Programme Overview 

Connect to Work is a UK government-funded initiative aimed at supporting individuals with disabilities, health conditions, or other complex challenges in finding and maintaining employment. The program offers tailored assistance, including one-to-one coaching, employer engagement and help with CV writing. Participants can receive up to 12 months of guidance if they are seeking employment, or up to 4 months if they are currently employed but at risk of losing their job. Support is delivered through local partnerships, and individuals can either self-refer or be referred by professionals and community partners. 

We are recruiting for 2 seperate Employment Specialist roles, one for Berkshire and the other  for Oxfordshire.The Employment Specialist will play a vital role in the success of the programme these areas. They will manage a caseload of up to 25 service users, delivering person centred support to create and follow an individualised workplan, engaging with employers directly to support people into good and sustainable work. They will be enthusiastic and passionate about helping people to find that role that works for them.

Location and Salary  

The contracts covers Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Delivery is expected throughout a network of community venues and with specialist partners. Salary will be £27,976 - £29,000 depending on experience. Travel expenses over and above those to the agreed base location will be reimbursed.

Primary Duties and responsibilities:

• Champion our customers as valuable candidates by actively promoting them to employers and raising awareness and support available through the programme 

• Creating and following through with individualised action plans ensuring appropriate and effective activity is undertaken by and with each customer. 

• Have regular check-ins with customers to track their progress before starting employment and once in employment 

• Advocate for the values of our programmes by working in partnership with employers to view our clients positively and inclusively during recruitment.

• Build potential employment opportunities through proactive engagement with potential employers.

• Facilitate work experiences, such as placements, trials, and shadowing opportunities with suitable employers where appropriate.

• Provide ongoing In Work Support to customers who have successfully gained employment, helping them sustain and thrive in their roles, including working in partnership with employers. 

• Address customer’s personal constraints to employment, providing challenge, advice, and guidance where appropriate to develop customers capability in the recruitment process ensuring they have the necessary skills and confidence to secure employment. 

• Identify, structure, and recommend vacancy and training solutions, working in close consultation with the team to meet the specific needs of customers and employers. 

• Maintain customer records to a required quality standard to ensure the customer journey is documented in accordance with our quality standards and contractual requirements.

• Develop an understanding of specialist signposting services in the local area/region, building knowledge in areas such as specific disabilities, housing, benefits etc

• Meet personal performance targets, Key Performance Indicators and all Quality and Compliance measures by delivering high quality employability provision to customers 

• Work in partnership and alongside our key delivery partners across Berkshire to offer a joined-up approach for stakeholders, employers and residents.

Skills and experience: 

Required 

• A passion for working with people and have a solution focused approach

• Experience working with people facing barriers to employment including health conditions and disabilities 

• Experience of providing one to one support and coaching to individuals with the ability to constructively challenge where needed.

• Proven experience in developing networks and building strong partnerships to support customers goals 

• A flexible approach to working hours is essential, including the ability to support occasional evening and weekend activities. 

• Strong organisational skills including managing caseloads 

• Knowledge of safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality requirements

• Driving licence and access to a car given the community delivery of the contract

• Track record of helping individuals progress into work

Head of Community Sponsorship Role 

This is a rare opportunity to lead Citizens UK’s community sponsorship campaign and help build the movement that will be at the heart of a community-led welcome.

This new role comes at an exciting and crucial time, as we seek to build and embed this new form of named community sponsorship in the UK. As Head of Community Sponsorship you will lead on our strategy to develop named sponsorship as a transformative part of the UK’s approach to refugee resettlement and community power. This will involve building a broad-base of civil society partners ready to sponsor refugees and to add their voice to the campaign. You will lead on the campaigning and advocacy strategy as we ensure quality in the Government policy and cross-Party political support. Citizens UK acts as the Lead Sponsor for local community sponsorship groups and you will oversee their ongoing support and further engagement.

The role foster collaboration with Citizens UK Organisers and alliances, develop sustainable funding strategies, and ensure alignment with Citizens UK’s broader migration and transformation goals. The role will work alongside Citizens UK’s Migrant and Refugee Organising Team and will contribute to the efforts to build the power to create a more welcoming country. You will lead on relationships with senior stakeholders, policy makers, and funders, and support the creation of campaigns and resources to expand public awareness and support for community sponsorship. With responsibilities spanning communications, and external representation, the role is key to shaping Citizens UK’s refugee resettlement strategy and building its national impact as a driver of cohesion. 

Working as the Head of Community Sponsorship for Citizens UK, reporting to the Assistant Director for Migrant and Refugee Organising (MARO), your main responsibilities will include:

You will hold an integral role at the DEC for accurately and efficiently managing DEC’s accounting function, ensuring compliance with charity and donor regulations. You will oversee budgeting, grant management, and donor reporting with transparency and accuracy. You will provide financial insights to support cross organisational projects and program delivery and hold a key role in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with our vision and strategic planning.

About You

You will be a confident communicator, who can engage with diverse internal & external stakeholders, including funders and partners, creating a collaborative approach to meet varying commitments. You must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with senior finance leadership experience in the non-profit or NGO sector and demonstrate strong understanding of charity accounting standards and donor compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Processes

• Ensure accurate income/expenditure recording, bank reconciliations, and daily donation processing.
• Manage monthly accounting routines, prepare management accounts, and lead budget/forecast reviews.
• Coordinate annual and strategic budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Oversee income reconciliation across multiple streams and liaise with fundraising teams.
• Review and process drawdown payments to member agencies.
• Maintain and update accounting systems and support procurement processes.

Financial Controls

• Lead annual accounts preparation and audits; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage pension schedules and benefits compliance.
• Ensure tax compliance (VAT, Corporation Tax, Employment Taxes).
• Audit gift aid claims and maintain robust financial control environment.

About the DEC

The DEC is made up of 15 member charities who are experts in humanitarian aid and specialise in different areas of disaster response. They come together to speak in one voice and make fundraising more efficient when we launch an appeal. Our members fund our running costs, and we give them back the money we raise in our appeals to carry out their vital work.

This role at ISEAL is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administration experience, interested in moving into a HR role or broadening their HR experience in an organisation is now consolidating recent growth. If you have strong communication skills and would like to contribute to the HR function in a sustainability focused international organisation, this may be an excellent chance to develop your career.

With significant recent growth in employee numbers and with staff based both in London and international locations, the HR function is looking to continue to strengthen its processes to provide excellent support throughout the employee lifecycle. Continuing the improvement journey already started, you will coordinate the induction processes for new employees as well as supporting regular HR processes linked to probation and performance reviews and employee communications.

ISEAL is committed to providing good learning and development opportunities, starting with the induction process. The Coordinator will take a lead in bringing new ideas on how to develop the learning programme as well as coordinating relevant training and developing a more consistent approach to training provision. The role will also have the opportunity to contribute to optimising our remaining HR processes and procedures, helping to identify opportunities for improvements and taking ownership of the introduction of a new HR system to provide easy to access services for staff.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a proven interest in working in HR, possibly with studies in a related field or work experience in a HR/administrative setting. The Key Responsibilities we will entrust you with:

HR administration

• Support Senior Manager, HR & Operations in day-to-day delivery of ISEAL´s HR provision
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, contracts, and HR records in line with legal requirements in the UK and other locations of employment
• Support onboarding processes, coordinating and overseeing employee inductions, including ownership of keeping Employee Handbook up to date
• Help with and monitor the implementation and administration of all HR policies, procedures and tools
• Develop and deliver guidance and training for ISEAL staff and line managers about HR policies, practices and procedures
• Organise timely review of policies and communication of updates or changes to any such documents and procedures
• Coordinate annual performance review processes, ensuring timely completion of documents
• When required, support recruitment process managed by external consultant

Improvement to Processes

• Input to continued improvement of Learning and Development provision
• Implement move to new HR system, including contributing ideas for how best to use the system
• Support revision of HR policies to ensure all policies are up-to-date and new policies produced if needed

• Improve processes and systems for HR data capture and to ensure consistent and accurate data
• Help identify an appropriate HR system for increased automation of HR processes and employee self service functions
• Analyse employee and HR data and help prepare regular reports 

Essential experience, knowledge and attributes

• Experience working in the HR function in a small to medium sized organisation

• Previous experience in an administration or coordination role, working with a variety of administrative systems and tools

LRMN's Finance Assistant works closely with Finance Manager (FM) to maintain LRMN’s financial records, ensuring that all transactions are accurately and timely recorded to support the FM producing the reporting data for the management accounts and the monthly bank reconciliation.

As Finance Assistant you will:

• Post purchase invoices daily in QuickBooks, aligned with Salesforce records, ensuring PDFs are uploaded and costs correctly allocated

• Process petty cash claims in QuickBooks with supporting receipts, accurate budget allocation, and petty cash reconciliation in liaison with the FM

• Record and post all bank and card expenses monthly in QuickBooks, with receipt/invoice uploads

• Review trade creditors reports with the FM to ensure invoices are captured for weekly payment runs

• Raise sales invoices in QuickBooks as required

• Review trade debtors reports with the FM and monitor timely invoice payments

• Assist and liaise with the FM and CEO as required

Muslim Aid is a UK faith-based international development organisation that provides support to communities around the world affected by disasters, conflict, or endemic poverty without regard to their social, religious, or ethnic background.

Summary of the role: 

The Head of Income Generation & Marketing is a key member of Muslim Aid’s Leadership Team, responsible for executing the organisation’s fundraising and marketing strategy and overseeing all marketing and communications activities across the organisation. The post holder will lead the delivery of income generation plans, providing strategic direction and hands-on operational support to their direct reports to maximise income across all sub-department income streams. They will be accountable for growing and sustaining revenue from a diverse portfolio of supporters across the UK, ensuring income targets are met or exceeded.

The role includes mentoring and leading Management, supporting them to implement effective fundraising activity, achieve ambitious income and renewal targets year on year, and deliver high-quality stewardship experiences for supporters.

About the Role:

1. Design and deliver MA’s cross organisational fundraising and marketing strategy with a focus on sustainable and reliable unrestricted income generation. This will include key activities, areas of required investment, KPIs and milestones as well as the projected growth of fundraising income

ROLE OVERVIEW
Early intervention and education is considered critical in the development and resilience of young people to encourage safe experiences. Water plays a vital role in the way we live our lives but it can also result in devastation if not treated with caution. Providing young people with the knowledge and skills to make safe decisions around water is empowering, profound and life-saving.

You will be a passionate and ambitious leader with the skills, knowledge and experience to drive forward this area of work in collaboration with RLSS UK team members across the organisation. In 2025 the Department for Education (DfE) agreed for the Water Safety Code to be integrated into the newly released Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education, and Health Education (RSHE) statutory guidance for schools in England. RLSS UK were part of a collaboration of various organisations, who campaigned for this important change which is due to be embedded into the curriculum from September 2026. This role will be pivotal to ensuring that RLSS UK’s voice and expertise is maintained in this educational delivery as well as putting in place robust KPIs to allow us to assess its ongoing impact.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Water Safety and Education
• Lead on the development of an ‘Education Strategy’ for RLSS UK that ensures that more young people have access to high quality water safety education
• Represent RLSS UK at wider forums and groups as our water safety and education expert and identify opportunities to increase our impact further
• Work with the Education Manager to develop and deliver education pilots and interventions that are informed by the ‘Education Strategy’
• Work closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager to ensure that policy work blends seamlessly and consistently into our educational delivery

This is a 12-month paid internship starting in March 2026, supported by the Jack Petchey Internship 
Programme. The successful candidate must be available to take up the post by Monday 23rd
March 2026. This internship is designed to provide a structured learning and development 
opportunity for someone interested in building a career in the youth, charity, and/or community 
sector. The post-holder will gain specialist knowledge working with unpaid Carers and their 
families, as well as exposure to how the broader health, social care, and education sectors
operate.

The post-holder will support the delivery of activities and breaks for Young Carers (YCs) and 
Young Adult Carers (YACs), including social, educational, and wellbeing groups, groups which 
support YC and YAC personal development, create opportunities to build friendships and peer 
support networks as well as provide time out from caring roles. 

They will help raise awareness of Young Carers by attending e.g. outreach events and school 
assemblies alongside staff, will contribute to identifying new YCs, and undertake a specific 
project focused on engaging more YACs aged 18–25. This project will involve researching their 
needs and preferences and piloting activities to meet these.

Through Sutton Carers Centre’s support and the additional opportunities provided by the Jack 
Petchey Internship Programme, this internship offers a high-quality, developmental experience 
for someone starting out in the sector. It could be particularly rewarding for someone who has 
lived experience of caring and/or wants to develop specialist knowledge and skills in this area.

About the Project

The Open Kitchen is a community-led initiative tackling food poverty and social isolation across the UK. Our kitchens, based in Hounslow (London), Nottingham, and Manchester, provide free, hot, and nutritious meals to individuals and families affected by homelessness, low income, or displacement as refugees.

Operating seven days a week, the Open Kitchen offers more than just food it provides a safe, welcoming space where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Each kitchen also serves as a community support hub, distributing essential household items and sleeping bags to those in need.

Through this initiative, we aim not only to alleviate hunger but also to connect service users with pathways to stability, empowerment, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Open Kitchen project team, the role will involve ensuring the smooth, safe, and impactful operation of Open Kitchen Manchester. Responsibilities include:

Operational Management

• Oversee day-to-day activities within Open Kitchen Manchester, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals.
• Supervise and observe the cooking facility in the Manchester Open Kitchen, ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Manage food inventory, kitchen supplies, and procurement processes to ensure sustainability and efficiency.
• Ensure all food standards are followed.

Volunteer Coordination

• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Promote a positive and inclusive volunteer culture that reflects the values of compassion, respect, and community service.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain partnerships with local food banks, the NHS, job centres, local councils, and rehousing services to offer holistic support to service users.
• Collaborate with community organisations, faith groups, and local businesses to strengthen the project’s reach and impact.

· Collaborating with strategic partners to drive the expansion of the open kitchen concept across multiple locations.

· Leading fundraising initiatives for the open kitchen and managing the facilitation of in-kind donations.

• Represent the Open Kitchen at community events and stakeholder meetings to promote collaboration and visibility.

Beneficiary Support

• Identify service users who may benefit from additional assistance, including access to healthcare, employment, housing, or welfare services.
• Coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure referrals and follow-ups are managed effectively.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Ensure all operational, financial, and compliance records are maintained accurately.
• Monitor performance indicators such as meals served, volunteer hours, and beneficiary outcomes, and report regularly to the management team.
• Support the continuous improvement of service quality and community impact.
• Create and provide daily Open kitchen feedback reports to monitor beneficiary numbers and meal distributions.
