About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in Bedford. The service provides an 11-bed short stay, trauma informed alternative to hospital admission and facilities, part of a wider integrated initiative for urgent and emergency care. You will support our residents who are at risk of admission but can be supported outside of mental health hospital settings, by providing tailored support to them to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals, to live more fulfilled lives and independent living.
With a focus on achieving outcomes in line with contractual requirements, while ensuring quality and consistency within a trauma informed, psychologically informed environment. You will deliver flexible, tailored, person centred support to help residents improve their quality of life, overcome challenges, and achieve personal goals. Using your communication skills, you will build trusting professional relationships, support residents to reintegrate into the community, and play a vital role in helping them rebuild their lives through personalised support plans, activities, and partnership working.

Some of the key areas we work in are emergency response, WASH, education, livelihood and environment conservation.
As part of our continued commitment to improve community relationships, deliver events nationwide and generate income for our humanitarian programmes, we are expanding our fundraising teams across the country and are looking for fundraising officers in Birmingham, London and Bradford/the North. These are performance-based roles and postholders will be expected to meet financial and other related targets.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Fundraising Officer/s will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, and executing all fundraising activities and initiatives. The role requires the development and implementation of strategies to maximise donations and enhance donor relationships, in alignment with Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy.
This position involves engagement with individual donors, businesses, and community partners to secure financial support for Islamic Help’s life-saving projects. Seeking an enthusiastic, proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children in the North East.
We are delighted to share this role on behalf of Bradford Grammar School who we at the Royal National Children's Springboard Foundation (RNCSF) are working alongside. We are seeking a term time only, Regional Coordinator to support the relationship between RNCSF and local schools in the North East to secure independent day and boarding school bursary placements and access to partnership activities for care experienced children (CEVC). The post holder will be involved in engaging school stakeholders by attracting suitable school partners and being a powerful advocate for the programme.
The successful candidate will need to use their excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders in Local Authorities and schools, ensuring the continued success of the “Broadening Educational Pathways” programme – a Department for Education programme delivered by RNCSF. As you will be responsible for all applications in your region it is also essential that you are organised and efficient, with superb time management skills.
You will be joining a dynamic, vibrant team of 8 Regional Coordinators who operate all over the country but who work closely together, via Teams, to support CEVC into bursary places in independent day and boarding schools. Our regional coordinators work out of a local host school (with some remote working possible). This position will be based at Bradford Grammar School. The role is for 2 days per week, term time only. You will need to be available for up to 10 ‘in person’ days, and some travel may be required for this (for which you will be reimbursed). You will report into the Head of Bursary Activity as part of the Programmes Team at RNCSF.
