About the role

We are the leading kinship care charity supporting more than 15,000 kinship carers across England and Wales each year. We’re here for kinship carers – friends or family who step up to raise a child when their parents aren’t able to. They care for more than 141,000 children in England and Wales, double the number in foster care, but feel isolated and need help. By supporting, advising and informing kinship carers, and campaigning together for fairer services, we are changing lives and changing the system. 

Kinship’s peer support and community work, supported by Department for Education funding, helps kinship carers feel connected, less isolated and better supported by building local, carer-led peer support groups and strengthening wider community networks. 

Our delivery model prioritises proactive outreach and sustainable growth through a volunteer model. 

The team works in communities to bring kinship carers together, support and train volunteer group leaders, and grow groups to a point where they are sustainable and independent (ideally within 6 months). Sustainable means able to thrive without direct staff involvement or attendance. A central ‘Hub’ team then provides ongoing remote support, training and connection. 

This role provides the operational grip to plan, deliver and continuously improve this work, while evidencing impact through robust data monitoring, reporting and clear storytelling.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accountable for the set-up, growth and transition of peer support groups to independence supported by the Hub, using clear milestones and support plans. 

• Responsible for ensuring volunteer group leaders have high-quality training, guidance and ongoing coaching to deliver safe, supportive peer spaces. 

• Responsible for embedding strengths-based, trauma-informed approaches and clear boundaries across all peer support activity. 
• Responsible for managing external delivery partners or commissioned provision to support growth in specific communities, ensuring quality and delivery to agreed standards. 
• Accountable for the identification and nurture of new group leaders and volunteers, ensuring groups are welcoming, accessible and inclusive. 
• Accountable for ensuring a proactive outreach approach that builds relationships with kinship carers and local partners, prioritising under-served areas and communities, ensuring that learning is captured and shared across the team to build further confidence and competence in supporting under-served communities (minoritised ethnic kinship carers).

Essential requirements include:

• Experience leading peer support, community development, volunteering or relational support services at scale. 
• Experience of project management.
• Experience of evaluating the impact of services and projects. 
• Proven track record of growing and sustaining community-based groups or networks, including supporting leaders and volunteers to independence. 
• Experience embedding strengths-based, trauma-informed approaches, with clear boundaries, risk management and inclusive practice.

Job Title: Programme Funding Administrator 

Contract Type: 6 month fixed term (with the possibility of extending) 

Location: Hybrid WeWork Kings Cross office (minimum 3 days a week) / remote working (up to 2 days a week)

Salary: £30,500 (London Living Wage) 

Working Hours: Full time 40 (we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours, flexible start and finish times, or compressed hours) 

Role Purpose

The Programme Funding Assistant has four core functions:

1. Provide administrative support across a portfolio of income generation streams - Assist in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships and fundraising relationships, support the development of funding applications, managing donor requirements, reporting to donors, and analysing data.
2. Coordinate TASC’s granting programme - Managing all tasks associated with the annual granting cycle including communication to grantees, including identifying new grantees, supporting the contracting process and supporting the development of the Annual Impact Report. 
3. Provide administrative and research support across TASC’s programme portfolio (Illicit Trade, Education and Responsible Business)
4. General administrative support including TASC’s CRM system

Position in the organisation

• Reports to the CEO but works across all programme pillars to support effective fundraising and granting processes. 

Key Relationships

• Internal relationships - TASC team, consultants, contractors
• External relationships - Donors, grantee organisations

Main Responsabilities 

Will include, but are not limited to:

1. Grant and Donor Administration (50%) 

• Coordination of a portfolio of 5 and 6-figure donors or grantors, with oversight and support from the CEO, securing repeat donations and increasing support where possible
• Administration of existing grants, ensuring that terms are adhered to and reporting processes are managed effectively
• Administration of donor communications
• Support the development of proposals in line with the objectives and guidelines of the prospective grantor outlining why funding is needed, how the project will positively impact beneficiaries, and how the funds will be allocated and managed throughout the project
• Prospecting and researching all donor types (including major donors, corporates, and trusts and foundations) that have aligned priorities
• Lead the donor engagement calendar, including drafting communications and touch points to key donors throughout the year 

2. Granting (20%) 

• Supporting the drafting and processing of all contracts at the annual granting phase
• Coordinating communications to grantee organisations
• Administering the grantee reporting process
• Managing the collation of partner reports and support the drafting the Annual Impact report for the programme

3.Programmes (Illicit Trade, Education, and Responsible Business) (20%) 

• Undertake research across programme workstreams
• Support in the organisation and coordination of events both in the UK and internationally, this could include venue booking, guestlist coordination and liaising with vendors
• Monitor news reports related to forced labour in business supply chains and other programme areas 

4. General administration and management of the CRM (10%) 

• Coordinate meetings and managing the team and CEO calendar
• Report internally on portfolio of relationships and prospects from the CRM, keeping the CRM and internal information management systems updated with records, contact, confidence levels and forecasted donations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Non-Medical Prescriber to join Change Grow Live Tower Hamlets Service. You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team delivering recovery orientated alcohol and drug intervention services.

Our NMP's are integral members of our multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams, delivering recovery orientated alcohol and drug intervention services. Offering care for presenting clients, prescribing and/or making amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications, they take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies around prescribing issues.

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 per week

Salary: £47,792.23 - £53,329.99 Dependent on experience (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)

Contract: Fixed Term until 1st October 2027 (with the potential to extend) 

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 per week. For part-time roles, salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role: 

• Assess, diagnose, plan; implement and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for service users. 
• Prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness appropriate to service user needs and in accordance with evidence-based practice and national and local protocols, and within scope of practice. 
• Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist the service user in complex, urgent or emergency situations seeking immediate advice and direction from the Clinical Lead if needed. 
• Assess, update, and refer service users for BBV vaccination and immunisation programmes. Support service users to adopt health promotion strategies that promote healthy lifestyles. 
• Communicate effectively with service users and carers, anticipating barriers to communication and recognising the need for alternative methods of communication to overcome different levels of understanding, cultural background and preferred ways of communicating. 
• Maintain effective communication within the organisational environment and with external stakeholders, acting as an advocate for service users and colleagues where necessary. 
• Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures. 
• Assess effectiveness of care delivery through self and peer review, benchmarking, and formal evaluation. Be actively involved in the annual appraisal system. 

About you: 

• Qualified pharmacist with current GPhC registration and two year’s post qualification experience OR First level registered nurse with a current PIN AND three years post qualification experience 
• Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber 
• At least one year’s relevant and recent experience of working within substance misuse treatment. 
• Sound and demonstrable knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions 
• Ability to assess and recovery plan service users and formulate written reports, as necessary. 
• Ability to communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing. 
• Full driving licence and access to own transport, or ability to demonstrate easy movement between services, if necessary

Support Services Officer – Rebuilding Futures Fund

Location: Hybrid

Are you a motivated, forward-thinking person with the ability to provide high quality administrative support?

We are looking for a Support Services Officer to work alongside our nurse team to provide administrative support, with a particular focus on managing financial assistance delivered through the Rebuilding Futures Fund.

As a centre of expertise for after-care and support, we have established a successful Rebuilding Futures Fund (RFF), providing financial, practical and emotional support to people of all ages affected by meningitis across the UK.

About the Job

This role includes a wide range of administrative tasks – working with financial systems, maintaining accurate database records, coordinating the ordering of goods and services, and liaising with a variety of stakeholders. You will also communicate directly with individuals and families who have been impacted by meningitis. We are looking for someone who is organised, detail oriented, flexible, and able to demonstrate empathy and compassion for those we support.

Administration:

• Act as the primary point of contact for RFF-related work, both internally and externally, liaising with the nurse team regarding decisions and agreed actions.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Information and Support Team across all areas of service delivery.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the RFF, including creating and refining processes and procedures.
• Process all RFF applications, including conducting initial assessments.
• Coordinate the ongoing distribution and monitoring of financial awards.
• Support the marketing and promotion of the RFF, including maintaining website content and developing case studies.
• Prepare financial and activity reports in advance of monthly RFF panel meetings.
• Organise and attend monthly panel meetings and produce accurate minutes.
• Conduct desk research and gather information to support the ongoing development of the Rebuilding Futures Fund.
• Ensure compliance with Meningitis Now policies and procedures, including data protection requirements.
• Carry out other administrative duties as requested by the Helpline and Information Manager.

Data Management:

• Follow detailed Salesforce processes and procedures to a high standard of accuracy.
• Produce data and reporting relating to the Rebuilding Futures Fund.
• Ensure accurate records are kept for all RFF activities in line with data protection policies.

Communication:

• Communicate sensitively and professionally with applicants, Therapists, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Liaise with the Support Team regarding application processing and supporter enquiries.
• Share regular updates across the wider organisation on RFF activity and outcomes.

The Organisation

Further Information

This is a full‑time post (35 hours per week). About the role

This is a key role within a busy service charge team, focused on delivering accurate and compliant service charge management across a large and varied portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

• Calculate and manage service charge estimates and final accounts
• Take ownership of end-to-end reconciliation processes
• Identify and resolve variances and unrecoverable costs with clear rationale
• Support delivery across a large portfolio covering approximately 100,000 homes

Conditions of Appointment: 

Salary Band: GB4

Salary: £24,060–£26,732.80 per annum (based on 28 hours per week).

Our flagship Crisis at Christmas appeal is a key moment in the year, and you will use it as a springboard to attract new donors and bring them into the wider movement. With a clear focus on lifetime value, you’ll attract the right audiences and ensure our acquisition activity is both cost-effective and supporter centred. Currently our acquisition programme consists of DRTV, Digital, Door Drop, Inserts and Face to Face fundraising.

You will lead a newly formed high-performing acquisition team of five and have the opportunity to shape the team’s strategy, ways of working and approach to acquisition at Crisis. You’ll work collaboratively across departments to ensure we deliver ambitious income targets while also strengthening sustainable income streams such as regular giving, legacy, and repeat giving. This role is crucial in building a balanced, future-focused fundraising portfolio that supports our ten-year strategy and helps end homelessness for good.

As a senior leader you will work flexibly across the Individual Giving portfolio — supporting both your own campaigns and the wider team’s objectives.
