Purpose of the Job 
As the Individual Giving Manager, you will proactively help deliver our supporter acquisition and retention programmes through the development, implementation and management of multiple campaigns. The post holder will support with strategic development of Individual Giving and proactively adopt a test and learn approach to campaigns. The post holder will work alongside a second Individual Giving Manager and have the responsibility of an Officer. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Working closely with the Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Manager, develop, implement and manage a portfolio of acquisition and retention campaigns
• Maximise opportunities for cross-team campaigns
• Develop and implement continuous test and learn strategies
• Proactively contribute to the development of an effective Legacy programme
• Line management of an Individual Giving Officer

Working closely with the Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Manager, develop, implement and manage a portfolio of acquisition and retention campaigns

• Develop and manage a comprehensive programme of cold and warm campaigns at all stages from initial briefs to data selection and post-campaign analysis.
• Create seamless supporter journeys and consistency of messaging from the initial touchpoint through to longer-term giving
• Develop and manage a rolling programme of reactivation, cross-sell and upgrade activities
• Develop a portfolio of new fundraising offers and means of support and manage related processes.

 Maximise opportunities for cross-team campaigns 

• Work with mass participation on deepening relationships with community fundraising audiences
• Work with the major donor team, identifying and stewarding prospects for major and philanthropic giving. Support on the development of a mid-value programme
• Maximise supporter engagement opportunities through cross-working with internal teams including Corporate Partnerships and Volunteering.

Develop and implement continuous test and learn strategies

• Build and implement a framework for testing and rolling out supporter acquisition strategies
• Keep up to date on the latest trends and techniques in fundraising and apply learnings as appropriate on new and existing supporter acquisition initiatives
• Work with the Individual Giving Manager to maximise the impact of supporter welcome journeys
• Monitor Supporter attrition levels and implement measures to mitigate disengagement.

Proactively contribute to Felix’s Gifts in Wills programme

• Working with the Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Manager, develop and implement a test and learn programme of Gifts in Wills campaign to both warm and cold audiences
• Manage supporter relationships with free Will provider agencies and keep records up to date on the CRM

Line management of an Individual Giving Officer

• Provide management to an Individual Giving Officer, including daily support and development opportunities
• Support with management of Individual Giving Officers workload.

Person Specification

1. Previous experience of developing and managing multi-channel supporter acquisition and retention programmes across F2F, digital and direct mail.
2. Knowledge of latest trends and best practice of supporter stewardship
3. Able to demonstrate being a Team player
4. Ability to work analytically 
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Digital Fundraising: Manage paid search, social media, programmatic advertising, and evergreen campaigns; optimise performance and ROI.

Innovation & Strategy: Develop new digital tools, lead AI strategy group, drive product development from ideation to MVP, and foster a culture of innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across teams, manage external agencies, and lead digital collaboration with member charities.

Financial & Risk Management: Oversee £100k+ budgets, ensure compliance, report on performance, and mitigate digital risks.

Digital & Innovation Strategy and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, maintaining best practices in equality and accessibility.  Design and deliver programmes that build awareness and capability around inclusive behaviours.

Data & trends: Monitor, analyse, and report on D&I metrics to measure progress and inform future actions. Stay ahead of trends, lead new initiatives, and represent the organisation in external forums to promote our commitment to inclusion.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Corporate Partnerships are a key area of growth for Noah’s Ark Fundraising and is pivotal to not just income generation but also brand awareness for the work that we do. The role feeds into our Major Donor and Corporate income streams. Philanthropy & Partnerships is a real area of expertise for Noah’s Ark, with much scope for further growth.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will work in close collaboration with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager and build a cohesive way of working to ensure that we are maximising impact for the charity and its beneficiaries.

Purpose - The Corporate Partnerships Manager works with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, steward existing relationships, and develop a healthy corporate prospects pipeline in order to achieve agreed income targets.  The role is also key in delivering our special events and campaigns in collaboration with our Special Events Manager. This includes our annual matched-funding campaign, The Winter Ball and the Noah’s Ark Golf Day – which most recently raised £1m, £400,000 and £104,000 respectively.

What does this role do?

As New Partnerships Manager, you'll:

• develop a prospect pipeline to raise a personal income target which contributes to an overall team target,

Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership and trustees, you will develop compelling funding propositions, steward funders through excellent reporting and engagement, and represent myaware at meetings, events and networking opportunities. You will also maintain accurate records through our CRM system, track performance against targets, and contribute to income planning and reporting. This is a strategic and hands-on role with real impact for people affected by myasthenia.

The Manager of Philanthropic Giving will be predominantly home based within the UK (with occasional working and meetings at Derby HQ) and will work in co-operation with the fundraising team and all myaware colleagues to deliver agreed fundraising targets and campaigns. Own transport is essential for this role as occasional travel throughout the UK will be required to attend donor meetings, events and networking opportunities, as well as the ability to travel to the Derby office. There may be the need to occasionally work during weekends and evenings and therefore there is a need to work flexibly when required.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced and motivated fundraising professional with a strong track record in major donor and Trusts & Foundations fundraising. You will have experience securing significant gifts, building and stewarding long-term funder relationships, and writing compelling funding applications and impact reports.

You will be a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal, research and organisational skills, confident managing a complex pipeline and working collaboratively across teams. You will be comfortable working independently, using CRM systems, and engaging senior stakeholders, including trustees and high-level donors. Most importantly, you will share myaware’s values, demonstrate empathy with our cause, and be committed to making a meaningful difference through philanthropy.

Who are we?

Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia. 

We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the condition. 

We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors. 

Members of myaware have full access to a wide range of support services and events including our specialist benefits and welfare advisor. 

Myaware supports people with myasthenia and their families.  We campaign for better medical services for people with myasthenia and work to inform medical professionals. 

The myasthenias are a group of neuromuscular conditions. They are rare but also manageable and can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender or nationality. Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

About the Role

As Fundraising and Relationship Manager, you’ll work within an ambitious team, securing sustainable income to ensure that the Youth Zone can deliver high-quality, safe and inclusive services for young people. This is a dynamic and rewarding role at the heart of the Fundraising and Communications team, helping to generate the income needed each year to keep the Youth Zone sustainable.

From working with High Net Worth Individual and organisations on the Founder Patron campaign, to working on Corporate Partnerships, individual giving campaigns, major gifts and high value supporters to supporting and growing community-led fundraising, planning and delivering events, campaigns and appeals.

About You

You will need strong relationship building skills, with a proven track record of income generation. Being able to tell good stories around local case studies to build a picture of why a Youth Zone is needed in NEL, along with presentations skills and experience of working is a must.

You’ll bring excellent administrative skills to the role. The team work with a CRM system and require accurate preparation of proposals, gift agreements, and reports. Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities are essential. Most importantly, you have a genuine passion for our local area and for improving the quality of life of our members.

You will have experience of:

• Income generation through personally securing major donor gifts from high net worth individual (HNWIs) and/or corporates, to lower level community and corporate gifts with an impressive track record in securing significant funds and meeting challenging financial targets, including both new business and account management.
• Developing a new pipeline of HNWIs and/or corporate prospects and being pro-active in converting these to active donors.
• Supporting community-led fundraising and events, campaigns and appeals.
• Managing a fundraising pipeline or prospect list, from initial research through to proposal, sign up and stewardship, using a CRM system, such as Salesforce to track progress and outcomes.
• Producing high-quality donor reports, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations through clear narrative, data and case studies.
• Representing an organisation externally, such as at funder meetings, networking events or presentations, with confidence and professionalism.
• Working to and achieving personal targets and KPIs.

About the Organisation

This is a brand-new locally run youth charity, set to provide thousands of young people with the opportunity to have fun, make new friends, try something new and feel safe.
