The organisation rescues high quality edible surplus food, from across the food industry and gets it to over 8,000 organisations across the UK who are working to strengthen communities and improve lives. 

The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK. 

Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.

Purpose of the Job

Assisting with the management of working with surplus, through a portfolio of over 200 food partners, managing daily challenges requiring leadership support and stewardship of a network of senior food industry contacts.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Build and support the creation of informed and data driven growth strategies across all food categories through industry and charity insights and reflective in agile ways of working
• Supporting the creation and delivery of the category strategies, executing joint business plans and internal and external progress reporting
• Responsible for the portfolio of tier 1 accounts which sit across both food and funding linking Felix Exec with these key accounts
• Contribute to the development of collaborative and cross-functional account plans, considering food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources, resulting in optimisation of food out to our network
• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution. 
• Provide project support by managing and communicating key projects and initiatives to increase food volumes and strategic value, securing support from a range of stakeholders within food partners and across the Felix network 
• Support in the management of key funding & marketing campaigns & initiatives with other key internal teams.
• Keep robust & accurate records using Felix systems.

Essential

• Demonstrable experience managing multiple accounts in the FMCG, food, retail or comparable sector with professionalism and integrity consistently meeting or exceeding challenging targets 
• Good working knowledge of the key players across the food industry and their ways of working  
• Successful track record of managing cross-functional projects to tight timescales and budgets, ensuring involvement of all key stakeholders 
• Experience of project evaluation, data-driven analysis and impact reporting

Your role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Partnerships New Business Manager, to join our friendly and ambitious team, to be the lead on new business activity in the team. This role will lead on securing new high-value, multi-faceted, long-term partnerships with companies to support the RNLI’s objectives. This role will build upon recent pipeline development and new business success in the team, through leading on the continuous development and implementation of the new business strategy and plans, further driving improvements and ensuring a sustained focus on pipeline development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, approaching and securing new business at six figure level. You'll ensure we provide excellent management and stewardship of the new business pipeline, provide regular and accurate performance updates against objectives and KPIs, and accurately forecast short, mid and long-term income. You will help to drive creative thinking in the development of proposals to take out to prospective partners.

The location of this role is flexible and can be homebased, but ideally within a commutable distance of Poole, as the successful candidate will be required to travel to Poole and Partner locations on a regular basis (sometimes at short notice) to meet with internal and external stakeholders.

About you

To become our new Senior Partnerships New Business Manager, you will need:

• a proven track record in a fundraising or sales environment,
• demonstrable experience of developing innovative high-value corporate proposals/pitches, and closing deals
• significant experience of securing new business and managing the contracting process

This role requires someone with outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, who is comfortable delivering against targets, working collaboratively with a wide range of teams, presenting, building networks and working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. Previous management experience that includes financial and performance reporting, multi-year income pipeline management and managing geographically diverse teams would be advantageous.

The role of Senior Events and Partnerships Manager will lead the Events and Partnerships Teams to deliver their strategy and plans. Working with the Head of Public Fundraising the Senior Events and Partnerships Manager will carry out a programme of continuous improvement to shape our programme of events for supporters, the local community, our children, young people and their families and retain and grow our partnerships and community fundraising programmes. • Lead the implementation and delivery of the strategy for the Events and Partnerships teams and work with the Head of Public Fundraising and the teams to develop and review strategies to maximise income from events and partnerships
• Utilise audience insight to develop a broad and innovative range of income generating products to engage new and steward existing partners (including community supporters, businesses, groups and schools)
• Lead the Events team to review and overhaul our current events programme so that we are maximising net income and ROI as well as meeting the needs of our supporters and local community, and building connections and long-term relationships with our events supporters
• Manage partnership pipeline including building opportunities with new businesses to increase the range, value and number of partnerships for The Children’s Trust

• Work with Events and Partnerships team to ensure that we are maximising opportunities within our relationships, achieving long-term growth and retention of all supporters and working with teams across the directorate to cross-sell other appropriate opportunities for support
• Develop relationships with colleagues across the Public Fundraising Team, wider directorate and organisation to ensure that opportunities for engagement, integration and promotion of events and partnerships are maximised and publicised

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Executive to play an essential role in our Partnerships Team. This role will play a key role in supporting the execution of our new business strategy; identifying leads to build a strong prospect pipeline, creating proposals and pitching to secure exciting and impactful new partnerships for CoppaFeel!.

You will be the first point of contact when enquiries arrive from our website or our corporate inbox and you will manage the stewardship and donor journey of these leads.

The Corporate Partnerships Executive will sit within the Partnerships Team as part of the Fundraising Directorate, and will work closely with the other Corporate Partnerships Executive and Corporate Partnerships Manager. They will report to the Corporate Partnerships Manager. This role will support the team with stewardship of existing partners and fundraisers as well as administration; such as sending invoices, writing thank you letters, sending out fundraising materials, and much more. This role also will be required to attend fundraising and partnership events to represent CoppaFeel!.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager with building and maintaining a pipeline of prospect corporate partners, nurturing relationships to grow into long-term collaborations

• Ensure all corporate enquiries receive timely acknowledgement and communication, putting donors on the right supporter journey

• Researching and completing due diligence on prospects and partners

• Support on writing, reviewing, developing and presenting proposals and pitches

• Research sector trends and opportunities to identify new business prospects

Job Summary
Working closely with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager, this role will support the delivery of high value corporate partnerships, including stewardship and engagement activities, as well as business development, identifying opportunities with aligned brands and up-coming charity of the year applications, to develop new corporate partnerships. Day to Day Financial Management 

• Regularly review and maintain financial policies and procedures.

EMERGENCY is an independent, international NGO providing free, high-quality medical and surgical treatment to victims of war, landmines and poverty. At the same time, it promotes a culture of peace, solidarity and respect for human rights.

Since its founding in 1994, EMERGENCY has worked in 21 countries around the world, providing free medical care in accordance with its core principles of equality, quality and social responsibility. We do this in a sustainable way: by building healthcare facilities, training local personnel, and conducting search and rescue missions in the Mediterranean Sea.

As an affiliate, EMERGENCY UK has set out an exciting ambition to build on its success over the last three years. This includes a substantial growth in its income, with a particular focus on high value giving from philanthropists, trusts and other private donors. The aim is to implement the newly developed high value fundraising strategy, with a view to tripling current income levels from this source by securing high five and six figure gifts of both unrestricted and restricted income.

The purpose of the Senior Development Manager is to build and maintain a portfolio of high value donors and prospects through proactive networking, identifying cultivation opportunities and thoughtful stewardship. With a focus range of £100,000 and above, the position will develop long-term, strategic partnerships with existing and potential high value supporters, where relationships and their impact will be measured from both a financial and non-financial perspective. 

The postholder must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a high degree of lateral thinking within a small but hard-working team.

Main activities:

1) To raise funds in the form of high value gifts (focusing on £100,000 and above) through a variety of methods, including regular face-to-face meetings, attending conferences and participating in other activities by implementing a comprehensive programme to identify, research, cultivate and solicit high value donors who have the potential for significant, multi-year giving.

In this context, the postholder will be required to spend a considerable amount of the working week out of the office travelling and meeting in person with potential donors and their representatives.   

2) To manage and develop meaningful donor relationships, including with existing donors, by utilising a wide range of methods, including stewardship events and networking amongst existing donors and their contacts.

3) To actively participate in the implementation of the current high value fundraising strategy, leading change and adjusting plans based on experience and realistic assessments in order to meet pre-agreed targets. This includes supporting the ongoing development of all aspects of the strategy, such as the case for support, prospect research, donor recognition opportunities and individual donor development plans for high value donors and prospects.

4) To contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team, taking a lead role in the annual planning and reporting process for high value donors, providing regular progress reports against income targets and ensuring high standards of accountability. This also includes ensuring written and electronic records of donors are maintained, in compliance with data protection legislation.

5) To represent, and act as an ambassador, for EMERGENCY UK at external events, promoting its work and values where and when possible.

Person specification:

• Senior level experience working with foundations, corporates, high and ultra-high net worth individuals, leading them from identification to giving annual and multi-year gifts at the high five and six-figure level
• Experience of working independently to identify and cultivate prospects and influencers who have the ability to make personal introductions to high and ultra-high net worth individuals
• Experience in implementing high value giving strategies and annual plans for high and ultra-high net worth individuals, including reporting on targets and KPIs
