As Supporter Care Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our supporters, donors, members and the public, ensuring they have a positive experience. You will input data and use your IT skills to work with our database as well as Microsoft Office 365, predominantly Word, Outlook and Teams. You’ll have proven experience in a customer care role, handling a large volume of calls, and used to multi-tasking in a busy, fast paced office environment.

Job Summary for Events Fundraising Officer
We’re seeking an experienced Events Fundraising Officer to work on delivering our UK wide portfolio of challenge events. · Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure fundraising events are effectively promoted

Supporter care and stewardship

About Woman’s Trust
The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. Woman’s Trust is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. Our approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, empowering survivors on their journey to recovery from the trauma. We are committed to a positive, inclusive and equitable environment for our staff, service users and volunteers.
Alongside delivering our existing 1-1 counselling, self-development workshops and therapeutic support groups for women who have experienced domestic abuse, we are focused on developing our innovative mental health services for young women and girls, delivering new peer-led support groups and providing therapeutic groups to children and their mothers. We are also committed to developing further awareness-raising workshops and training for professionals, building on our research and policy to improve systems nationally.
Background
The lack of recognition of domestic abuse as a mental health issue within the NHS leads to delayed and inadequate support for survivors. This gap in understanding and response often result in survivors only being able to access and receive appropriate care when their mental health deteriorates to the point of requiring secondary mental health services (Women’s Aid 2021). Meta analysis suggests that CBT, one of the NHS’s most prescribed approaches for mental ill-health, is not the best approach for domestic abuse survivors as it does not recognise and take into account the external factors and dynamics of abuse, specifically power and control, the role of the perpetrator and the resulting trauma for the survivor.
In March 2025, WT published its first major report, ‘Living Without Hope’ which consolidates existing and increasing academic, government and sector research demonstrating the significant impact of domestic abuse on women’s mental health. Outlining the current agency responses at national, regional and local levels and the gaps in provision; the report also makes recommendations for change and improvement across the VAWG and health sectors.
Building on the research highlighted in our ‘Living Without Hope’ report, WT has secured funding to work with key stakeholders in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to examine the links between domestic abuse and mental health, the specific experiences of Arab and Moroccan women and their access to safe, appropriate services that meet their needs.
Purpose
This is an exciting new role and will be focused on developing Woman’s Trust’s (WT) response to addressing the systemic issues female survivors of domestic abuse face when trying to access support.
Working with key stakeholders in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (LBKC) and specifically Al-Hasniya to ensure that professionals have a clearer understanding of the link between domestic abuse and mental health and its impact on survivors.
Contract & hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Fixed term as dependant on funding.
Location: Woman’s Trust premises including co-location with statutory partners and community partnership locations.

Community Project Lead

IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of SEND law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Community Project Lead to join our team and lead the development of our advice services for under-served communities. This two-year, fixed-term role is a key part of our strategy to reach groups who may not traditionally engage with IPSEA’s support - including children and families with English as an additional language, cared-for children (children in care), migrant children, detained children, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
The project builds on a detailed scoping exercise we’ve recently completed, which involved working closely with a wide range of charities and organisations that support these communities. The resulting report outlines the barriers they face, and will form the foundation for this project and directly inform the work you will lead.

Role purpose
In this new role, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the Policy, Research and Consultancy team’s evidence base and enhance our capacity to generate meaningful insights. Key responsibilities
- Data analysis and insight
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyse datasets using both traditional analytical methods and AI-enabled tools to support policy, research, impact, and consultancy activities.
- Develop clear, compelling insights, leveraging machine learning techniques and predictive analytics, to strengthen the organisation’s evidence base and inform decision-making.

Your Role:
You'll apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges – working alongside experienced Customer Experience professionals whilst gaining insight into tenant scrutiny, complaints trends, and service design. You'll develop a first-hand appreciation of how our Customer Insight team uses feedback to explore themes and outcomes that improve services — directly benefiting colleagues and tenants.
Your day to day will see you:
- Supporting communication with tenants through various channels to promote engagement and scrutiny opportunities.
- Assisting in the organisation of tenant meetings, ensuring accurate records are kept and actions are tracked to completion.
- Helping coordinate "deep dive" activities by collating data and analysing findings related to customer satisfaction and complaint trends.
- Contributing to the preparation of case studies and presentation materials that explore service improvement opportunities.
- Researching best practices in the housing sector and beyond to help improve how we handle complaints and engage with our communities.
What we're looking for:
- Currently studying (or recently completed) a degree in Social Policy, Business Management, Psychology, or another related discipline.
- Strong organisational skills and an interest in how customer feedback can drive business change.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse range of stakeholders and tenants.
- An analytical mind with the ability to research information and summarise findings effectively.
- Enthusiasm, openness to feedback, and a genuine desire to learn.

The Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) is the learned society and professional body for geography and geographers. It is also a charity and a membership organisation. The Society was founded in 1830 and has been one of the most active of the learned societies ever since. It was pivotal in establishing geography as a teaching and research discipline in British universities and continues to play a key role in geographical and environmental education.
About You and the Role
The Front of House Receptionist will help deliver the provision of an efficient and welcoming service as the first point of contact with the Society, together with other administrative duties in support of the Facilities teams operation of the premises and the efficient use of its rooms.
More than 150,000 visitors come through the Society’s doors each year to enjoy both the Society’s own resources and activities, and the events of a wide variety of not for profit and commercial organisations who hire the 750 seat Ondaatje Theatre and other of the Society’s fine rooms. The Front of House Receptionist is the vital first point of contact for callers, visitors, members, staff, and tenants, as well as undertaking administrative duties in support of the Facilities team operation of the premises and the efficient use of its rooms.
The Front of House Receptionists work as a flexible team. They complement each other and support the wider team in both event management and operation. The post requires a broad knowledge of the Society’s activities in general, plus a more detailed understanding of the work handled by the various departments of the Society, and its tenants. Close attention to the weekly programme of activities is critical, together with awareness of unpublicised activities and of future events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception
- Ensuring that Reception is always staffed between 9.00am and 5:30pm on weekdays, in conjunction with the fellow Front of House Receptionist on duty and other members of the Facilities team.
- Receiving visitors to the Society arriving at Reception, ensuring that security procedures are followed, and directing them as necessary to the appropriate rooms. Assisting visitors with enquiries and requests; calling on the appropriate members of staff when necessary.
- Event support
- Supporting Society and external events outside of normal working hours involving either early morning starts or late evening finishes. Duties will include welcoming and supporting external event organisers to ensure that the Society delivers a high quality of service to its customers. Overtime will be paid for these additional hours, and sufficient notice will be provided
- Handling of enquiries and recording bookings for the Society’s own meetings and events on the events database.
- Switchboard
- Operating the telephone switchboard, receiving, and disseminating calls helpfully, quickly, and efficiently.
- Administration
- Recording new staff, tenants, and volunteers onto all relevant contact lists.
- Ensuring that the Society’s Safety Policy is read and understood, and all relevant contact details are recorded on the contact database.
- Post duties
- Sorting and franking the external post in an accurate and timely manner for the daily collection.
- Managing the franking machine via the supplier to ensure the unit is supplied with sufficient credit, supplies and the ordering of supplies
- Other
- Act as First Aider. Training will be provided. Dealing with First Aid incidents. Deputising for the building First Aid Coordinator to always ensure an adequate corps of certified First Aiders, liaising on training and maintaining first aid kits throughout the building including the reordering of supplies.
- Act as Fire Warden. Training will be provided. Deputising for the Fire Incident Coordinator to always ensure an adequate corps of certified Fire Wardens. Undertaking weekly building checks ensuring compliance with fire safety.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full time, permanent contract. The salary range for this post is £27,675-£28,550 per annum, pro rata depending on experience and qualifications. The post is based in Kensington, London.
