Role Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, but dynamic team at Access – The Foundations for Social Investment. The Assistant Management Accountant will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Access's financial records. The role will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and provide support to the Senior Finance and Operations Manager and Director of Finance and Operations.

Main responsibilities include:
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (guide c.85%)
- Keeping the accounting system up to date, ready for review by the Senior Finance and Operations Manager, this includes but not limited to weekly bank uploads, posting weekly and monthly journals and reconciling Access's bank accounts and balance sheet.
- Assisting the Senior Finance and Operations Manager with preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets and Access's year end audit.
- Supporting treasury management by maintaining cashflow records and assisting with forecasting future cash requirements.
- Managing the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Maintaining organised financial files to support monthly reporting and the year-end audit
- Work with the Finance team to ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place and are being followed in order to comply with financial regulations and internal policies
- Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time, consistent with the nature, level and responsibilities of the role
OPERATIONS, PEOPLE AND GOVERNANCE (guide c.15%) – scope dependent on number of hours worked
- Support the Senior Finance and Operations Manager with the delivery of the finance and operations team’s objectives
- Support the implementation of new systems and processes to improve operational workflows, with a dedication to continuous improvement
- Understand the programmatic work via the building of strong relationships across Access to be able to provide support to other areas of the business.

As an integral part of the London Irish Centre's Community services, the Advice Service collaborates with our Support Service, Citizenship and Identity, Health Navigation, Community Programmes (responsible for events and activities), and our specialized Survivor Integrated Service. Together, we strive to deliver community-led and best-practice support.
About You
- You have solid experience advising on welfare benefits and housing law, including issues like homelessness, poverty, and disability benefits.

Purpose:
The Enhanced Support & Grants Team Manager is instrumental in ensuring our clients who present with the most complex and vulnerable of situations receive specialised, tailored support to achieve financial stability and become debt-free. Including monitoring CAP’s Grants team who secure financial support for those accessing insolvency options.
Your key focus is to lead and empower a team of specialist Debt Advisors who operate at the intersection of complex financial distress and significant personal vulnerability. This involves not just triaging and assessing, but creating holistic, life-changing solutions while continuously monitoring and proactively intervening in clients' safeguarding and wellbeing needs. Fullers Mill Garden is an enchanting and tranquil waterside and woodland garden, situated on the banks of the River Lark at West Stow in Suffolk. It combines a beautiful site of light dappled woodland with a fabulous collection of rare and unusual shrubs, perennials, lilies and marginal plants, collected over the course of 50 years by the creator of the garden, the late Bernard Tickner MBE.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Fullers Mill Garden into its next chapter as a Perennial garden, maintaining and evolving a beautiful garden with a team of gardeners, volunteers and trainees – to give our garden loving visitors a magical experience on each visit. The garden is currently undergoing a process of proposed investment in its visitor infrastructure. The Garden Manager will be a key member of the project team.
Overall purpose

Main responsibilities and duties
1. Management of gardens and landscape
a. To be responsible for the maintenance and management of the garden and its associated landscape within an approved budget.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a senior hands-on role accountable to the Wolves Lane Consortium board who hold the 25-year lease for the Centre, and reporting to co-managing steward Ubele Initiative CIC whose investment has made this role possible and is the employing organisation.
This results-oriented role is pivotal to strengthening the Centre’s long-term financial resilience while maintaining its strong community ethos and aligning with the vision and mission. This to be achieved through identifying, developing and securing new income streams and expanding existing to generate gross profit, to contribute to overall running costs, and to generate sufficient yield for Consortium’s reserves and on-going investment.
Income streams to include from business to business, and retail sales; from increasing venue hires and event revenues; expanding value-partnerships with different sectors, and joint ventures; and at all times ensuring robust financial and performance oversight.
The postholder will be required to develop an Income Generation Strategy for approval by the Board and will be responsible for all its commercial elements. CO-LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
Working on behalf of the Wolves Lane Consortium, informed fully by and reporting to co-stewards Ubele CIC, and sharing the leadership and management of the Centre with the Facilities & Operations Manager, together you will be relied upon for the Centre’s success in pursuing its strategic and annual plans, and in what it does and how it does it.
The Facilities and Operations role is primarily to ensure the Centre is fit for all of its many different purposes; provides all users and visitors with a safe environment for their operations and activities, and a pleasant, rewarding, inspiring experience that results in return visits, longer dwell time. And in so doing reaches and attracts new audiences and more custom.
The Community Enterprise role is predominantly outward facing - to create, attract and secure new and increased income streams through more sales of its products, services and offer; to co-create with entrepreneurs’ new community-based enterprise models and for joint ventures; to secure more investment from philanthropic and individual donations, and for funded programmes from new and existing partners.

The Role
As Compliance Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of statutory compliance programmes across the housing portfolio, ensuring legal, regulatory and organisational requirements are consistently achieved.
You'll lead contractor performance, manage compliance risk, maintain robust compliance records and provide assurance through high-quality reporting, helping the organisation remain continuously audit-ready.
Working closely with Building Safety, Asset Management and operational teams, you'll play a key role in embedding a proactive, resident-focused culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational delivery of statutory compliance programmes across the housing portfolio.
- Manage compliance across the Big 6 (FLAGEL) disciplines, including:
- Gas Safety
- Fire Safety
- Electrical Safety
- Asbestos
- Water Hygiene / Legionella
- Lifts & LOLER
- Ensure all inspections, servicing and remedial works are completed within statutory and organisational timescales.
- Manage compliance contractors, consultants and specialist service providers, driving high performance and value for money.
- Chair regular contract performance meetings, monitoring KPIs, SLAs, compliance performance and resident outcomes.
- Review and validate compliance certification, contractor reporting and statutory records.
- Maintain accurate and auditable compliance data across asset and compliance management systems.

We’re looking for a Service Designer to help us develop a new corporate-facing offer as part of our growing partnerships and corporate services.
This is a hands-on opportunity to shape a clear, scalable product or service that can be delivered to organisations, building on our existing workshops, training and engagement activity.

Are you an experienced IDVA, ready to work with a creative and dynamic team, advocating for women, families and the LGBT+ community who have experienced Domestic Abuse? Then join us to lead a team of specialist caseworkers, supporting survivors to address practical issues and empower them in their recovery!
The RISE Team Leader will be a skilled independent domestic and sexual violence advocate who will oversee a small team of case and group workers as well as managing Helpline volunteers. She will be a qualified IDVA and ISVA or be willing to complete the accreditations in the first six months in post.
She will hold a caseload of her own and coordinate a team providing support and guidance through a range of interventions and support offers working closely with an experienced Manager and other Team Leaders. Together with their team they will build, maintain and create links to deliver survivor-focused, trauma aware/ responsive support to help survivors and their family to cope and recover.
They will be the lead on developing, implementing and coordinating the Helpline, Casework and Projects with day-to-day practice oversight of staff and volunteers. The Team Leader will work co-operatively and flexibly alongside RISE colleagues providing expert input and contributing to the effective running of the organisation as a whole.
