CJO is one of the few small Black lead charities in London, enhancing the quality of life for African Caribbean Women and Families. Founded in 1982 at the request of Caribbean women, CJO delivers family-centred services for women with children 0-16yrs, Gender- based violence support, connections for older people, health and wellbeing activities, counselling and therapeutic interventions to inspire and empower African Caribbean heritage women and families.
Reporting to the board of directors/trustees, the Executive Director will oversee the strategic and operational efficiencies of our programmes and staff. This experienced leader will not only understand the working of the voluntary/community sector but also have experience in developing and implementing a successful fundraising plan. Experience of hiring and managing staff is essential and establishing relationships with local community groups is a plus. Most importantly, the Executive Director should be highly effective in a Leadership role that requires clear communication skills and decisiveness. It is important that the post holder embraces our community -based broader philosophy of investment in our community.

For decades, we have worked tirelessly to conserve and restore precious habitats across the UK and whilst there are many examples of success, we have not managed to reverse the decline in wildlife. What is needed is far greater scale and restoration of processes that enable habitats to be managed more effectively with less human intervention. This requires the return of missing species to drive those ecological processes. This includes extensive grazing with large herbivores like bison and elk, plus cattle and ponies (as proxies for extinct aurochs and tarpan), reinstatement of predator prey relationships with wildcat, lynx and white tailed eagles plus a host of translocations at local scales to help occupy empty habitat niches and increase ecosystem complexity.
This post will work across teams to support species reintroduction efforts, share best practice, develop new programmes and work towards species recovery being built into day to day conservation practices.
You are an inspiring and engaging nature recovery professional who is comfortable testing novel approaches to improve species recovery efforts, learning as you go and sharing lessons learnt with others to constantly improve the understanding of teams and across organisations. Your outgoing and collaborative working style makes you adept at building working relationships that lead to positive action.
You will have a good understanding of the complexities of species reintroduction efforts in the UK, understand the reasons for and against and be able to build support from a place of deep understanding and respect for others views. About the role
OUTpatients is seeking an experienced Education and Policy Manager who can help us reach people all over the UK with our sector leading education and policy advisory. We encourage applicants who have prior experience working in small, developing teams and are able to balance taking initiative with close collaboration with other staff members.
You will lead on managing our education arm of the charity, continuing to deliver existing webinars and sessions on LGBTIQ+ inclusive cancer care, and explore development into new products, content, and audiences. You will work closely with stakeholders in the NHS, third sector, and industry.

Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) has been delivering Nightlight, part of Hertfordshire’s crisis alternatives pathway, for the last 8 years. We are proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways. We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our Helpline, Crisis Cafes and 24/7 Crisis House.

Role Purpose
The Adult Bereavement Counsellor provides therapeutic support to adults- particularly parents and carers- who are experiencing acute or complex grief following the death of a child.
The post holder will provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions working therapeutically using a range of counselling methods, approaches, and techniques, consistent with Level 3 of the NICE psychological intervention framework (2004).
They will also deliver crisis interventions where appropriate to ensure emotional safety and stability. In addition, the role includes designing and implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions across individual, couple, and group contexts, drawing on different models as required.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work within our policy, evidence and influencing team to deliver change for people with breast cancer in Wales.
You’ll play a key role leading the development and delivery of our policy and public affairs work in Wales. You’ll develop evidence-based policy positions, and design and deliver influencing plans in line with our new strategy. Over the coming year this will include our engagement following the Senedd election and with the new Welsh Government. You’ll also support the roll out of campaigning activity in Wales and act as a key spokesperson for the charity in Wales, representing us in the media as well as with campaigners and senior stakeholders.
About you
You’ll have experience of working in relevant policy or public affairs roles developing policy positions and materials, and a proven ability to build strong external contacts.
Along with strong analytical and communication skills, you’ll have the ability to work well independently while managing a varied workload, and the capability to lead projects and work with teams across the UK.
You’ll have a good understanding of the current health policy landscape in Wales or the UK as well as knowledge of Welsh or UK parliamentary processes and legislative systems.

About the role
Reporting in to the Head of Humanitarian, the Humanitarian Policy and Advocacy Lead is senior position that will lead Christian Aid’s humanitarian programme policy and advocacy work, aligning with organisational values and goals to maximise impact.
The post-holder will be responsible for shaping, leading and promoting our humanitarian policy and advocacy, and will represent Christian Aid at the global level in raising the organisation’s visibility and influencing humanitarian policy and practice.
The role will be Christian Aid’s representative at the humanitarian leadership level within the DEC and will work with the Head of Humanitarian in engagement with the ACT Alliance, and will enable our Multi-Country Cluster (MCC) leadership team to develop and deliver humanitarian programming that brings about positive change in humanitarian action and practice.
