This Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts & Foundations) role will be responsible for securing and stewarding significant philanthropic gifts working in partnership with senior stakeholders of the University. They will use their fundraising experience and communication skills to secure philanthropic gifts at the £50k to £5mil level from Trusts & Foundations (T&Fs), working in partnership with senior stakeholders on their fundraising efforts, and championing the work and priorities of King’s College London.

They will be part of a team playing a crucial role in the delivery of the University’s ambition to significantly scale philanthropy income, as we prepare to launch our next major fundraising campaign in 2027 and mark the university’s bicentenary in 2029.
The successful candidate will lead on cultivating and stewarding a portfolio of high value T&F prospects and donors, developing long term, strategic relationships that result in philanthropic gifts. Working in close partnership with senior academic and clinical leaders, you will shape and articulate funding propositions that resonate with philanthropic partners and align with King’s institutional and campaign priorities.

About Action Tutoring
At Action Tutoring, we believe every child should be given the opportunity to succeed in school. But in the UK today, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to
achieve the grades they need to progress in life. This isn't because they are any less able; they have less access to the tools to help them reach their potential.
We don't think this is fair. We know tutoring is an effective way of improving academic attainment and so we harness the power of volunteer tutors to bridge the gap and ensure this help can be accessed by every pupil who needs it, not just those who can afford it.
We specifically help pupils facing socio-economic disadvantage and who are at risk of leaving primary or secondary school without reaching national standards in their exams. We work in partnership with schools in different cities and regions across the UK, delivering weekly tutoring in English or maths to those pupils who need it most.
About the opportunity
We are looking for a strong candidate with formal teaching qualifications and experience teaching core National Curriculum subjects to join our established Impact and Quality department as Curriculum and Quality Manager. This role has oversight for ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality, tailored tutoring resources for pupils and tutors, and managing the quality assurance processes within our organisation. This role includes line managing a team composed of two Curriculum Leads. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Department to provide matrix project leadership for the delivery of Initial Tutor Training.
To achieve this, we are looking for a candidate with experience teaching either English or maths (or equivalent) with a willingness to quickly understand the curriculum requirements in the other subject. You will have a strong understanding of how to set the standard for excellent tutor training and tutor quality assurance, using your educational expertise to shape effective training and quality assurance frameworks that enable tutors of varying experience levels to flourish. This is an exciting opportunity to join the New Economics Foundation to work as a community organiser on the Women Bridging Communities programme in Greater Manchester.
At its core, the programme responds to a critical and growing challenge: the erosion of trust, increasing polarisation, and fragmentation across communities in the UK. The programmes centres the distinct role women already play in sustaining communities.
Women Bridging Communities creates the conditions for women across differences to come together, build relationships, strengthen relational power, and shape the spaces where decisions and influence sit.
Reporting to the Senior Community Organiser, your focus will be on building the power and leadership of women in Greater Manchester in order to tackle polarisation through collective action. This work will involve developing leaders’ organising craft and leadership, listening to people about the issues in their local areas, identifying local campaigns and leaders, and equipping people with organising skills to take action together at a local and regional level.
You will need to be an experienced organiser and campaigner. You must have a demonstratable commitment to women and addressing polarisation, and be skilled in facilitation and communication with a wide range of audiences. About the role:
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join our customer services team and deliver exceptional services to residents? We are currently seeking a Senior Customer Services Advisor to join the team and help us embed a culture of customer excellence through our dedicated customer contact hub.
As part of this role, you will work alongside technical and housing specialists to offer first-line responses to resident enquiries.
In addition, you will support the Customer Services Manager in supervising and advising a team of Customer Services Advisors. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our residents while developing your career.
About you:
Are you an experienced customer services professional, ideally with a background in housing associations or property-related environments? We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
As the Senior Customer Services Advisor, you will need to have strong administrative and organisational skills to deliver day-to-day operational activities, with supervisory experience being desirable. An understanding of property maintenance and tenancy management, along with knowledge of rural communities, is essential to succeed in this role.

The Director of Place, Programmes and Delivery provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the charity’s programmes and projects, including our Place Expansion work, ensuring they are high-quality, impactful, and aligned with the organisation’s mission and values. The role is responsible for translating strategic objectives into effective delivery, embedding learning and improvement, and ensuring programmes are sustainable, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of funders.
You will have a strong understanding of risk management, developing senior relationships with key partner agencies, able to take decisive and proactive actions to ensure smooth execution of programmes.
You will be purposeful and collaborative with the ability to manage multiple complex programmes at one time. The current programmes you will be responsible for include: Safeguarding and Welfare, Playzones, and Place Expansion. You will also be responsible for all of our Project work.
Being the senior leader responsible for our Place Expansion work will be a substantial part of this role. Place-based working in this sector is still emerging and operates within complex local systems, requiring the ability to navigate, influence and align a wide range of partners, often with different priorities, accountabilities and constraints.
You will also be the lead senior officer responsible for Safeguarding.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Programmes, Delivery and Place contributes to organisational strategy, resource planning, and organisational culture. You will also regularly attend Board meetings and Sub-Committee meetings as required.
