We're looking for an experienced, compassionate and clinically confident Senior Psychological Therapist to join our growing Crisis Line team.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the frontline of crisis care, supporting members of the fire services community through some of their most difficult moments and helping them find a path forward. As a senior practitioner, you'll use your expertise to assess complex presentations, manage significant risk and provide immediate psychological support when it matters most.

About the role

As a Senior Psychological Therapist (Crisis Line), you will respond to individuals experiencing acute emotional distress, suicidal ideation, self-harm risk and other urgent mental health crises. Working remotely as part of a rotational shift pattern, you'll provide calm, focused and compassionate support through telephone, online chat and digital platforms.

Using advanced clinical skills and evidence-based approaches, you will assess risk, formulate safe and effective interventions, and support individuals to move from crisis towards safety and stability.

You will:

• Provide autonomous crisis assessment and immediate psychological intervention for people presenting with complex or escalating risk
• Conduct structured risk assessments and respond to suicide risk, safeguarding concerns and urgent mental health needs
• Develop collaborative safety and risk management plans
• Deliver support through telephone, online chat and digital platforms
• Contribute to clinical decision-making, escalation processes and safeguarding responses
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to support effective care pathways
• Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality clinical records
• Participate in supervision, reflective practice, service development and continuing professional development

About you

You will hold a Level 5/6 qualification in psychological therapy, counselling, psychotherapy or a related discipline, or have equivalent professional experience, alongside registration with a relevant professional body such as HCPC, BACP, BABCP or UKCP.

You will bring significant experience of supporting people experiencing emotional distress, crisis or complex mental health needs, with strong skills in risk assessment, safeguarding and brief psychological intervention.

We're particularly interested in people who can remain calm and effective under pressure, make sound autonomous clinical decisions, communicate with compassion and clarity, and work confidently within structured clinical frameworks in a remote, shift-based service.

Experience in crisis helplines, acute mental health services, emergency services, suicide prevention, trauma-informed practice or digital service delivery would be an advantage.

Working arrangements

This is a fully remote, UK-based role delivered through a rotational shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and overnight working.

The role includes participation in the senior clinical escalation on-call rota, with a requirement to provide a minimum of six weeks of cover each year.

Occasional national travel may be required.

Due to the nature of the role, enhanced safeguarding checks will be undertaken.

Our Maintenance team works across multiple properties to ensure our residents have safe, good‑quality homes. We work closely with project staff to identify and complete repairs, carry out ad hoc cleaning and decoration, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and prepare empty homes for new residents.

This role will supervise a small team of maintenance workers within Brighton & Hove, and you will have previous experience of managing a team. You will be experienced of working in pressurised situations and will be able to prioritise your time and that of others in order to provide the best possible service, you will be a proven problem solver, and you will promptly identify where work expectations exceed capacity, or if external contractors are required to complete technical tasks. You will have excellent people skills and be able to communicate effectively with residents, contractors, maintenance staff, and project staff and managers.

The postholder is responsible for the day‑to‑day delivery of maintenance, repairs and improvement works across their locality, monitoring team performance and ensuring compliance inspections and remedial actions are completed on time and to a high standard, with customer satisfaction at the centre of the service.

You will manage a team of operatives, providing clear direction so all work is completed safely, professionally and efficiently. The role ensures safe working practices are consistently followed, supports value‑for‑money delivery, and contributes to organisational targets — including working towards Net Zero commitments.

Experience and Knowledge

• Experience of leading and managing a high-performing team of operatives

The National Deaf Ministry Advisor plays an important role in helping the Church of England become more inclusive and accessible for Deaf people. The Head of Performance and Improvement is a new role that will lead our work to drive excellence in our grant making in England. They will play a critical role in ensuring our grant making is not only delivered, but understood, improved, and aligned with our purpose. This team helps us answer key questions about our grant making:

Are we doing what we said we would? How well are we doing it? What have we learned? And what should we do next? 

The Head of Performance and Improvement ensures our grant making is evidence-informed, insight-driven, and continuously evolving.

Partnering with the Head of England Operations and working closely with senior leaders, you will ensure performance insight informs improvements to our grant making as well as feeding into decision-making, and strategic direction. It’s a role that connects information and delivery, helping us fund with confidence and learn with purpose.

The award-winning ISM is the dynamic, change making professional body  representing musicians. With a current membership of over 11,000, the ISM is known for its wide range of services to its members from legal to health and wellbeing. We are also known for our campaigning work on issues from music education to AI and Brexit.

The ISM is now looking for a highly experienced Administrator and Secretary to work alongside the Chief Executive. You will have very strong administrative skills as well as advanced knowledge of using Microsoft office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. You must have experience of ensuring good governance at Board level including  preparing Board papers and drafting and circulating Board minutes. This is a critical part of the role as well as drafting a wide variety of correspondence.

You will also be responsible for aspects of risk management such as health and safety. The Chief Executive is a senior leader in the music sector so you will need to be able to demonstrate absolute loyalty, discretion and confidentiality as well as excellent common sense and good judgement.

If possible you should have a music background.

OVERVIEW OF THE POST

Groundwork Greater Manchester is an environmental and social regeneration charity, and member of the national Federation of Groundwork Trusts, working through partnerships to deliver a greener more resilient city region with stronger, healthier communities, responsible businesses and enhanced prospects for all local people.

You will join the Homes Team and assist the Water Efficiency Lead in the delivery of Water Efficiency projects. The team deliver Water Efficiency audits across the Northwest to businesses and schools. Audits include behaviour change, Water Literacy Awareness, providing and installing water efficiency devices, identifying and fixing water leaks, and promoting and facilitating rain water harvesting and sustainable drainage solutions to reduce water consumption.

You will be required to develop good working relationships with project partners and colleagues and liaise with other members of Groundwork staff delivering similar or complementary services.

You will generate and respond to referrals and be responsible for providing effective support and customer service. Both advisory and practical, to enable people to make positive changes to their behaviour and to improve the quality of their lives through water savings. You will attend relevant team meetings/training to raise awareness of the programme and to develop/improve skills.

ROLE & MAIN PURPOSES OF THE POST

· Assist the Water Efficiency Lead to deliver commercial and domestic water audits across the North West of England by being responsible for responding to referrals, making bookings and customer service and engagement.

Overall Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the generation of vital community raised income to support the running costs of the Branch’s Animal Care and Rehoming services, while also developing, leading and delivering a branch-wide commercially viable, inclusive and comprehensive volunteering programme.
This is a revenue-generating management role within the charity. The effectiveness and success of the postholder will be measured against agreed financial performance, income generation, and impact KPIs, alongside people, welfare and operational outcomes.
