This role requires someone with experience in legacy administration and promotion and/or in memory fundraising, as well as excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset. We need someone with previous experience in relationship management and income generation - ideally within a legacy and/or in memory setting - who is able to lead and inspire our supporters and staff in order to generate long term income and awareness for the charity.

To be successful in this role you will: 

• Lead the development and delivery of legacy marketing and in-memory fundraising strategies to drive sustained income growth and supporter retention
• Be self-motivated, independent and target-driven
• Act as the subject matter expert on legacy administration and in-memory giving, providing guidance, training, and mentoring while promoting a strong culture of philanthropy
• Manage all aspects of legacy casework, including complex and contentious cases, ensuring effective stakeholder relationships and full compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice standards
• Oversee data management, reporting, and analysis to generate insights, improve processes, and support accurate forecasting and long-term financial planning
• Collaborate across teams to maximise fundraising opportunities, enhance donor engagement across channels, and deliver impactful events and integrated giving initiatives
• Posses a natural confidence in talking to people with high emotional intelligence and resilience due to the sensitive nature of the role, with excellent communication and relationship building skills.

The Director of Major Gifts is a frontline fundraiser responsible for driving philanthropic growth by managing a portfolio of high-impact donors. This role focuses on identifying, cultivating, and stewarding prospects capable of leadership annual, major, and planned gifts. As a key collaborator within the development team, the Director of Major Gifts aligns donor passions with institutional strategic initiatives to foster a vibrant culture of giving.

Summary of duties and responsibilities:

• Manage a targeted portfolio of 75-100 major gift prospects, developing bespoke "moves management" plans to transition prospects into committed donors

• Implement individualized strategies that align a prospect’s philanthropic goals with institutional needs, utilizing data and research to inform appropriate ask amounts

• Collaborate with the Director of Development and Giving Manager to draft compelling gift proposals, case statements, and donor-facing materials

• Partner with the Director of Development Services to execute creative cultivation plans and ensure all activities, meetings, and outcomes are documented in the CRM for team-wide transparency

• Support high-priority campaigns, special initiatives, and fundraising events. Attend school and Advancement-hosted events to build community presence

• Work alongside Development colleagues and volunteers to deliver high-touch stewardship and impactful gift reporting

Essential qualifications/experience:

• Substantive progressive frontline fundraising experience with a proven track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts

• Building and developing effective relationships

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, highly organized and a problem-solver, positive and friendly, strong people management and interpersonal skills

• High emotional intelligence, attentive listening, and the ability to build credibility with major prospect stakeholders

• Willingness to travel internationally and attend events outside of School hours and on weekends

• A steadfast commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children

Desirable qualifications/experience:

• Advanced degree preferred

• Knowledge proficiency in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge

This is a great opportunity to join our management team at Vauxhall City Farm, with a role combining overseeing daily café operations, events and bookings, and opportunities to develop catering and events, support income generation, and embed sustainable practices.

The role will take ownership of service standards, team development, and commercial performance, ensuring the café operates efficiently while delivering a consistently high-quality visitor experience. This role combines day to day operational leadership with longer term planning and performance management.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Sussex Community Housing Hub team in providing technical advice and support to communities engaged in rural and community led housing projects.

Community-led housing involves local people playing a leading and lasting role in solving housing problems, creating genuinely affordable homes and strong communities.

You will be working in conjunction with other members of the Hub to help deliver quality affordable housing schemes that these communities are truly proud of.  

The role

This is a senior, externally facing post reporting to the Chief Executive. You'll manage a caseload of community-led housing projects, lead a small team of advisors, and work in partnership with communities, parish councils, housing associations, local authorities, landowners, and developers across East and West Sussex.

You'll also play a part in shaping Druv Homes, AirS's emerging housing association.

What you'll be doing

• Guiding community groups through all stages of the housing development process — from vision and site identification through to planning, funding, and scheme delivery
• Advising on site selection, RP partnerships, planning applications, S106 agreements, and funding strategies (both capital and revenue)
• Building and managing relationships with a wide range of partners — communities, RPs, local authorities, planners, developers, and agents
• Supporting communities to access funding and drafting bids where needed
• Overseeing professional advisers (architects, engineers, etc.) commissioned by community groups
• Leading project team meetings, maintaining project plans, and problem-solving
• Contributing to lobbying and sector advocacy alongside national partners
• Keeping pace with policy and legislative changes in affordable housing and community-led development

What we're looking for

Essential:

• At least 5 years' experience in affordable housing development
• A relevant degree (surveying, building, business management or equivalent experience)
• Proven track record in project management and scheme delivery

Desirable:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to lead and oversee the housekeeping, laundry, portering, gardening, catering, and maintenance teams at Royal Trinity Hospice. This role involves ensuring a safe, compliant, and compassionate environment for patients, staff, tenants, and visitors by maintaining high standards of facilities management.

Overall purpose of the role

• Lead and deliver an effective housekeeping operation ensuring systems and processes are efficient and aligned with organisational goals.

The role of the Policy and Public Affairs Manager is a high-impact role, central to designing and delivering Magic Breakfast’s national policy and public affairs strategy in England. The role holder will lead the development of evidence-based policy positions and work collaboratively to drive forward strategic, integrated and impactful advocacy campaigns to successfully influence decision-makers, policy change, and funding frameworks aligned with our key objectives. Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial professional to lead and grow our charity’s trading arm, YDMTCL. This is a newly created and exciting opportunity for someone with strong business development and leadership skills to build on the success of our Landscape Design team, while also originating and leading your own projects to strengthen commercial performance and impact.

About the role 

YDMTCL currently delivers landscape design services through a team of two Landscape Architects, working across urban, rural and community regeneration projects. The team combines strong technical expertise with creative design skills to deliver high quality green infrastructure and green space solutions.

The company currently has an annual turnover of under £100,000 and a clear ambition to double this over the next two to three years. This role will lead on Events management for Oasis Hub Waterloo with a focus on securing funds for Lambeth & Croydon Foodbank (which is part of Oasis Hub Waterloo) and our associated services.

Our events team is bold and innovative, working across a wide portfolio of fundraising and engagement events including our annual flagship fundraising walk, The Twilight Walk, an exciting challenge event portfolio and a growing special events programme. · Act as the main liaison with event providers

About the Role

About You

The successful candidate will bring proven experience in delivering community fundraising, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences across a range of formats. They will have knowledge of developing social media content and producing branded publicity materials, as well as strong organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The role requires confidence with IT systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and CRM databases, with experience of Salesforce and creative design tools such as Canva being desirable. A strong understanding of, and commitment to, equity, diversity and inclusion, particularly within the context of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector, is essential. The postholder will be committed to continuous learning and professional development and will be able to work both independently and collaboratively, using initiative and sound judgement as part of a team.
