We are looking for a calm, resourceful and committed psychotherapist who has extensive experience in the field of mental health, to be our Clinical Director. They will work alongside of the Operations Director, in a co-leadership role in running the organisation and in supporting our aims of providing affordable counselling and psychotherapy to the local community. They will need to be able to look outward and liaise with other local mental health services, providers and funders and also to look inwards at the structure and health of our growing team of practitioners and the needs and requirements of our client group.
Phoenix Therapy Practice opened in April 2019 and is a not for profit, Community Interest Company. We offer a wide range of psychological therapies to clients seeking help with mild, moderate, and severe mental health problems. Our aim is to provide high quality counselling and therapy at an affordable cost depending upon the circumstances of each individual client. Our community of over 55 practitioners work together to enhance the development of the service and the inter-relationships within the organization, through regular business meetings, process groups and reflective groups. We operate from our two practices at 2 Osmond Road, Hove and 14 St George’s Place, Brighton. Our income comes via room rental and grants.
Purpose of Job: To work with the Operations Director in the Co-Leadership of Phoenix Therapy Practice in its provision of services and its strategic consolidation and development. To take clinical responsibility for the therapeutic practice of the organisation, to monitor the makeup of the practitioner team and trainees and to take on new people as required. To work with the referrals team in the management of all client services.
Hours: 15 hours per week to be organised as required across the week.
Working Location: From home with meetings on site as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic and Organisational Leadership
Work collaboratively with the Operations Director in the co-leadership of Phoenix Therapy Practice.
Meet with the Operations Director on a regular basis and liaise on all matters financial, strategic, clinical and general.
Work with the Board to report on all service provision and development.
Contribute to fund raising applications for low-cost therapy and writing feedback reports to funders.
Attend quarterly Board meetings, provide reports, and contribute to strategic planning.
Attend the bi-monthly business meeting (Saturday mornings).
Attend the quarterly process group (Saturday mornings).
Co- lead on Phoenix’s Anti-Racist strategy and work with all staff to maintain an inclusive working environment.
Oversee the makeup of the practitioner body and monitor requirements for additional resources. Interview and support new practitioners.
2. Clinical ( Clients)
To carry out initial consultations as required
To review all initial consultation reports and with the other members of the Referrals team, to allocate to the most appropriate practitioner.
To liaise with the Practice manager in dealing with queries from clients and allocation to therapy and any other clinical issues
To monitor the main email inbox and liaise directly with clients and practitioners regarding clinical issues, either by email or phone, when required.
To have an overview of Phoenix therapy groups and liaise with the practitioners who run them.
To deal with any concerns or complaints from users, being mindful of referral to the Board for consideration where needed.
To liaise with the Director of Operations in matters of safeguarding.
·To oversee all discharge summaries from practitioners and exit questionnaires from clients
3. Clinical ( Practitioners)
To review on a regular basis the makeup of the practitioner body and to identify any areas of need.
To consider all applications to join Phoenix, and to interview, with potential supervisors, and to obtain references and follow up.
To support practitioners, and to respond to concerns as appropriate.
To liaise with the supervisors of the student practitioners, on a regular basis.
To meet with the practitioners on placement after their 6 months probationary period and at the end of their placement, to review their position. Having first obtained reports from the supervisors.
To meet with graduate practitioners at the end of their year on the graduate scheme.
To step in, in the event of sudden practitioner departure due to illness or death, and to liaise with the clients as necessary.
To ensure that all practitioners carrying out initial consultations are apprised of the manner of doing these.

Key Responsibilities
Content & Channel Management

• Lead on testing and refining messaging with workers, allies and the wider public, including by leading and running workshops.
• Lead delivery of campaign moments and key dates ensuring worker voices are central and framing is consistent.
• Help identify, brief and support workers and messengers to share their experiences through media, events and public forums.
• Mobilise our base, allies and potential/moveable audiences around key policy opportunities, consultations and campaign moments, including public-facing activity aimed at growing WSC's movement of active supporters.
Stakeholder Engagement & Participation
• Help organise and deliver worker and ally events (e.g. seasonal in-person events, message-testing sessions and framing workshops) that help refine WSC's messaging.
• Build and maintain relationships with allies and coalition partners, including trade unions, human rights and housing organisations, food and farming networks, professional bodies and community organisations, supporting joint statements, shared briefings and coordinated campaign activity.
• Work collaboratively with policy, casework and operations colleagues to ensure communications and movement-building activity supports organisational priorities.
• Co-produce communications and campaign outputs with workers, including by attending worker power sessions, prioritising their voices, interests, concerns and ensuring safeguarding is central.
Administration, Monitoring & Oversight
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of WSC’s communications strategies, media coverage, and narrative change activities.

Each year, we reach around 35,000 children and young people through the delivery of our Financial Education Money Workshops in schools, colleges and community groups across the UK. About the roles
Since 2018, the LRU has grown its membership to over 7,000 renters across London. Through our six branches, we support renters to take action to transform the housing system. Organising in communities, the LRU runs training, facilitates peer support, takes collective action and campaigns on local issues, to grow our power.
The purpose of this role is to support the growth and collective leadership of our branch members in and around the Brent branch or the Newham branch. Responsibilities
People and Team Leadership
Line manage the Fundraising Manager, providing regular supervision, support, and performance development
Lead the planning and delivery of all-hands meetings and team development programmes, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
Maintain oversight of team resource mapping, ensuring capacity is well-managed across the organisation
Impact and Evaluation
Lead the design and ongoing development of Routes' impact evaluation framework, ensuring it captures meaningful data about the difference our work makes
Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of impact data throughout the year, using findings to inform programme development and organisational decision-making
Write and produce Routes' annual impact report, communicating our work and outcomes compellingly to funders, partners, and the wider sector
Income Generation
Support the Fundraising Manager with grant applications, funder relationships, and income generation activity as needed
Manage the sales pipeline for the mentoring programme, including prospecting, relationship development, and conversion of corporate and organisational clients
Source and manage CSR partnerships, building relationships with corporate partners and ensuring existing partnerships are well-stewarded
Operations
Lead on the creation, review, and approval of organisational policies, ensuring Routes' policies are up to date, legally compliant, and reflective of our values
Oversee day-to-day office administration and organisational housekeeping
Manage organisational insurance, ensuring appropriate cover is maintained and reviewed annually
Oversee staff IT, laptops, phones, and software subscriptions, including troubleshooting and managing supplier relationships
Draft and manage organisational contracts, including supplier, partner, and service agreements
Lead on the conversion of Routes from a CIC to a CIO, working with legal advisors, the board, and relevant statutory bodies to manage the process
Strategy
Contribute to the development and delivery of Routes' organisational strategy, bringing insight from your areas of responsibility
Lead on the development and implementation of Routes' income generation strategy, working closely with the Fundraising Manager and Co-CEO
Communications
Write thought leadership pieces for the Routes blog, contributing to Routes' voice and visibility in the sector
Leadership Development and Learning
Take ownership of your own professional development, using the annual training budget to attend relevant training, events, and sector learning opportunities that strengthen your contribution to Routes and the wider sector
There are some areas of responsibility that sit under the other Co-CEO, but we would expect the person in this role to maintain some oversight or involvement in to enable smooth co-working between the roles. These are:
Safeguarding: Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) when required, ensuring Routes meets its safeguarding obligations and that staff and volunteers are appropriately supported
Finance: Attend and contribute to monthly finance meetings, planned by other Co-CEO, maintaining a clear understanding of the organisation's financial position and flagging any concerns to the Co-CEO and board
Governance: Attend board meetings, providing updates on areas of responsibility and supporting the board to fulfil its governance function

Experience
Experience in a senior leadership role within the charity, social enterprise, or public sector
Demonstrable experience of managing and developing staff, with a coaching and supportive leadership style
Experience of income generation in a charity or social enterprise context, including either grant fundraising, corporate partnerships, or programme sales
Experience of designing or overseeing monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks and producing reports that communicate impact clearly
Experience of managing operational and governance responsibilities, including policy development and working with a board
Experience leading teams in challenging, fast-changing and resource-constrained environments

Role
CashBack Connections supports young people from across North and South Lanarkshire aged 10-16, who are at risk of involvement in antisocial behaviour and/ or offending. The Group Facilitators will help co-design the calendar of activities in collaboration with the young people to ensure their ideas and voices are the focus and drive for each session. You will be a positive role model supporting the children and young people to actively engage with the activity, feel safe and respected and build meaningful peer relationships. We’re looking for a Head of Communications who will combine communications expertise and an innovative approach to storytelling to engage hundreds of thousands of Europeans in meaningful action. This role reports to the Campaigns Director and has line management responsibilities.
You’ll work closely with our campaigns team and a social media manager to adapt and enhance campaigns through media, partnerships and content. This role works across multiple channels. You don’t need to be a tactical expert in all of them, but you need to be a strong strategic thinker who can carefully consider the role of each channel and asset. You will be as comfortable setting the strategic direction as you are delivering: pitching a story, briefing a journalist, running influencer outreach.
What you’ll do:
Advise on and support the development of our campaigns by creating and inputting into campaign narratives and communications plans
Work alongside campaigners and social media manager to oversee and/or produce complementary content that builds pressure on the target: reactive posts, video, and assets timed to campaign moments
Liaise with media contacts and external agencies to find appropriate opportunities to amplify our campaigns across European and national media
Build partnerships with influencers, creators, and independent activists to enhance the power and impact of our campaigns
Support the campaigns team to strengthen their storytelling skills and identify compelling storytelling opportunities in their partnerships, such as media hooks
Build and sustain contact with journalists, produce press releases and briefings, keep our media database accurate and current across our priority countries
Oversee and refresh our social media presence, line managing and coaching a social media manager.
Stay close to the news cycle and to what is working on social in order to identify moments that put our campaign in front of the people we need to move
Contribute to defining the success measures for communications, including social media KPIs, and oversee activity to meet them
Advise senior leadership on communications and reputational considerations, including crisis communications approach
Ensure consistency of messaging and tone across all public communications.
