The generosity of individual supporters, churches and community groups enables Boaz Trust to provide accommodation and support for people seeking sanctuary, and to challenge and change the unjust systems that cause destitution, both locally and nationally. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer who will help us give supporters an excellent experience, maintain accurate fundraising records and develop opportunities for people and communities to get involved in our work. The relationships built and fundraising activity enabled through this role will support Boaz’s work with people who are facing or experiencing homelessness because of their insecure, changing or uncertain immigration status. Day to day, you will provide excellent care for supporters as you process and acknowledge donations, respond to supporter enquiries and ensure that our fundraising database is functioning well and information is recorded accurately in it. You will build positive relationships with supporters, churches and community groups, arrange and deliver speaking engagements, promote sponsored events and help people find meaningful ways to raise funds for Boaz. You will work also closely with colleagues to deliver fundraising projects across the breadth of Boaz’s fundraising activity as and when these arise.

The Hepatitis C Trust runs national projects where peers draw on their lived experience of drug use and hepatitis C to support others. We are now recruiting for a new and exciting role to join our growing Wales team. 

As part of an experienced team, working alongside local drug treatment systems (drug and alcohol services) this role will promote hepatitis C awareness, deliver blood borne virus testing and referral and support to hepatitis C treatment.

We are seeking an Employment Support Officer to support people experiencing homelessness, or those with a history of rough sleeping, to progress towards sustainable employment through training, volunteering and work experience.

You will work with our residents to create personalised pathways towards employment. You will also work closely with employers, training providers and partner organisations to create new opportunities for our clients.

22.5 hours per week | fixed-term contract (This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility to extend after this time)

About the role

This Debt Advice Case Manager role combines both technical and pastoral elements. It will involve building a client case, untangling sometimes complex situations, liaising with creditors, providing guidance for volunteers, and discerning and communicating the appropriate choices and strategies for the client. You will also need to lead client appointments and support clients through what at times can be emotionally difficult situations. Ideally, we are looking for someone with prior debt advice experience, and who has experience of working with vulnerable clients and supporting volunteers. However, we will also consider employing someone as a trainee Debt Advice Case Manager if they are able to demonstrate that they possess the skills, maturity, and determination to become proficient in this role.

You’ll also have experience of working with vulnerable parents and/or children in a range of community settings and adept at delivering groupwork programmes.

A successful Support Worker will need a good understanding of domestic abuse and the impact on children and families (or an interest in working in this field), with experience of delivering groupwork programmes for vulnerable parents and/or children.

This is a senior role with responsibility for growing income across trusts and grants, corporate partnerships, individual giving and events, while developing new opportunities through major donor fundraising. You will lead the fundraising team, set direction and priorities, and build the partnerships and relationships needed to deliver long-term growth.

Working closely with the CEO, Deputy CEO, Finance and Communications teams, you will identify new funding opportunities, develop compelling proposals and pitches, strengthen existing relationships and ensure supporters are well stewarded. You will also play an important role in developing FareShare Midlands’ fundraising infrastructure, including making better use of its database to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience of securing income and building relationships with senior decision-makers, alongside a strong track record of delivering against fundraising targets. You will be confident developing strategy and turning insight into action, with the communication skills to represent the charity with donors, businesses and other external stakeholders.

You will be a collaborative and hands-on leader, comfortable working in a small, dynamic team and willing to contribute across the wider organisation when needed. With strong commercial awareness, creativity and tenacity, you will bring the energy and ambition needed to grow fundraising while staying closely connected to the charity’s purpose.

- We currently have an opening for: Day Care Officer (Permanent, Part-Time, Hampstead)

- Hours: 25 hours per week, normally worked as 5-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required, for which Time Off in Lieu will apply.

What You’ll Do

As a Day Care Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of older people. You will:

• Lead and support group activities such as arts and crafts, music, quizzes, reminiscence sessions, and gentle chair-based exercise
• Assist with toileting and personal care, including supporting mobility and maintaining the individual’s dignity and independence.
• Support and assist with nutrition and hydration, ensuring the individuals dietary and fluid needs are met safely.
• Support clients with dementia, using person-centred approaches to reduce anxiety and encourage participation
• Help with daily operations, including setting up activity spaces, serving meals, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment
• Act as a key worker for individual clients to build trusting relationships, monitor wellbeing, and liaise with families and professionals
• Contribute to care planning and record-keeping
