As our Fundraising Manager you will play a key part in the future success of Hindleap, with responsibility for ensuring we are meeting a minimum fundraising target of circa £250k. Terms and Conditions

• Location: Based in the United Kingdom, with the right to work in the UK. The team currently works remotely with no office base.
• Travel: Travel may be required within the UK to Team meetings as well as within the region served by EASST and to conferences and other events.
• Hours: This is a full-time post. Some flexibility will be required to accommodate international travel and occasional meetings with partners and funders across different time zones.

• Manage a sales pipeline and use our CRM to track opportunities, activity and forecasts. 

• Lead discovery conversations to understand schools' needs and identify where Khulisa can add value. 

• Develop and deliver compelling pitches, proposals and partnership offers. 

• Manage opportunities from initial contact through to conversion, working towards agreed income and partnership targets. 

• Plan and deliver targeted sales and lead-generation initiatives, including webinars, outreach campaigns and conferences. 

• Work with senior colleagues to build strong relationships with school and MAT stakeholders and identify opportunities for repeat and longer-term partnerships.

This is a hybrid role. The post holder will be able to work from home or from our London office, but must be available for regular travel to schools, events and other stakeholder meetings across London and the North West of England.

About you

ReachOut is a youth development charity and a strategic partner for schools. Through collective mentoring and engaging activities, we build socio-emotional skills that transform outcomes for young people constrained by circumstance. 

The Schools & Universities Partnerships Manager will lead the development, growth, and management of ReachOut’s partnerships with schools, multi-academy trusts, and universities.

This new role is central to delivering ReachOut’s strategy to expand our reach, increase income, and deepen our impact for young people constrained by circumstance. Reporting to the CEO and sitting within the Income & Partnerships Team, the postholder will work closely with colleagues across Programmes & Impact and Volunteering.

The role is responsible for building a strong pipeline of partners, securing sustainable funding, and managing existing relationships to ensure mutual value. Through both new and established partnerships, the postholder will support ReachOut’s mission while helping schools and universities achieve their own strategic objectives.

The Difference you will make

As The Corporate Fundraising Executive you will drive new business and income generation by identifying, researching and securing new corporate partnerships, while nurturing a pipeline of wider prospective supporters. This includes major donors, events and other relevant income streams.

Working closely with the National Brands Charity Manager and National Partnerships Manager, you will be leading on developing and converting new funding opportunities, maximising income through proactive prospecting, relationship building and tailored fundraising approaches. 

Your role

• Develop, maintain and grow relationships with long term corporate supporters. 
• Help partners develop their fundraising plans by providing ideas, support and resources.
• Research new corporate partners and corporate trusts to approach for support. 
• Inspire and motivate supporters, providing creativity and resources maximise fundraising.
• Working with the wider team to develop proposals for corporate Charity of the Year partnerships.
• Help to deliver Cash for Kids corporate engagement events.
• Identify any multisite/national opportunities with locally based businesses and work with the National Partnership Manager to expand support.
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with stakeholders and representing our charity, establishing strong relationships and building trust.

The Skills you will bring

• Experience in developing relationships with corporate partners, ideally within a sales or third sector role.   
• Experience developing targeted proposals for presentation to prospective corporate partners.
• Strong presenting and communication skills with the ability to negotiate.
• Be proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook & presentation systems. 
• Energetic, enthusiastic and confident with a hands-on approach.

Working Pattern/Location

This is fulltime role, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm with flexible working hours. We also offer a hybrid way of working that supports a balance of working from home and our office in London 2 – 3 days a week.  Some flexibility to work evenings/weekends will be needed depending on partner events.
