Role Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic, operational and values-led leadership for Home-Start Norfolk, ensuring the charity delivers its mission, supports its families effectively and remains financially sustainable. Role Overview
The Governance Administration Officer will be an integral member of the Trust’s Governance and Administration Team, supporting the Governance & Compliance Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of governance and compliance activities of the Trust as well as providing administration support to the wider team alongside other administration staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Governance
1. Provide administrative support to enable effective management of The Road Safety Trust’s Governance and Compliance activities.
2. Support co-ordination of RST Board and Committees. This may include timely preparing meeting packs, taking minutes, following up actions and organising logistics for virtual and physical meetings.
3. Maintain accurate Governance and Compliance registers e.g. conflicts of interest, skills matrices, Terms of Office records and end of year governance documents, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
4. To ensure documentation in relation to RST Trustees is maintained appropriately.
5. Support Trustee recruitment and induction, coordinate Trustee training, and regulatory reporting.
6. Co-ordinate and monitor Policies and Procedures reviews and maintain the Policies register.
7. Provide support for the internal audit programme, coordinating audit meetings, compiling documentation and assisting with actions and reports.
8. Support risk management information, including risk registers other compliance activities.
9. Provide support for Board and Committee reports and dashboards to demonstrate progress against key actions and service delivery at RST.
10. Support the preparation of the annual report and organisation of the AGM.
Administration
11. Use Microsoft Office, HR, Finance Systems to ensure RST policies and processes are adhered to.

1. Support and line manage the team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans to ensure excellence in programme funding, development and delivery.

We are recruiting an Investment Manager – Portfolio to take a leading role in the delivery of our existing portfolio including on special situations and exits.
You will take ownership of performance and manager relationships across a broad portfolio of social impact investments. You will build relationships with senior leaders at our fund managers and take responsibility for how these investments perform against their financial, social impact and systems change goals. You will also oversee several treasury holdings, held for financial return and sustainable outcomes, that support how we manage liquidity.

Every successful bid helps GamCare secure the public-sector contracts and funding needed to keep vital gambling harms support services running and to reach more people who need help. We are now seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead and strengthen our bid function at a pivotal moment, as gambling support in Great Britain moves to a new statutory commissioning model.
GamCare is the leading provider of information, advice and support for people affected by gambling harms. We deliver the 24/7 National Gambling Helpline, treatment services, prevention programmes and targeted community support across Great Britain. With new opportunities commissioned through bodies including NHS England, OHID, Integrated Care Boards and Local Authorities, this role will help us demonstrate our impact, grow our reach and keep essential support available.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will manage the full tender process, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to submission, review and mobilisation support. Working with senior leaders, service teams, Finance, Data, Marketing and external partners, you will write and coordinate persuasive, compliant bids, develop clear win themes, and turn complex service models and evidence into compelling funder-focused narratives.
We are looking for an experienced bid or tender professional who can help GamCare compete confidently in a statutory commissioning environment, with a strong track record of writing and managing successful public-sector submissions. You will bring excellent writing and editing skills, strong project management, confidence working with internal experts and external partners, and a good understanding of public procurement. Experience of statutory tenders, NHS or Local Authority commissioning, health or social care, public-sector frameworks, social value, financial modelling or gambling harms would be helpful.

THE ROLE

Role Overview

Role description

Support the development and maintenance of Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) where required.
Liaise with Workspace to ensure landlord responsibilities relating to health and safety are fulfilled, including fire safety systems, signage and equipment maintenance.
Maintain records of accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring statutory reporting requirements are met where appropriate.
Coordinate the maintenance and servicing of Groundswell's office equipment, facilities and assets, ensuring they remain safe, functional and fit for purpose.
Work closely with the Director of Finance & Fundraising and our external systems and finance support on matters around onsite assets and finances.
IT and Systems
Oversee the day-to-day management of organisational assets, ensuring equipment is maintained, used appropriately and complies with organisational policies and cyber security requirements.
Complete IT trouble shooting on behalf of staff and volunteers, with external support.
Order IT equipment as needed with external support.
Complete basic set – up tasks on staff and volunteer devices with external support.
Support staff and volunteers to upskill and improve their technological skills through the digital inclusion group.
Organisational administration
Provide administrative support for organisational meetings, events and activities, including venue bookings, catering, logistics and preparation of materials.
Support the Chief Executive in implementing GDPR and data management processes, ensuring good administrative practice and compliance across the organisation.
Provide governance administration, including scheduling Board and Committee meetings, preparing meeting logistics, taking accurate minutes and maintaining action logs.
Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive, Trustees and Senior Leadership Team, including diary coordination, meeting arrangements and room bookings.
Support the recruitment and induction of Trustees as required by the Nominations Working Group.
Support the People Manager with the onboarding and off-boarding of staff.
General
Maintain accurate administrative systems, records and filing, ensuring information is organised, confidential and GDPR compliant.
Identify opportunities to improve office systems, administrative processes and ways of working to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Work with the People Manager and Director of Fundraising & Finance to ensure policies and processes are accessible, in plain English and simple to follow; using step by step guides and images where appropriate.
Build positive relationships across the organisation, providing responsive, friendly and professional support to colleagues, volunteers and external stakeholders.
Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the nature and level of the role.

Person Specification
Essential
Experience working in a busy office or administrative role.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365.
Ability to follow instructions and coordinate with consultants to complete IT set up and troubleshooting.
Experience coordinating meetings and maintaining administrative systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR.
