Our Supporter Care Assistant plays a pivotal role at War Child as the first point of contact for many of our supporters and the general public. Part of the Supporter Engagement Department but working across the organisation and the wider War Child family, you’ll be joining a team which prides itself on innovation and collaboration in order to inspire our fundraisers and supporters. The Supporter Care Assistant deals with a wide range of fundraising enquiries through phone, email and post: this is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting our vital work by providing timely, compassionate and appropriate communications, as well as ensuring efficient administration of donations and maintenance of accurate database records.
We’ll need you to be able to work on a Monday, as it’s our busiest day in the team. A regular on-site presence is essential too as managing the incoming post is a core part of the role, so we’ll need you to be based in our London office for a minimum of one day per week. You can work remotely on other days if you choose and we are happy to consider other flexible working arrangements.

As our Challenge Events Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our exciting challenge events portfolio.You'll work on bespoke corporate team-building challenges, high-energy industry networking events like the Hike Bike Paddle for the sports and outdoor sector and the Housebuilders Challenge, and our popular open events like the Wiltshire 3 Peaks Challenge and the Somerset Cycle.
Challenge events not only enable people to raise amazing sums for the charity, but are also a fantastic way to engage supporters with our work, giving them the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, embrace the outdoors and achieve things they never thought possible - similar to our work with the young people on our programmes.
The Challenge Events Manager role is a varied position which would be perfect for somebody who has event management experience. You will be responsible for the full event cycle, from the initial planning, participant recruitment and stewardship to on the day event delivery and post event follow ups. You will be somebody who can spot opportunities, take on a project and run with it. You’ll be an excellent communicator, happy to pick up the phone to chat to event participants, deliver pre-event webinars or create engaging participant emails. You’re self-motivated, well organised, able to multi-task, a strong administrator, a fantastic team player, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy being outdoors. You should also have some fundraising experience, ideally in a paid capacity but in a voluntary capacity would also be considered.
You'll work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager, who is highly experienced in delivering our challenge events, but needs time to develop new corporate partnerships which is why we have created this new role. You'll also line-manage our Events Fundraising Officer who plays a key support role on the events. You must live in or near the South West as there will be a semi-regular requirement to attend in person staff meetings, visit programmes and join event planning sessions.
About You
You’re a people-person, self-motivated and highly organised. You are as comfortable managing a budget and a CRM database as you are standing on a mountain side in your waterproofs! You’ll have:

City Year UK is seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Partnerships Manager to drive new business and nurture existing corporate relationships.
Join a youth and education charity which empowers diverse 18 to 25-year-olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time volunteering in schools. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, our volunteers support children who are furthest away from opportunity in the UK.

The opportunity: An exciting opportunity to join our Customer Experience Team. The Product & Partnership co-ordinator role will be responsible for the development and delivery of product, ensuring its alignment with CSSC Member's needs, market demands and company goals, to widen and improve the product portfolio.
The role will involve identifying and securing new partnership opportunities, in addition to maintaining positive relationships to ensure high levels of member and partner satisfaction.
You will be reporting to Sam Dove, Product & Partnership Manager.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with the Partnerships manager, to identify and evaluate potential new partners in line with the Product Roadmap and recruitment opportunities to help drive member engagement.
- Assist with management of current relationships, product development, internal and external queries and implementing the product strategy.
- Conduct market research and analyse user feedback to identify new product opportunities and improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product’s target audience, positioning, and competitive landscape.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring that product milestones are met.
- Review customer journeys with the assigned product portfolio to understand any pain points and suggest improvements.
- Conduct regular analysis of user data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product decisions.
- Act as the liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product goals.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and feedback.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches.
- Monitor post-launch product performance and customer feedback, adjusting the product as necessary.
- Deliver product updates to internal teams regarding new product launches and changes, as well as support with volunteer member benefit development.

The key duties of the Management Accountant will be as follows:
- Complete the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.

- Monitor actual spending vs budget by providing a variance analysis for monthly budget holder reports.

The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised professional qualification or be part qualified studying towards becoming qualified.
- Demonstrable experience of having worked in a management accounts capacity.
- Ideally, working knowledge of Charity SORP, but candidates without this are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Role
As Community & Events Fundraising Manager, you will play a vital role in generating the income needed to sustain and grow our services.
