Role overview

The postholder will help ensure that academic regulations, quality assurance processes, committee operations and student casework procedures are implemented consistently, fairly and effectively, in line with institutional policy, sector expectations and regulatory requirements.
This role will focus both on the monitoring of academic quality and standards to ensure they meet sector standards (e.g. the UK Quality Code and OfS sector recognised standards) and ensuring that academic casework and regulations are appropriately administered and handled in line with best practice through investigating, tracking and managing case work for academic appeals, complaints, fitness to practise and other academic policies and procedures. Responsibilities
- Handle incoming enquiries and provide accurate, timely and appropriate responses, briefing journalists in line with RCS England key messages and priorities.
