Immediate Support Coordinator – Northwest Wales - Part-time 22.5 hours per week - Welsh speaker preferred
Context of Role
2wish support anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person
aged 25 and under. We are an All-Wales and part England charity providing immediate
casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative
therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.
The post holder will provide immediate and ongoing emotional and practical support to families
affected by the sudden and unexpected death of their child or young adult.
Main Duties
1.0. Service:
1.1: To initiate immediate support for a caseload of families whose children and young people aged 0-25
have died suddenly and unexpectedly across the region
1.2: To contact all families within 24-48 hours of the referrals by telephone
1.3: Complete an initial assessment of families' needs to identify and plan the support as required in line
with safeguarding and risk reduction
1.4: Offer emotional support and advice to a case load of families through home visits and ongoing
weekly telephone calls
1.5: To liaise with the Counselling Support and Outreach Coordinator, who is responsible for organising
formal support such as counselling, complementary therapy or play therapy, subject to consent from the
bereaved individual
1.6: To work with hospital staff, GP’s, police officers, coroner offices, mental health teams and other
healthcare professionals to raise awareness of and promote referrals into the charity
1.7: To liaise with other professionals working alongside the family to provide a holistic and multi-agency

1.9: To deliver awareness training in hospitals and other healthcare settings, schools and workplaces on

We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to run our small charity. This is a varied role, pivotal to the organisation, providing administrative support across registration services, finance, governance and communications.
You'll be confident managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records and using a range of digital systems. Your role covers everything; from supporting our registration process and maintaining our financial records, to updating website content and co-ordinating our pre-Council and Council meetings.
If you're an organised administrator with excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills and a positive, flexible approach, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Title:Programme Assistant
Reporting to: Senior Programme Lead
Location: North West
Salary: £23,514
Contract: Permanent, term-time only, full-time
Annual Leave: 50 days paid holiday each year which must be taken during school holiday
Power2 is a fast growing and energetic children and young people's charity that has supported 30,000 young people since 2001. We are based in the North West of England and London and deliver early-intervention asset-based programmes to children and young people who have mental wellbeing challenges and are disengaged from school and more widely. We are well-known for our accredited Teens and Toddlers programme and are supporting young people via Power2 Rediscover, an intensive 1:1 crisis response programme.

We are looking for Programme Assistants to support the management, set-up and smooth running of Power2 activities, including our Teens and Toddlers group programme.
Our new Programme Assistants will work as part of our team of Programme Leads and Programme Assistants working in school settings to support young people, their families, and school staff to ensure that at-risk pupils improve their wellbeing, make the most of their education, and improve their life chances. The successful candidates could be based in one school or travel between multiple schools.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check (child workforce) and provide details of two referees.

Do you want to play a crucial part in organising and facilitating our creative arts programmes? We are looking for a Creative Arts Lead Tutor to line manage our Creative Arts team and support the delivery of programmes including arts and crafts and textiles.

Your work will support our students to learn and express themselves using a variety of creative opportunities, from participating in Wandsworth Arts Fringe to working with artists or other creatives to broaden their knowledge and awareness of creative approaches to being well.
Main responsibilities
You'll lead our creative arts programmes across our various locations, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards
You’ll deliver textiles session to adults with a learning disability and autistic adults ensuring all sessions are inclusive
You'll develop a plan of activities for our creative arts programmes, working with your team, our Wellbeing team and the management team to determine activities that support our students' goals
You will line manage the Creative Arts staff, supporting the development of project objectives, conducting one-to-one and appraisal meetings, and reviewing and agreeing project resourcing
Who we’re looking for
You'll ideally have experience of working with adults with a learning disability and/or autistic adults in a learning or community environment
You’ll have experience of coordinating and planning for a range of activities, facilitating inclusive and adapted sessions to meet a variety of needs
You’ll have experience of leading, organising and contributing to the success of a small team

What you'll be doing
You will lead the development and delivery of innovative services that improve the lives of disabled children and their families through play, early intervention and inclusive practice. Working closely with families, healthcare professionals, education providers and community partners, you will identify emerging needs, drive service improvement and develop approaches that increase impact, reach and sustainability.
A key focus will be shaping the future of Newlife's play offer, including Community Play programmes, Play Pods and the development of new Early Years services. You will ensure services are informed by evidence, family insight and best practice in child development, inclusion and play.
