Training and support will be provided so you don’t need to be an expert in everything. You will be part of a supportive staff team within the charity, and you will be part of a national network of Rural Housing Enablers offering peer support and shared learning.

You will benefit from an interest in housing and must be able to work with Parish Councils, Housing Associations and Local Housing & Planning Authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support, advise and steer communities, and town and parish councillors from their initial interest in providing affordable housing, through scheme inception and pre-development phases to completion, with the aim of increasing the speed of schemes through the pre-development phase.
• Assist communities to identify the nature and extent of affordable local housing need in their community including, where appropriate, through a Housing Needs Survey.
• Assist communities to identify a deliverable site for development of affordable housing and/or secure affordable housing as part of market led schemes.
• Build collaborative partnerships with key partners to provide a clear pathway to a successful planning application and delivery. Partners may include, but are not limited to, local communities, parish councils, housing association staff, officers from the Local Authorities (including in their role as providers of affordable housing) and local developers.
• Provide project management including regular reporting on project progress against workplan and housing pipeline.

• Experience of building and sustaining relationships within and across organisations and sectors, and working collaboratively.
• A highly capable communicator in person and in writing. Able to engage the public, local politicians, and officials on their own terms, whilst remaining independent and trusted.

The Finance & Operations Officer plays a central role in ensuring the smooth financial and operational running of Tender, supporting the organisation’s ability to deliver its mission effectively. The role spans core finance functions—including payroll, payments, reconciliations, budgeting support and financial reporting—ensuring that Tender maintains robust financial controls and compliance across all statutory and regulatory requirements. Alongside finance, the post holder is responsible for managing key operational areas including HR administration, ICT coordination, office management, and internal communication processes. This includes overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining HR policies and procedures, ensuring effective cross-team collaboration, managing external service providers, and maintaining an efficient administrative and operational environment. The role requires someone who can work autonomously, use sound judgement, implement effective processes, and ensure alignment of systems across the organisation.

A successful Finance & Operations Officer will also contribute to organisational development by ensuring that policies, procedures and workflows are up to date, compliant and reflect best practice. With responsibilities that touch every part of the charity, the post holder acts as a vital hub for coordination, problem‑solving and continuous improvement, helping Tender maintain a high‑functioning, values‑driven working environment.

To be successful in this role, in the first 6 months you will have:

• Established reliable financial processes by ensuring accurate and timely payroll, payment cycles, reconciliations and financial reporting, maintaining full compliance with Tender’s financial controls and statutory requirements.

What will you be doing?

Manage caseload efficiently and effectively in line with The FA policies, procedures, regulations, protocols and thresholds:

• Undertake investigations in respect of allegations or concerns made against individuals within, or seeking to enter, football.
• Complete risk assessments and, where appropriate, recommend a risk management plan to the Safeguarding Case Manager, Professional Game Safeguarding Manager, Safeguarding Quality Assurance Manager or Head of Safeguarding Case Management.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and paperwork for consideration by the Safeguarding Review Panel for cases which require an order in accordance with The FA's Safeguarding Regulations.
• Progress cases to their full conclusion within the timescales stipulated by The FA and in adherence to The FA Safeguarding Case Management Team's Practice Standards.
• Keep all case files up to date by accurately and consistently recording actions taken on cases using The FA's Case Management system, in line with FA Data Protection Policies and protocols and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Code of Practice.
• Liaise with County FAs, Clubs, Leagues and other FA departments as well as statutory agencies throughout safeguarding investigations to ensure timely information sharing and inform The FA's assessment of risk.
• Liaise regularly with Individuals subject to safeguarding investigations to support their understanding of and engagement with the process.
• Ensure the FA fulfils its legal duties under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, including referrals to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Other:

• Work collaboratively with colleagues within The FA Group and external agencies, e.g. County FAs, the professional game, statutory agencies, Local Authority Designated Officers and other statutory agencies.
• Work with and support the network of Designated Safeguarding Officers in football and contribute to regional County FA meetings, and assist in the delivery of training, where required, at a regional or national level.
• Self-reflect on performance, ask for feedback, identify relevant learning needs, attend and effectively prepare for regular supervision and relevant management meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practice, taking accountability for ongoing professional development.
• Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.

What are we looking for?

Essential for the role:

• BA/MA in Social Work, Police Officer (with relevant Child Protection experience), Youth Offending Officer or Probation Officer with a relevant degree or a lawyer experienced in child & family law.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in front-line child protection intervention and/or risk assessment of adult perpetrators, and application of risk assessment tools.
• Knowledge of safeguarding frameworks and best practice.
• Evidence of a child-centred approach and an understanding of children's rights, needs and best interests.
• Excellent report writing skills, including risk assessments, risk management report writing and analysis of risk.
• Experience in handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

About the role:

You will act as the operational lead for safeguarding practice, working closely with Operational Leads, Designated Safeguarding Officers (DSOs) and senior colleagues to drive quality, consistency and continuous improvement. Regular travel across England and Wales expected.

To drive the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, supporting fundraising and organisational objectives, reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager. The Role
As Head of Scaling (maternity cover), you’ll lead delivery of our plans to scale impact, including the growth of the Our Future model nationally, supporting towns to adopt via diverse scaling delivery models, and the delivery of tools and products to support this work.

You’ll support the infrastructure, partnerships and programmes that help towns take control of their future. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategy and delivery. You’ll work alongside others to turn ambition into action and build something that lasts.

This role begins with a handover period working alongside the current Head of Scaling, with a focus on getting up to speed with Our Future's newly developed scaling strategy and preparing for its delivery. The Head of Strategic Communications will lead strategic communications at ECU, building on our track record of shaping media narratives around the economy and working across multiple campaigns and programmes.

As our Head of Strategic Communications, you will devise and deliver impactful communications strategies to shape the way the UK media covers economic policy. You’ll help ensure that UK media debates are grounded in robust and innovative economic thinking and rise to the scale and urgency of current societal challenges.

Role: To engage Chatham’s diverse communities in the heritage of St John’s Chatham. This role will be
responsible for working with local community groups to develop and deliver activities and programmes
to involve young people aged 14 – 24 years old, low income families, older adults over 55 years old,
homeless and vulnerably housed people and local schools as part of the major community programme
at St John’s Chatham.

Principal accountabilities
● Through engagement with local community groups create a programme that results in St John’s becoming a multipurpose space for the local community.
● Develop, manage and deliver community engagement projects to interpret the history of St John’s, based on research gathered by the Research & Development Consultant.
● Work with the Volunteer & Training Co-ordinator to explore the potential for a community based café that is used as a centre for the local community to meet and learn new skills and make new friends
● Work with local community organisations to create programmes that support the development of skills, such as budgeting, cooking, gardening, English as a second language etc
● Create and maintain an arts and crafts area within the café of St John’s that inspires people to respond to the heritage around them
● In collaboration with the Research Development Consultant identify potential speakers and deliver a programme of talks about the heritage of St John’s, Waterloo churches and Chatham.
● Develop a programme of events to test if there is a market for evening events at St John’s, including but not exclusively, concerts, silent discos, film showing
● Develop and deliver, in collaboration with local community partners a regular programme of events for different audiences
● Facilitating positive and effective partnerships between community groups, public sector bodies and stakeholders to support the Activity Programme.
● Lead on the external communications for the programme via social media channels and local media where appropriate

The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

We are now looking for a Filming and Events Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis working 36 hours per week.

The Role

As the Filming and Events Officer, you will support the Filming and Events Team to deliver the highest standard of service.

You will work with our parks, communications & engagement, events, IT and finance teams. You will support the development, streamlining and implementation of systems and processes for customer relationship management and financial management, building on and enhancing existing frameworks..

You will also assist in meetings and briefings with production teams and their colleagues and contractors.

Additionally, you will:

• Initiate meetings and briefing sessions with location managers and their colleagues and contractors as required.
• Developing relationships with key industry professionals.
• Staying in touch with developments in the filming industry, such as H&S legislation in relation to shoots and industry best practice. 

About You

To be considered as our Filming and Events Officer, you will need:

• Experience supporting and/or managing filming in historic and/or environmentally sensitive, heritage locations or parks.
• Strong communication skills
• A degree, equivalent qualification or experience in filming
