify potential partners and project opportunities.

oUndertake contextual and partner due diligence research to inform project design, risk management and decision-making.

oPrepare high-quality proposals for internal review and project governance processes, including summaries of recommendations, risks and mitigation actions with the support of the Quality Team and in line with standards set by them.

·Grant Administration

oSupport Programme Managers and the Regional Director through the full project cycle, from initial scoping and proposal development through contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and closure.

oManage any individually assigned projects through the full project cycle, from initial scoping and proposal development through contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and closure.

oEnsure projects comply with organisational policies and procedures (including safeguarding and due diligence), and any relevant donor, statutory and partner requirements.

oEnsure the fulfilment of any actions mandated by the Programmes Subcommittee.

oTrack delivery against agreed plans, budgets and results frameworks; flag variances, support problem-solving with partners and colleagues, and recommend adjustments where needed.

oWork with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists) to agree proportionate MEAL plans for assigned projects (e.g., indicators, data sources, reporting schedules), and to strengthen quality assurance throughout implementation.

·Stakeholder Engagement

oAct as a key point of contact for assigned partners, working closely with Programme Managers and the wider regional team to coordinate support and decision-making.

oMaintain regular communication with partners to provide guidance throughout proposal development and implementation, including on reporting requirements, procurement expectations and agreed outputs/outcomes.

oCoordinate with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists) to support partner capacity strengthening on quality assurance and MEAL requirements, and to address quality or evidence gaps identified during implementation.

oDevelop familiarity with other organisations working in the Region and look for opportunities to collaborate with and learn from them.

·Budget Administration

oSupport sound financial management across the Regional Team and for assigned projects, including budget review, payment scheduling, verification of supporting documentation and reconciliation of expenditure against budgets.

oFor approved projects, ensure that all finance processes are completed to facilitate payments.

oPrepare clear updates and financial summaries for Programme Managers, the Regional Director and other internal stakeholders, maintaining an appropriate audit trail.

·Reporting and Documentation

oMaintain complete and accurate project documentation for assigned projects, including due diligence records, agreements, correspondence, partner reports and closure documents.

oMaintain project and partner information in relevant systems and trackers, producing reports and analysis as required.

oMonitor progress and results, review partner narrative and financial reports, support evaluations where appropriate, and ensure project learning is captured and shared within the team.

oWork with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists) to review project evidence, ensure data quality standards are met, and support evaluations, reviews and learning products as required.

oCoordinate meetings and follow-up actions (including agendas, minutes and action logs) to ensure decisions are recorded and progressed.

Person Requirement

Essential

·Experience in project administration or coordination, ideally in the charity, NGO or public sector.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of partners and stakeholders across different cultures and contexts.

·Proficiency in MS Office suite and comfort using online systems for project tracking and document management.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

·Strong attention to detail.

·Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly as part of a diverse, dispersed team.

·Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines under pressure.

·Familiarity with CRM or grant management systems (e.g. Salesforce)

Individual Giving Officer 

Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekend work 

Term: Six-month FTC, with possibility of extension 

Location: Loughborough Junction, London. Hybrid working, three days required in the office or at one of our hospital sites.

The Role

Our Individual Giving programme is central to our fundraising strategy to increase our unrestricted, sustainable income. This is a key role in supporting the Individual Giving Manager to recruit and steward donors across a range of channels including face-to-face, telemarketing, direct mail and digital. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple programmes including regular giving, lottery, cash appeals, in-memory and legacy, as well as to play a key role in our matched funding Christmas campaign. This role will help to meet or exceed our annual targets which will help us provide the best care for patients, staff and loved ones at our hospitals. 

Key Tasks 

• Help to co-ordinate our match funded Christmas Campaign 
• Using evidence-based insights, support with the planning and implementation of several integrated direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, social, display advertising and newsletters including managing suppliers on concept creation, oversight of copy and creative and delivery schedules. Work with the IG Manager on performance analysis and learnings to enable enhancements and improvements  
• Support the IG Manager in the set up and operational management of our face-to-face fundraising campaigns for regular donor and lottery player recruitment. Including invoice processing, complaint handling, site management and training for third party fundraising teams  
• Work with the other IG Officer to optimise and improve our regular giving and lottery stewardship journeys. This will include researching and proofing content, engaging with supporters and looking for opportunities to cross-sell 
• Being proactive in writing up process documents and maintaining documents for Individual Giving Team  
• Day-to-day point of contact with external agencies including face-to-face agencies, creative agencies, printers and fulfilment houses  
• To support the Head of Supporter Engagement with the development of a legacy marketing programme 
• Support with the stewardship of our in-memory donors, including donors who set up tribute pages on MuchLoved 
• Work with hospital staff and stakeholders to gather content, encourage fundraising and manage our contactless stations  
• Work with our Supporter Services Team to monitor and action all feedback, speaking with supporters over the phone and via email, and properly recording supporter interactions on our database 
• Work with the Fundraising Operations team to open fundraising post and log cash, card and cheque donations 
• Send out stewardship materials to supporters from the office 
• Support the C&E Manager with fundraising event and donor stewardship as required 
• Work with the Communications Team to develop internal messaging for the Charity and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust  
• Work with the Finance Team to process invoices and ensure activities are properly coded

Role Purpose

The Senior Individual Giving Officer is a crucial position within EIA’s Fundraising team, which contributes to the delivery of the individual giving strategy through acquiring and stewarding new supporters, leading our face to face fundraising and mass participation event programmes and legacy marketing and stewardship.

You will need to have demonstrable experience of delivering campaigns across individual giving products and channels, excellent written communication and analytical skills, and experience of creating engaging and inspiring online and offline direct marketing communications. 

Key areas of responsibility

New Supporter Acquisition: Face to Face fundraising

The Senior Individual Giving Officer will lead our new acquisition channel, face to face fundraising, to recruit new regular givers:

• Responsible for the end-to-end management of acquisition campaigns, from briefing internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, to developing creative and monitoring results and evaluating performance
• Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and on budget and meet the campaign KPIs
• Work with the Individual Giving Manager and Digital Implementation Officer to share content to feed into the bespoke supporter journeys for new supporters to increase engagement

Mass Participation Events

The Senior Individual Giving Officer will lead our growing mass participation events programme. Building on the success of testing during 2026, learning will be applied to further expand the event programme during 2027 and beyond:

• Develop and manage the annual event calendar to ensure there is a broad range of events that are targeted towards EIA supporters
• Responsible for all elements of supporter recruitment and stewardship from developing marketing materials, working with the Social Media and Digital Engagement Manager and the Digital team to recruit new supporters, setting up fundraising pages and stewarding supporters to meet their fundraising targets, through to evaluating performance and applying learnings to future events.

Supporter retention, development, and engagement

The Senior Individual Giving Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and inspiring supporter development activity and supporter journeys for individuals:

• Lead on creating the content and briefing suppliers for the supporter newsletter mailings which are sent out three times a year. 
• Plan, implement and evaluate digital and offline supporter-driven supporter journeys from all individual giving audiences, including appeals, face to face, mass digital, regular giving and the weekly lottery
• Work closely with the Individual Giving Manager, Supporter Services Officer and teams across the organisation (including the Communications and Campaign teams) to develop inspiring and targeted content and communications that increase engagement and lifetime value of supporters
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring and evaluating the success of supporter journeys
• Along with the Supporter Services Officer, be a key point of contact for supporters, ensuring that all supporters have a positive experience

Legacy Marketing and Stewardship

• Develop and deliver legacy marketing campaigns to acquire new legacy pledgers from our existing supporter base
• Take a key role in the engagement with the Remember a Charity consortium, and lead on the promotion of legacies during Remember a Charity Week
• Work with the Individual Giving Manager and the Communications team to ensure legacy messages are included in all relevant communications including appeals, supporter newsletters and Investigator magazine
• Responsible for all elements of legacy stewardship, from establishing engagement segmentation, to developing and delivering a legacy stewardship programme including bespoke communications, as well as on and offline events and webinars to maximise engagement and commitment from legacy pledgers
• Explore opportunities to recruit legacy pledgers from new audiences

Strategy development, budgeting and campaign reporting

• Work with the Head of Fundraising and Individual Giving Manager to develop fundraising strategy and annual plans
• Monitor income and expenditure of campaigns within your areas to ensure they meet budget and contribute to the mid-year reforecast process
• Produce regular campaign reports that monitor performance against KPIs and feed back to the Head of · of Fundraising and wider organisation to share successes with the EIA team

Hillside Clubhouse is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to join our dynamic Islington team, supporting people with mental health conditions to gain and retain employment.  The IPS Employment Specialists within the Islington IPS Service work within the nationally recognised IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model within NHS secondary and primary care mental health teams, based in the heart of Islington.

Who We Are: 

Hillside Clubhouse is a co-produced mental health employment support charity working across Islington. We support people with mental health conditions into training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. People can access our services via our Clubhouse, where they can share their skills and expertise with others and support the running of the charity.  Alternatively, they can receive support out in the community from one of our Employment Specialists based within NHS mental health teams.

The Role: 

We are recruiting for one IPS Employment Specialist role within our Islington IPS Service. This position will be based within the North London NHS Foundation Trust mental health services in the borough of Islington.

As an IPS Employment Specialist, you’ll play an important role in supporting people with lived mental health experience on their recovery journey by supporting them back into paid employment. This is an opportunity to offer ongoing support, to motivate and provide people with hope, while developing the tools and skills required to recover – ultimately transforming their lives.

A variety of skills are needed in this post including but not limited to: a strong ability to develop empathy and rapport with clients; a determined approach to seeking out job opportunities; a person centric-approach to working with people; strong communications skills to motivate clients; strong administrative capabilities and an attention to detail engage with prospective employers via business development and face-to-face meetings, as well as to be able to challenge some perceptions around mental health. 

The postholder will be directly employed by Hillside Clubhouse but work under an Honorary Contract from the North London NHS Foundation Trust.  They will be managed directly by the IPS Operations Manager but work as team member within the clinical team. The role is dynamic and involves being integrated in a clinical team, working within the community, and we operate a flexible working policy where working from home is also permitted up to two days per week.

Overall Aim: 

To enable people with mental health issues to gain and sustain competitive employment by working within the evidence-based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.

Position Overview

As Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring financial sustainability across the Trust. Working closely with the CFO, you'll manage capital and revenue budgets, produce financial reports and statements, and lead the Finance Operations team of 4 staff. This position is central to maintaining robust financial controls, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with financial and legal obligations. You'll also build strong relationships with external stakeholders including banks, the DfE, and auditors, while identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency across the Trust.

Responsibilities 

· Manage and monitor capital and revenue budgets effectively

· Support the CFO in producing regular finance reports and budget packs

· Prepare financial statements including cash flow, income and balance sheets

· Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset reporting

· Maintain the Key Financial Controls Framework across the Trust

· Conduct fixed asset verifications and stock takes

· Manage financial risk and ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements 

· Proven experience managing budgets and financial controls in a similar role

· Knowledge of compliance requirements, ideally within education or public sector

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head of Communications is a senior role responsible for shaping and delivering Start Network’s communications strategy—externally and internally—to strengthen organisational influence, impact and coherence across all audiences. • Support the Grants Manager to deliver our evolving grants and capacity building provision to the youth sector; bringing together our work to ensure a streamlined offer

Job Description

As the Marketing & Communications Officer, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day delivery of our marketing and communications activity. Working alongside the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be part of a small, ambitious team that delivers high-quality marketing and communications with creativity, pace and purpose. Your primary focus will be creating engaging content, managing our digital channels and delivering campaigns that increase footfall and raise the profile of Cambridge Science Centre.

This role requires an agile, proactive generalist who enjoys turning ideas into action, taking ownership of everything from social media and web updates to print production, paid promotions and promotional events. Whilst the Marketing & Communications Manager leads longer-term strategic priorities, you'll work together to build the infrastructure that underpins a high-performing function, including asset libraries, streamlined workflows and efficient processes.

Your work will be fundamental to helping more people discover and engage repeatedly with Cambridge Science Centre. Key Responsibilities

1. Channel Management & Content Delivery

● Plan, create and schedule organic content to drive engagement on social channels, primarily Meta and LinkedIn

● Set up and monitor paid digital and social advertising campaigns, tracking growth metrics

● Keep the WordPress website up to date by refreshing copy, uploading news, and optimising pages

● Coordinate, write, and distribute email newsletters tailored to families, schools and corporate partners

● Maintain online and print placements to maximise reach and organisational awareness

● Support communications cascades, tracking and logging regional press, media and other profile-raising coverage

2. Campaign Execution & Production Coordination

● Execute advertising campaigns to maximise footfall at our Cambridge and Wisbech Centres during seasonal peaks and holidays

● Capture, edit and organise photo and video content to build media library

● Collaborate with internal delivery teams to identify opportunities that illustrate impact, working with stakeholders to form compelling content

● Design basic assets on Canva and liaise with external freelancers on advanced artwork/video

● Ensure marketing materials and content align with strategy and values, maintaining brand consistency and ensuring time and cost efficiency

● Manage the print pipeline of physical marketing assets (leaflets, banners, posters, flags etc), managing the process from design to delivery and maintaining quality and stock levels

3. Operational Infrastructure & Project Support

● Assist the Manager in researching, setting up, and rolling out processes and systems that ensure consistency and efficiency

● Organise and label media assets in compliance with necessary consent and GDPR requirements

● Provide communications and marketing support to delivery, programme, community and business support teams

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

● Experience: At least 2–3 years working in a marketing, communications, or digital content role with responsibility for advertising campaigns

● Copywriting: Excellent written communication skills, able to adapt tone across formats (website blogs, social media posts, emails) for diverse audiences

● Social Media: Hands-on experience managing social media channels with a focus on authentic, human-centric engagement

● Digital Tools: Experience running paid social media ads and executing segmented email marketing campaigns

● Platform literacy: Comfortable using WordPress (CMS) and basic design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

● Data & Analytics: Familiarity with Google Analytics or social media native insights to interpret campaign performance

● Organisation: Exceptionally organised, flexible, and comfortable prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment

● Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with internal colleagues, external freelancers and corporate partners

● Approach: Personable and energetic with a genuine enthusiasm for people and community engagement and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

● DBS: Able to achieve a satisfactory enhanced DBS check

Desirable Criteria

● Education/Training: Formally trained in marketing with a solid understanding of core principles and best practices across digital and traditional channels

● Sector knowledge: Experience working within a registered charity, educational setting or visitor attraction

● Multi-media Skills: Basic video editing experience using tools like CapCut, iMovie or similar mobile/desktop video software

● Brand Consistency: Experience in brand management, ensuring consistency of tone, visual identity, and messaging across all communications and platforms

● Design Layout: Trained or experienced in design layout, with the ability to create visually engaging materials that align with brand guidelines and communicate key messages effectively

● Budgeting & Efficiency: Comfortable working within set budgets and developing processes for increased productivity and cost / time efficiency

● Local Network: Knowledge of the East of England regional media landscape and community networks

● STEM Interest: A genuine interest, passion or curiosity in science, STEM education and interest in staying informed about global developments in science, technology, engineering, and maths

● File Management: Experience with organising digital assets using file management systems or shared project drives

● Working with Freelancers: Experience in creating design briefs and liaising - from concept to final delivery - with third party suppliers on production of videos, printed assets or other collateral

Are you an experienced governance professional with a strong charity background? We're working with a respected UK charity to recruit an experienced Head of Governance & Company Secretary to provide strategic governance leadership and ensure the organisation continues to meet the highest standards of compliance and best practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation on a flexible, part-time basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

The Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you'll lead the organisation's governance function, providing expert advice to Trustees, the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. You'll ensure effective board operations, maintain compliance with charity and company law, and support the ongoing development of governance frameworks and risk management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as Company Secretary and advising on governance best practice.

• Supporting Trustee meetings, including agenda planning, board papers and minute taking.

• Ensuring compliance with the Charity Commission, Companies House and relevant UK charity regulations.

• Maintaining statutory records and governance policies.

• Managing and developing the organisation's governance framework and risk register.

• Providing governance and project support to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

• Supporting board development, trustee induction and governance improvements.

• Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes, ensuring the organisation remains compliant.

About You

• Proven Company Secretary and governance experience within the charity sector.

• Strong knowledge of Charity Commission requirements, charity law and governance frameworks.

• Experience supporting Boards of Trustees and senior leadership teams.
