The roles we are seeking volunteers for within the NSP are as follows

The National Safeguarding Panel (NSP) is seeking to appoint TWO representatives from a survivor's organisation that works with individuals affected by faith-based abuse to join its independent scrutiny and advisory body.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the safeguarding work of the Church of England by offering strategic insight, scrutiny, and challenge from the perspective of survivors. The NSP plays a vital role in shaping safeguarding policy and practice, ensuring that the voices of victims and survivors are heard and meaningfully integrated into decision-making.

Role Expectation
Time Commitment: Approx. 6-8 meetings per year, plus preparation
Term: 3 years, renewable for 2 years
Location: Meetings held in London and across dioceses (hybrid attendance available)

Remuneration and Expenses
A fee of £25 per hour will be paid for attendance at meetings, along with reimbursement for travel expenses. Members are expected to attend six meetings per year and undertake one hour of reading in preparation for each panel meeting. Additional reasonable expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the Church of England's NCI expenses policy, subject to approval by the Chair.

Responsibilities

• Represent the experiences and perspectives of survivors of faith-based abuse.
• Participate in scrutiny sessions and fact-finding meetings, helping to shape recommendations to the Church's National Safeguarding Steering Group.
• Provide independent advice on safeguarding policy and practice.
• Engage with other panel members from diverse backgrounds, including survivors, safeguarding professionals, and faith representatives.
• Contribute to the development of a proactive and constructive safeguarding culture across the Church.

About You

Work directly with survivors of abuse within any faith-based context

• * Have experience in scrutiny, advocacy, or policy development.
• * Are committed to survivor-led approaches and trauma-informed practice.
• * Can nominate a representative with lived or professional experience relevant to the NSP's remit.

The nominated representative should be able to

• Attend up to six panel meetings per year (some in-person, some online).
• Contribute to written submissions and discussions.
• Collaborate respectfully with a multiagency, multidenominational panel.

Support and Induction
New members will receive a full induction programme, including meetings with key panel and safeguarding team members, and access to relevant resources.

About the role

Jasmine Mother and Child Family Residential Centre is Trevi’s specialist residential service supporting women during pregnancy and mothers living with their children while addressing substance use, trauma, mental health needs and wider family pressures.

As Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of this seven-bed residential family service, ensuring a safe, nurturing and trauma-responsive environment for women, children and staff.

Working alongside the Head of Service, you will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, maintain high standards of care and ensure the service meets Ofsted requirements and all relevant regulatory and safeguarding standards.

Key responsibilities include:

· Leading, supporting and developing the staff team

· Ensuring the safe and effective day-to-day running of the service

· Maintaining compliance with Ofsted requirements and relevant legislation

· Overseeing safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance

IRMO’s Advice service provides trusted information, resources, advice and casework in Spanish and Portuguese on key areas of need, including immigration, welfare entitlements, housing and homelessness prevention. IRMO is accredited by the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) and the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) at Level 3. We are also members of Advice UK and receive second-tier support from Southwark Law Centre.

As part of our Advice for All partnership, you will oversee the delivery of our Advice Workforce Development Programme, working in close collaboration with our partner organisations. This includes supporting the training and development of year-long cohorts of immigration and welfare & housing trainees, as well as strengthening the skills and practice of our existing advice workforce.

With an annual income of around £4.5 million, individual giving and gifts in Wills is central to our income generation strategy and this role lead its growth and development.

This role is perfect for an experienced fundraiser ready to own the individual giving and gift in Wills strategy end to end. You will set the direction for donor communications, appeals and the legacy pipeline, taking responsibility for income from individual donors and KPIs while working closely with the Head of Income Generation and Engagement to contribute to the overall income generation and engagement strategy.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of the individual giving and legacies strategy and annual planning, budgeting and KPIs, reporting performance to the Head of Income Generation.
2. Set the direction for a sustainable individual giving programme, growing the supporter base across all channels and developing strategies to engage and motivate supporters.
3. Own the planning and delivery of engaging, multi-channel fundraising campaigns and appeals.
4. Provide advice and support to branches for one-off lottery or other individual giving initiatives; ensuring compliance with our gambling commission licence nationally and through branches.
5. Lead the ongoing development of the charity’s programme of appeals, regular giving and sponsorship products, lottery and donor development programmes.
6. Maximise digital fundraising opportunities whilst recognising the contribution of non-digital approaches for certain audiences and product types.
7. Own email marketing and online supporter journeys.
8. Lead the legacy giving and in-memory fundraising strategy.
9. Own monthly analysis of income and expenditure against KPIs, reporting on progress and forecasting future results.
10. Design and implement a stewardship programme with particular attention to supporter journeys for new and existing supporters that increase average values and long-term support.
11. Own compliance of the individual giving programme, identifying and managing risk and escalating to the Head of Income Generation and Engagement where necessary.
12. Ensure data collection, management, use, storage and destruction comply with data protection law and best practice.
13. Work closely with other members of staff and senior managment to ensure individual giving products and initiatives are integrated with other areas of the charity, such as brand and marketing programmes, retail development and homing campaigns.
14. Own direct relationships with external suppliers, agencies and freelancers, setting briefs, managing budgets and holding them to account.
15. Act as the organisation’s senior specialist on individual giving and legacies, advising and influencing colleagues, volunteers and homing centres on how their roles can support fundraising opportunities, without formal line authority.

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience of working in a senior individual giving, direct marketing, community, or general fundraising role.
• Demonstrable track record of delivering sustained income growth and establishing new programmes of activity.
• Experience owning a budget and KPI set, forecasting, reporting to senior management and adjusting plans in response to performance.
• Proven ability to get the best out of external suppliers and agencies (copywriters, designers, mailing houses, platform developers, etc.) to maximise outcomes, setting budgets and holding suppliers to account for results.
• Demonstrable experience of donor development, journeys and stewardship at a strategic level.
• Proficient written and verbal communicator with the ability to adapt tone to engage and inspire different audiences and write compelling fundraising copy.
• Excellenet relationship and influencing skills with the ability to gain buy in and shape the approach of colleagues without formal authority over them.
• Excellent stewardship skills with the ability to communicate with supporters via letter, email, telephone and face to face with care and compassion.
• Able to plan and prioritise independently across several income streams.
• Track record of writing clear, engaging supporter communications (appeals, newsletters, thank you journeys).
• Confident using data to select, segment, or report on supporter groups.
• Experience managing ongoing relationships with individuals (donors, supporters or clients).
• Experience of legacy marketing.
• Proficiency in using a CRM to manage donor relationships and supporter journeys.
• Strong working knowledge of charity law, GDPR and the Fundraising Code of Practice with experience of ensuring organisational compliance.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to develop new areas of fundraising.

Desirable experience and qualifications:

• Relevant fundraising or marketing qualification (e.g. Institute of Fundraising / CIOF certificate, CIM), or evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Experience of legacy marketing, legacy administration, or legacy pipeline management.
• Experience of writing or approving legacy-specific communications (in-memory, will-writing campaigns, pledger updates).
• Experience designing and evaluating acquisition or retention campaigns and activity across a variety of offline and digital channels.
• Experience of building or improving email marketing programmes or automated supporter journeys.
• Experience of working with fundraising databases (e.g. Raiser's Edge, Donorfy, Beacon) and GDPR-compliant data handling.
• Experience of liaising with solicitors, executors, or handling sensitive/bereavement-related conversations.
• Experience of managing a pipeline or CRM-tracked process from enquiry through to completion.
• Have empathy and enthusiasm for the mission of the Greyhound Trust.

You will be required to work or provide support outside of standard working hours for events and operational needs, so flexibility is key. This post and its role requirement will develop with the needs of the charity.

Psychosocial Workshops and Recovery Team: You will line manage a team of Key Workers who run our group programmes across the County, and our Volunteer and Peer Mentor Co-ordinator.

Here4YOUth Team:  You will line manage a team of Key Workers who hold a caseload of young people and families, including delivery of the MPACT programme.

Amongst other duties you will support individuals’ development, support personnel matters, listen, respond, and care about staff and the wellbeing of those who use our service. Oversee performance and manage the operational flow of your team, maintain high standards of practice, and support your team to achieve wider service targets.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years effective leadership and/or supervisory experience. You will need to demonstrate effective communication and organisational skills and have the ability to manage change whilst working to deadlines.

You will need to be confident working with external agencies and deliver learning sessions to your team and other agencies where required. About the Role

The South London Centre Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, smooth running and development of the South London centre and Smart Works service in Croydon.

They will oversee the delivery of a high-quality Smart Works service, to include managing centre operations, leading and supporting the volunteer community, and building strong relationships with local partners and stakeholders, to ensure that Smart Works is well-embedded in the South London community.

The Centre Manager will be a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys making things happen. They will be equally comfortable managing the practical running of a busy public-facing centre, supporting clients and volunteers, representing Smart Works externally and identifying opportunities to grow the service.

They will be a natural relationship builder who is able to create a vibrant, friendly and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.

The role would be based in the South London centre, and there will be occasional evening and weekend work for which staff are awarded TOIL. There will also be an expectation that this role may need to visit other Smart Works London centres or travel for outreach events and activities throughout the city.
