About the role
We are looking for a passionate individual who will support individuals with health conditions to move into and sustain meaningful employment through the Connect to Work programme.
We’re looking for an Employment Specialist to support the delivery of our Connect to Work programme. You’ll use the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) model to provide person‑centred IAG support to a caseload of around 25 clients, helping them move into and sustain meaningful employment.
You’ll build strong employer relationships to source suitable vacancies and work closely with partners including health providers, mental health services, JCP, and other employment organisations to ensure joined‑up support.

About the Role
We're looking for a Caretaker to join our team based in Bermondsey. You will support the team to ensure our properties are maintained to a high standard by carrying out a variety of tasks including cleaning and handy person duties. You will deliver a professional, customer service focused service to ensure our properties are safe and work towards our good homes standard.
You will join our new Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP).The service supports residents who have recently been released from prison who move into our residential accommodation. We support them in their journey to reintegrate into the community, helping to reduce reoffending rates post release. You will play a vital role in supporting our residents to rebuild their lives, communities, and provide opportunities for them to do this.
Responsibilities Include:
- Clean buildings and rooms including end of tenancy deep cleans
- Keeping garden soil and refuse clear of damp courses and air bricks
- Prepare accommodation for new occupants
- Carry out basic repairs and maintenance which could include furniture upkeep, gardening, replacing bulbs, painting and decorating
- Work closely with teams to carry out risk assessments
- Work with external partners for further repair tasks
About You
We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in Caretaking and has an understanding of health, safety, and environment, with the ability to apply this practically to a residential service. You will be able to take ownership of your role and projects, and can work independently as well as part of a team. You will understand the needs of our residents and able to work flexibly to meet tailored needs for our residents and staff.
- Proven appropriate experience in a similar role, this can include housekeeping, cleaning, or handyperson work
- Proactive nature, with the ability to make decisions and use initiative to provide logical solutions, taking ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral including relationship building
- Attention to detail and quality, with high level of organisation skills
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment laws and practices in accommodation settings
- Understanding of the housing needs of people with multiple and complex needs

This is a part-time role for two days a week (0.4FTE), with flexibility about when the hours are worked. It's a hybrid role, working from home and from our office. You will report to our Head of finance. You will also work with all staff on financial matters including personal and credit card expenses, central and project income and expenditure, and processing of payroll by liaising with our external bureau.

Victim Support is seeking a committed and detail-focused Team Leader to help coordinate and maintain excellent support for witnesses within the busy Court environment at Teesside Magistrates Court in Middlesbrough. You will play a vital role in supporting our volunteers, and wider service ensuring witnesses receive timely, compassionate, and effective support throughout their justice journey.

About the Role
As the Team Leader - Witness Service (Court-Based), you will support the delivery of a high quality, safe, and consistent service for all witnesses attending court. You will:
- Lead the delivery of the Witness Service within the court, ensuring a high-quality, safe, and consistent service for all witnesses.
- Line-manage Deputy Team Leaders and volunteers, supporting recruitment, training, development, performance, and wellbeing.
- Oversee daily case allocations, ensuring witnesses receive timely assessments, tailored support, and appropriate referrals.
- Ensure accurate and compliant data entry, audits, reporting, and monitoring of KPIs and quality standards.
- Manage rotas, resource planning, and service coverage across the court cluster.
- Promote excellent communication across teams, facilitating team meetings and sharing learning.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local stakeholders, including statutory and voluntary partners.
- Foster an inclusive, trauma-informed, person-centred approach that recognises diverse needs and vulnerabilities.
- Provide leadership that champions continuous improvement and maintains the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of witnesses.
You will have:
- Strong understanding of the criminal justice system and the impact of crime on victims and witnesses.

Our Hospital Dementia Adviser provides vital support to people living with dementia during their hospital stay. You’ll work directly with individuals who have a dementia diagnosis and their families, helping them understand their situation, navigate hospital processes, and plan a safe and confident discharge home with the right support in place.
This is a hospital-based role that involves regular walking between wards and departments. You will work closely with the wider Local Services Team to ensure that people are smoothly connected to ongoing support in the community once they leave the hospital.
Although there is no direct personal or clinical care involved, this role is all about offering high-quality advice, guidance, and emotional support. You will collaborate with hospital staff, volunteers, and external partners to ensure that people affected by dementia receive the right information and feel supported throughout their journey.

We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in hull working 35 hours per week, on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027, working 8am - 4pm.
You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.

Health Consultant Role
This role is an essential part of CoramBAAF’s multi-disciplinary offer for CoramBAAF members, providing expertise, knowledge and experience of health practice and policy within Adoption, Kinship and Foster care. Key responsibilities include
- Providing leadership and direction in respect of CoramBAAF’s goal to promote positive health outcomes for care experienced children and young people including adopted children and children in kinship care.
- Developing policy and good practice guidance for health and social care professionals and services in a multi-disciplinary context.
- Facilitating the CoramBAAF Health Group and the Health Advisory Committee and ensure that the work of the health group continuously develops to meet the first two objectives.
- Working in partnership alongside the CoramBAAF’s existing health consultant
As a professional membership organisation CoramBAAF is responsible for delivering high quality research-based policy advice and briefing updates to its members and other relevant stakeholders, including central and local government. This role sits within the policy, research and development (PRD) team. The PRD team is led by the Managing Director of policy, research and development and consists of consultants who specialise in different forms of family placement from an interdisciplinary perspective including social work, legal, health and research. Core to the team’s role is the contribution to membership services and products, including publications, conferences, briefings, practice notes and forms. The team also convenes a number of advisory committees and special interest groups that support and feed into these primary functions.
