Job summary for Head of Health Information and Education
The Head of Health Information and Education is a key role at Bowel Cancer UK, leading the delivery of our health information and health professional education. We currently provide high quality support, but we know we need to do even more, reach more people and have an even greater impact.
The Head of Health Information and Education will, alongside our Clinical Lead, lead the development and delivery of our services in this area. This is a pivotal role with key areas of focus:
• Drive innovation in health information.
• Drive innovation in the content and delivery of health professional education.
• Expand our reach and accessibility to ensure no one faces bowel cancer alone.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders.
• Champion technology and digital solutions to enhance service delivery.

Our new structure and our new ways of working will bring all of these services together under one delivery model launching next year. We're creating a new virtual support hub to bring together everything our community needs to manage their MS or support and care for someone living with MS.
Our Services Development team are responsible for: UK-wide service development and experience design, community development
Our Head of Services Development will be:
- leading the development and continuous improvement of our UK-wide and community-based services, ensuring they are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with organisational strategy. And also working alongside our Digital Services Product Manager on all of our digital services.
- overseeing the full-service development lifecycle, using evidence to drive continuous improvement and ensuring that lived experience is embedded into design.
- ensuring that our new or improved services are operationally viable. Supporting our Fundraising to ensure that new services are funded.
- Developing and managing our service development roadmap.
- With the Director of Service Development, acting as an organisational lead for coproduction / lived experience. Driving best practice and upskilling in coproduction and lived experience involvement and participation across the organisation.
We’re looking for:
- significant experience of leading coproduction and service experience design, and ability to support others to deliver these activities.
- ability to lead organisational discussions and be an authoritative champion based on subject expertise (for coproduction, service development and innovation).
- experience of effectively implementing change and improvement across an organisation, and ability to drive continuous improvement across a department.
- experience of leading service development and managing the service lifecycle (including horizon scanning, research, coproduction, piloting and using monitoring and evaluation data to make improvements), ideally in a health or third sector setting.
- substantial experience of people management, in a team of similar size or complexity. Demonstrable ability to lead, manage and support others to deliver high-quality results.
- Proven experience in policy implementation, compliance and risk governance (and with an understanding of Safeguarding and demonstratable experience implementing Safeguarding policies).

ABOUT US
Not all young people have the same opportunities in life. Caudwell Youth exists to level the playing field for young people at risk. We support young people up to 25 years, who face real challenges in their lives. They may experience mental health challenges, be leaving care or be at risk of exploitation or offending.
We provide person centred support through volunteer-led mentoring for up to 18-months, alongside a targeted intervention programme called Shaping Futures for high-risk young people. Founded by the philanthropist John Caudwell in 2022, we now support young people across Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire, Slough, Buckinghamshire, and Luton.
Over our first 3 years as a charity, our work has consistently achieved exceptional outcomes for at-risk young people. 95% reduced offending behaviour, 64% reduced their exploitation risk, 83% reported improvements in their mental health and 45% had moved into education, employment or training. When a young person makes progress, families and communities benefit too. In fact, economic analysis shows that for every £1 invested in our programme, we save the public purse £6.05.
Unfortunately, demand for our service far outstrips supply, meaning we have often had to close our waiting lists. Whilst the risks and challenges young people face continue to grow. We currently support around 400 young people. The driving ambition behind our forthcoming strategy is to reach more.
To achieve this we are setting out to develop and expand our programmes. To become a national charity. We will do this working with at-risk young people, empowering them in everything we do. Our ambition to support more at-risk young people is shared with them.

Purpose of Role:
Provide strategic leadership on all Caudwell Youth’s external communications, ensuring they are effective in driving engagement and delivering our strategic goals.
Responsible as part of the Senior Leadership Team for the overall leadership of Caudwell Youth. Promoting the mission, vision and values of the charity, and the development and implementation of our strategic plan.
Key Duties:
Corporate leadership
- As part of the Senior Leadership Team work with the Board of Trustees to: develop and progress the organisation’s strategy, set and manage the organisation’s budget and ensure risks are managed effectively
- Lead by example, instilling a values-led and inclusive culture, with strong youth involvement
Commnications
- Lead on brand strategy, developing the brand to become more youth-led, reviewing our visual identity, core messaging, content and channels.
- Be responsible for digital strategy, leading development of our website and social media channels.
- Be responsible for our CRM, maintaining good data practices and delivering timely, integrated communications to our key audiences.
- Lead the development of communication plans, storytelling, assets and content; increasing the proportion of content created and delivered by young people.
- Provide the framework and support for youth participation in communications activities, working effectively with the Operations teams.
- Work with young people to identify influencers and celebrity/ambassador support to raise awareness and support our brand values.
- Lead proactive and reactive media engagement; including crisis communications with support from the CEO and John Caudwell’s PR team.
- Ensure our brand and communications convey a powerful case for support; working with the Fundraising team to create compelling donor communications to recruit and engage challenge participants and donors.
- Develop and deliver marketing strategies for volunteer recruitment to enable our mentoring programmes to grow.
- Gather and share the views and experiences of young people to influence change, building policy and campaigns activity as resources allow.
- Oversee the production of digital, printed and physical assets as required.
- Lead and manage the Communications team effectively, supporting development to maximise performance.
- Ensure effective processes and analytics are in place, reporting to SLT and the Board of Trustees on KPIs
Administration

Experience:
Essential
- Proven experience in senior communications roles.
- Sound leadership and team management experience, with the ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve targets.

Marauders Men's Health is a dynamic, South Wales-based charity dedicated to improving the health, wellbeing, and mental fitness of men through connection and support. We have established strong foundations, including secured funding from the Big Lottery Community Fund over three years, a full Board of Trustees, and a growing programme of 8 events each week, including Walk & Talks and Sports Hubs. We are seeking an inspiring leader to drive our ambitious strategy to engage 7,000 men and provide 330 Personal Wellbeing Plans over the next three years.

Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, this crucial role is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational delivery of the charity. JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
· Lead the day-to-day running and strategic direction of the charity in line with the Board’s vision.
· Develop, manage, and oversee the charity's resources and workstreams.
· Ensure governance, compliance, and policies/procedures remain in good shape.
· Support the Board with fundraising strategy and financial accountability, including financial forecasting and reporting to funders.
2. Programme Management & Delivery
· Directly manage the Programme & Projects Manager and the Regional Event Leaders, and assist in the recruitment process for the newly established Volunteering Co-ordinator and the Wellbeing Coach/Coordinator roles.
· Drive the delivery and expansion of our core programmes, including the Physical Activities (Walk & Talks, Sports Hubs), Volunteer Engagement, Community Partnerships and the Personal Wellbeing Plans (PWP)18.
· Develop and implement the Marauders Pathway Programme to establish a culture of good citizenship and peer support.
3. People & Volunteer Management
· Provide leadership, support, and development for staff, managing issues such as payroll, sickness, and holidays.
· Oversee the Volunteer Co-ordinator to develop a comprehensive volunteer management process, including recruitment, training, and 'Reward & Recognition’.
· Help inspire 100 men to give back to the community through volunteering.
4. Partnerships & IT Development
· Maintain and forge new community partnerships (e.g. with voluntary organisations, NGO’s, other charities and social enterprises) to enhance volunteering, education, and wellbeing services.
· Spearhead the development of our IT Platform, focusing on a robust website and a Beneficiary Management System (CRM) for efficient reporting, data capture, and engagement.
· Oversee digital marketing and communications, including newsletters and social media content.

Job Summary for Events Fundraising Officer
We’re seeking an experienced Events Fundraising Officer to work on delivering our UK wide portfolio of challenge events. Policy Campaigns Officer
A permanent position has arisen as part of the continued growth of our campaigns work within our friendly Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns department. We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Prospect Researcher to play a vital role in supporting fundraising growth by identifying, validating and researching potential major donors, mid-level supporters, churches, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners. As part of the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate, you'll help unlock resources that transform lives and bring lasting change to vulnerable communities worldwide, contributing to World Vision's ambitious goal to impact 5.5 million lives and raise £100m in sustainable income by 2029.
In this important role, you'll proactively identify and qualify new major gift prospects using a range of internal and external sources, conducting detailed research to assess giving potential, affinity, and influence. Working closely with relationship managers across Major, Mid-Level, Trusts & Foundations, and Church teams, you'll ensure they have the insights and tools to prioritise prospects, build effective donor journeys, and steward relationships for maximum impact. You'll support systematic prospect management, provide concise, high-quality profiles and briefing notes to equip fundraisers ahead of meetings and events, and produce regular reports on the prospect pipeline and fundraising KPIs. You'll also contribute to horizon scanning, identifying new opportunities in the external landscape that align with World Vision's mission and fundraising strategy.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in the field of prospect research of major donor prospects
- Strong understanding of GDPR and ethical considerations in data gathering and donor profiling

- Ability to interpret and validate data from multiple sources

About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to take on a senior philanthropy role with real influence, autonomy and scope, combining strong core income delivery, with the chance to lead a major capital expansion appeal for The Treehouse Hospice in Ipswich which will significantly enhance the services we can provide to children, young people and their families.
Reporting into the Director of Fundraising, this senior leadership role within our Fundraising team, responsible for delivering around £3 million in income annually.
Managing and inspiring a talented team, develop innovative strategies, and personally cultivate relationships that result in transformational gifts.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and implement the Philanthropy & Partnerships strategy to achieve ambitious income targets.
- Build and steward long-term relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and trusts.
- Manage and empower a multi-disciplinary team, fostering collaboration and exceptional donor stewardship.
- Drive major appeals and oversee budgets to ensure effective allocation and performance.
- Champion EACH’s values and maintain strong links between fundraising and care teams.
What we’re looking for
- Proven success securing major gifts from individuals, corporate partners, and trusts/foundations.
- Experience leading and motivating teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Skilled in developing and delivering data-driven fundraising strategies to meet ambitious targets.
- Experienced in managing complex projects, including major appeals.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring.

We are looking for a Centre Co-ordinator to support the work of the developing Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre team by ensuring the smooth running of the charity’s office, administration support and fundraising support.
It is a varied role that covers a range of support duties but there are two primary focuses of the role, which are:
- To ensure effective office administration and support for CRCC and its services.
- Supporting members of the public to fundraise for CRCC and support the charity’s fundraising volunteers to develop and deliver a programme of community fundraising activities and events.
To give an idea of our priorities for this role, we envisage the post holder’s time over a working week to be split as: 3 days office administration and support and 2 days fundraising support.
It is essential that the post holder has excellent office administrator skills but, whilst fundraising skills are desirable, we are able to offer training to develop the fundraising-related skills needed for the role.
