Our client is a national charity dedicated to tackling anti-Muslim hate and supporting those affected by it. Through victim support, research, community engagement and policy influence, they work to challenge Islamophobia and create lasting change. As the Trust expands its national reach, they are strengthening the senior leadership team to increase its impact, deepen the evidence base and ensure the voices and experiences of Muslim communities are reflected in both public policy and service delivery. This is a brand new position for the trust which will focus on building and developing relationships with Muslim communities across the UK, ensuring that community voice, needs and experience shape everything they do. The Head of Community Engagement and Outreach will develop and deliver a national community engagement strategy, prioritising areas of greatest need, building and sustaining relationships with mosques, community organisations, faith networks and grassroots groups across the UK. You will design and deliver outreach programmes that raise awareness of the trust's support services, build trust with communities and will grow their network of volunteers and ambassadors. You will also lead on the design and delivery of training programmes, delivered to a range of external partners, covering a range of important topics including community resilience, reporting a hate crime, and wellbeing support.
To apply for this multifaceted role, you will have significant experience of community engagement, outreach or partnership development, ideally within the charity, faith or public sector. You will have excellent relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage community leaders, statutory partners and volunteers and will possess sound judgement, integrity and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information, delicate issues and vulnerable individuals. You will also have experience of designing and delivering tailored training programmes to diverse audiences, including community groups and institutional partners. A strong understanding of the issues facing Muslim communities in the UK, and the barriers to reporting hate crime is essential.

Code Your Future trains dedicated people in poverty to change their lives by getting good jobs in the software industry. We have helped hundreds of people get jobs so far, including at companies like Google, Slack, HashiCorp, Thoughtworks, and Capgemini. About the role:

You will play a key role in producing management information, analysing trends, and supporting the development of annual budgets and forecasts across a diverse range of services.

We're looking for a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience and a proven ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, and the production of high-quality management information within tight deadlines. You will be highly skilled in data management and analysis, with advanced experience of financial systems, report writing, and spreadsheets, and the ability to combine information from multiple sources to provide clear, actionable recommendations. Working closely with senior budget holders and stakeholders across the organisation, you will use your analytical skills to identify trends, explain performance, and support informed business decisions.
As an excellent communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, you will be confident building effective relationships at all levels and influencing stakeholders through a collaborative, diplomatic, and customer-focused approach. The post holder will be responsible for the following:
Finance
Maintain appropriate and comprehensive finance and accounting policies and procedures including payment authorisations, cash management etc.
Provide clear and accurate financial information, budgets and forecasts to the trustees, CEO fundraising team and other departments as required.
Manage strategic relationship with key partner organisations such as bookkeepers/auditors/payroll providers/banks etc.

Overall responsibility for compliance with all legislation / codes.
Ensure Companies House, Charity Commission, HMRC and Pensions Regulator requirements
are met in a timely fashion.
Risk management
Overall responsibility for risk management, including timely and accurate completion of relevant risk assessments, maintaining and developing the organisation's risk register, and procuring and maintaining appropriate insurance cover.
Overall functional responsibility for health and safety.
Office Management
Overall responsibility for information technology across the organisation, which is implemented day-to-day by the IT support providers.
