We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller with experience of running the day-to-day financial operations of a dynamic charity. We are an ambitious charity with ambitious goals that needs a Financial Controller to support the charity in achieving these goals. This is a broad role that will include a wide range of responsibilities. The Financial Controller is responsible for managing the daily and weekly tasks of the Finance team, as well as periodic tasks that are less frequent. These tasks include (but are not restricted to) all aspects of bank and cash, raising of invoices, generating BACS payments, all Finance input into payroll, VAT returns, Gift Aid claims and response to ad hoc queries from our front-line staff. The Financial Controller managers one Finance Assistant and reports into the Head of Finance. The Head of Finance leads on budget setting, forecasting and monthly / quarterly / annual reporting, and the Financial Controller will support where needed. The Financial Controller will also be the lead contact with external auditors following year end.

Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues

Key Purpose
The Safeguarding Manager is a pivotal leadership position at RABI, responsible for spearheading the organisation’s dedication to safeguarding and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone connected to our work. You will lead the operational development, implementation, and oversight of RABI’s safeguarding policies and procedures, while line-managing and mentoring the Safeguarding Officer.
This role also serves as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), assuming all DDSL responsibilities when the Senior Service Delivery Manager (DSL) is unavailable.
You will play a key role in embedding a trauma-informed, person-centred safeguarding culture across the organisation, ensuring that staff, volunteers, and partners understand how trauma affects behaviour, engagement, and recovery, and that this understanding underpins every safeguarding response.

Leadership & Team Management

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

- Up-to-date specialist safeguarding training for adults and children.

Shieldfield Art Works (SAW) is a project of the Methodist Church in Newcastle upon Tyne which is seeking the wellbeing of the city through creative practice. We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic individual to build up Shieldfield Art Work’s fundraising programme and contribute to our strategy. This is a vital part of our work as we seek to become more sustainable and resilient in an ever challenging climate.
Our ideal candidate will have good experience in developing and implementing a robust fundraising strategy in order to take the strategic fundraising work of our community arts hub into a new chapter. You will also be able to articulate your active Christian faith, be able to explain SAW's Christian ministry and show ability to be able to write for both Christian and secular funders with different priorties.
You will need to be self-motivated and confident in your expertise. The role is suitable for candidates who are experienced in larger and multi-year applications to trusts and foundations (ideally in the cultural sector), developing individual giving campaigns and CSR channels, cultivating donor relationships and a good storyteller, to tell the story of and champion SAW. You must be motivated particularly by the social impact and outreach work that we deliver.

Shieldfield Art Works (SAW) is a project of the Methodist Church in Newcastle upon Tyne which is seeking the good of the city through creative practice. We are a team of artists who support others to be creative, and use our creativity to support others. We believe that the arts help us to articulate what it is to be human and that arts participation enables joy and flourishing in unique and unexpected ways. We are blessed with a gallery, workshop room and garden on our site in Shieldfield and so try to organise ways for these assets to be a blessing to our local community.

Voice 21 is the national oracy education charity. We exist to empower every child to use their voice for success in school and life. Your purpose
To support our CEO, Director of Strategic Development and other members of the Senior Leadership Team to engage partners in our strategic planning, including to influence the implementation of the new national curriculum and guidance on oracy and establish a new advisory board to inform our strategy. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our partnerships strategy using email communications, providing administration and leading on planning for a series of meetings, round table discussions and partnership events. Partner relationships & communications

Ensure that communications to partners are sent in a clear and timely manner, using either automation or other systems e.g. mail merge.

ABOUT VIDERE
Videre is an award-winning, UK-registered NGO that exposes human rights abuses and holds perpetrators to account. We work directly with communities in stressed environments, equipping networks of activists and community leaders with the technology and training necessary to safely capture visual documentation of political violence, human rights violations, and other systemic abuses. Our aim is to ensure that the concerns and knowledge of affected communities drive advocacy, policy, and legal action. We currently have teams and partners in six countries and support staff in three further countries.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Security Manager is a critical role within Videre, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The postholder will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Videre’s security risk management framework and processes. The role supports Videre’s own project teams as well as the work we do with partners, which includes training and accompaniment on human rights documentation and the security risk management necessary to do this work safely. The Security Manager will play a key role in strengthening organisational resilience, preparedness, and security culture across multiple countries and complex operating environments.
LOCATION
Nairobi, Kampala or Bangkok preferred. Remote applicants will be considered. Approximately 20 days travel per year expected.
COMPENSATION
Salary is dependent on location. The UK-equivalent salary from £55,000 to £60,000, plus pension contribution, will be converted using ICSC scales.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Security Risk Management
- Maintain and continuously improve Videre’s Security Risk Management framework, ensuring effective implementation across all operations.
- Lead the safety and security elements of the organisational Risk Register held by the Chief Operating Officer, ensuring senior leadership is regularly informed of key risks and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular Security Risk Assessments, in collaboration with relevant managers and teams, covering programme operations, partner locations, and other identified risk areas.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee the implementation of Safety and Security Management Plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring staff are appropriately briefed and familiar with their content.
Preparedness, Monitoring & Incident Response
- Lead scenario planning and preparedness activities for safety and security risk management.
- Provide proactive, practical safety security management advice, guidance and support to teams and partners.
- Lead the crisis management response to security incidents as required.
- Monitor security contexts, analyse trends, and share relevant information to support informed decision-making.
Training, Capacity Building & Culture
- Design and deliver security risk management training and capacity-building resources for staff and partners.
- Foster and embed a strong organisational security culture, promoting shared responsibility for safety and risk awareness.
External Engagement
- Manage Videre’s participation in security-related consortiums and networks, including the Global Interagency Security Forum.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French.
- An understanding of risk management methodologies and experience applying them across multi-country teams.
- Experience in executing complex and sensitive security management responses.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, verbally and in writing.
- Experience of working directly with affected communities for sustained periods.
- Willingness to occasionally work extended hours during peak or emergency periods.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and requirements.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
Preferred:
- An understanding of human rights and a strong belief in their indivisibility and interdependence.
- Experience managing security challenges in difficult environments, including conflict zones.
- Experience leading security crisis management, including evacuation.
- Additional language skills beyond English and French.
- Experience designing and delivering training or facilitating workshops.
- Strong technology / IT skills and/or aptitude.
- Experience with fundraising or confidence in public speaking and presenting.

Qualified Low Intensity Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) – NHS Pathfinder Partnership
GMRC is a registered charity working with adult women who are victims and survivors of sexual violence and child sexual abuse, providing independent, specialist support and promoting and representing their rights and needs.
The post-holder will be based at GMRC but work alongside TRC and MASH women’s services and work within the pathfinder partnership, across all partner organisations, providing high quality, evidence based, low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based interventions using a guided self-help model, to clients with who have experienced sexual trauma but also have additional mental health needs. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Work within the Pathfinder partnership consultation model to identify potential survivors who might benefit from a low intensity psychological intervention.
- Undertake client-centred conversations and assessments which identifies areas where the person wishes to see change and or recovery and makes an accurate assessment of risk to self and others.
- Provide a range of information and support for evidence based, low intensity psychological interventions whilst working within a flexible and person-centred model of care.
- Work closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate interventions are considered and identify where a transfer of care to an HSP or another pathfinder team member might be required.
- Prepare and present clinical information for all clients on their caseload to clinical case management supervisors within the service on an agreed and scheduled basis, in order to ensure safe practice and the clinical governance obligations of the worker, supervisor and service are delivered.

St Giles is entering an exciting new phase with an ambitious Voluntary Fundraising Strategy for 2026–2029. We are looking for a talented and driven Fundraising Manager to play a central role in delivering this strategy and helping us:
- Diversify our income generation model
- Increase voluntary income by 15% across restricted and unrestricted funding
This role has a strong focus on Trusts & Foundations, Individual Giving and Legacy, with responsibility for managing and growing income across these streams. You will be an excellent relationship builder, confident engaging senior stakeholders and equally comfortable writing high-quality funding applications for five and six-figure grants.
You will manage a fundraising income budget of approximately £2.2m, working collaboratively across teams to maximise impact and income.
Key responsibilities
Trusts & Foundations
- Lead on Trusts & Foundations applications and relationship management, working with the Trusts & Foundations Officer and Head of Voluntary Fundraising to raise £2m per year
- Develop and deliver high-quality written applications, presentations and pitches for 5, 6 and 7-figure funding opportunities
- Provide excellent stewardship to funders, including reporting, meetings, visits and events
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to produce strong funding bids
- Work collaboratively with frontline teams to develop service delivery models and budgets
- Identify innovative ways to grow unrestricted income
Individual Giving & Legacy
- Manage and deliver the Individual Giving and Legacy strategy
- Grow income through single and regular giving appeals
- Work with the Communications team to develop and launch two national or local fundraising appeals per year
- Identify and engage Ambassadors and Patrons to increase reach and impact
Campaigns, systems & finance
- Manage appeals, campaigns and events raising £200,000 per year across Individual Giving, Appeals and Legacy
- Maintain accurate records and reporting using ETapestry, ensuring GDPR compliance
- Manage multiple fundraising platforms (e.g. Enthuse, PayPal Giving, Payroll Giving) and continuously improve systems and processes
- Work closely with Finance to set, monitor and review budgets
Organisational responsibilities
- Uphold confidentiality, data protection and IT security policies
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of work

About you
Experience & knowledge
- At least two years’ experience working in a charity fundraising environment
- Proven track record of securing and/or managing five-figure grants
- Experience managing fundraising databases
- Experience planning and delivering fundraising appeals
- Strong understanding of fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practice
- Knowledge of anti-discriminatory working practices
Skills & abilities
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write compelling, audience-focused applications and reports
- Highly organised, proactive and able to work to deadlines
- Strategic thinker with creative ideas to engage donors
