We are now looking for a Head of Fundraising & Business Development to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role
As our Head of Fundraising & Business Development, you will lead efforts to secure and diversify funding, building a sustainable resource base to support our global mission.
Leading the Fundraising and Business Development Team, you will drive the implementation of our resource mobilisation strategy, focusing on increasing non-ODA income and expanding flexible and programmatic funding.
Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, finance, research and impact teams, you will help close funding gaps by developing strong donor relationships, negotiating funding agreements and shaping compelling funding propositions.
Alongside collaborating with the Director of Fundraising and Communications and supporting engagement with the Board of Trustees, you will manage systems, data and internal processes that strengthen fundraising performance and ensure effective delivery.
Additionally, you will:
- Gather and share intelligence on trends within the funding landscape
- Generate new fundraising ideas and opportunities with existing and new funders
- Support teams to develop fundraising plans, donor scoping and funding bids
- Analyse data to inform fundraising strategies and income generation
- Design and manage internal fundraising support processes and systems
- Oversee the team budget and support staff development and wellbeing
About You
To be considered as our Head of Fundraising & Business Development, you will need:
- Significant experience leading fundraising functions in an international NGO or charity
- A proven, impressive track record in fundraising
- Experience in partnership and consortium development
- Management experience with the ability to co-ordinate, support, motivate, energise and develop diverse teams
- The ability to design and deliver income-generation strategies across multiple streams
- A strong understanding of the evolving landscape of finance and resource mobilisation for sustainable development
- A strong understanding of policy and research related to sustainable development at an international level, particularly related to Africa, Asia and/or Latin America
- Strong influencing, negotiating, stakeholder engagement and diplomacy skills
- A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
- The willingness and ability to travel internationally

When young people in care turn 18, all the support they’ve relied on can fall away, literally overnight. Suddenly, they have to navigate adulthood on their own. This would be tough for any teenager, even if they could fall back on their family for help. So it’s not surprising that two out of three care-experienced young people feel unprepared to leave care. Too many still don’t get the support they need to make it safely past this cliff edge.
Care leavers aged 18-21 are nine times more likely to experience homelessness than their peers.
Settle exists to change this. We’re an award-winning charity, supporting care-experienced young people as they move into their first home, so they can confidently transition into independent living, avoid eviction and homelessness, and establish the foundations they need to thrive in adulthood. We are on a mission to end homelessness among care-experienced young people.
With our current Head of Fundraising leaving us to go travelling, we’re seeking someone new to help us achieve this ambition. You’ll have a lot to build on. Hours: The hours are full-time (35 hours per week) preferred, with attendance at funder events outside core hours as needed from time to time – part-time will be considered for the right candidate but we envisage at least 0.8FTE / 28 hours per week

Key responsibilities
Corporate Fundraising
● Develop and implement a plan to raise funds from companies (this could be nationwide or within local project areas) with the Head of Fundraising and Comms
● Research corporate fundraising opportunities and develop a pipeline of prospects
● Approach new businesses to financially support Bags of Taste through presentations, applications, pitches and proposals
● Devise partnership opportunities where required eg volunteering days/fundraising ideas

Community Fundraising

The WaterAid Corporate Partnerships team is responsible for developing and implementing WaterAid’s Corporate Partnerships Strategy which includes a focus on developing high value, high impact strategic partnerships.
About the role
As our Strategic Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will develop and manage ambitious, long-term corporate partnerships and work closely with teams including Communications, Global Policy and Campaigns, and Country Programme Offices to drive sustainable change.

We are looking for a senior funding leader who is comfortable operating as a “department of one” within a small but ambitious organisation. Trusts and Foundations prospecting and bid writing will form a core part of the role, working closely with the CEO and senior team. Key Responsibilities
Strategic leadership
• Deliver the current funding strategy, which includes Trusts & Foundations grant funding, corporate donations, and testing new potential ways to generate income.

• Identify and develop new appropriate corporate donors and partners, informed by research into corporate giving, ESG and CSR trends.
• Shape and evolve a clear, credible and cost-effective corporate engagement offer that supports long-term organisational sustainability.
New income streams
• Scope, test and (if viable) deliver new earned-income models, such as corporate engagement models.
• Develop proof-of-concept approaches and evaluate their feasibility.
• Support the organisation to diversify and strengthen its income base.

Making The Leap seeks to appoint a dynamic Educational Partnerships Manager to play a pivotal role in securing, growing, and nurturing partnerships with schools across the UK. Reporting to the Head of Educational Partnerships, the successful candidate will drive engagement with schools, teachers, and senior leaders to expand the reach and impact of Making The Leap’s programmes. This role focuses on building strong, strategic relationships with education providers while maintaining links with community organisations, colleges, universities, and corporate partners to promote MTL’s services and mission.

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Transformation to lead this organisational step-change.
The Role
You will drive transformation across governance, systems, culture and delivery. Working closely with the Board and senior stakeholders, you will build the operational infrastructure required to scale Safeena’s three-pillar model:

Patient-centred faith-sensitive support

Healthcare navigation and advocacy

Community awareness and stigma reduction
You will ensure Safeena becomes compliant, data-driven, financially sustainable and ready for national expansion.
Key Responsibilities

Lead organisational development, governance and risk management

Build and oversee operational systems (CRM, reporting, dashboards)
