Black Thrive is looking for a Project Officer to support community-led change as we improve Black LGBTQ+ mental health and wellbeing across the Black Thrive localities through our programme Black Queer & Thriving.

Black Thrive Global evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people in Lambeth. Black people’s cumulative exposure to negative experiences and poor outcomes are not unique to Lambeth and Black Thrive Global was founded in 2020 to address the detrimental outcomes for Black people of African and Caribbean descent wherever they may be located.

We're looking for someone who is confident in supporting the design and delivery of community-led research projects, supporting community engagement activities and providing administrative support to the programme. An understanding of health inequities, systemic racism and the experiences of Black LGBTQ+ communities is essential.

As Senior New Business Manager, you will lead the new business function of our high-performing and ambitious Corporate Partnerships team. You will be responsible for driving new corporate income by identifying, cultivating and securing major partnerships. You will lead all new business activity with the New Business Manager, from proactive outreach and developing compelling propositions to successfully negotiating and onboarding new partners. 

Working closely with teams across the Charity and The Royal Marsden, you will create partnership proposals that align corporate objectives with those of the Charity. You will also lead long‑term strategic planning of the function, support the development of our Corporate Partnerships Board, and ensure the highest standards of reporting, forecasting and data management.

Outline of Role
As RCF enters this exciting stage, there is huge demand for our support in a wide range of global contexts, and our key challenge is to ensure we have robust institutional capacity - systems and procedures - to attract and effectively administer growing levels of investment.

As RCF attracts multi-year funding from a wider range of partners – including large grant providers and high-net-worth individuals - we need greater financial management capacity to ensure we are managing our resources responsibly and effectively. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We’re searching for a dynamic and innovative project leader who is skilled in supporting marginalised young people and who is able to forge a new approach to meeting their needs.

Westminster City Council, Young Westminster Foundation and John Lyon’s Charity are working with DreamArts to help join up services for young people with caring responsibilities. The Carers Express Project Lead will be responsible for leading Carers Express, DreamArts flagship project for young people with caring responsibilities living or studying in Westminster.

You will be responsible for producing and delivering creative and therapeutic activities for the Juniors (7-11) and Seniors (12-18) Carers Express cohort. The project should be thought of with a strategic and long-term vision that supports young people to use creativity to explore and extend meaning to the challenges they face, build a sense of belonging with peers sharing their experience and be supported with their emotional wellbeing. This will include projects in school holidays, residentials (e.g. attending the UK Young Carers Festival) and phases of evening/weekend workshops. You will act as lead facilitator and will be supported by a freelance Wellbeing Practitioner.

You will also manage a caseload of Young Carers aged 11-16, providing 1:1 support to newly identified carers and/or young carers experiencing key life transitions, e.g., primary school to secondary school. Where possible, you will assess and respond to individual needs, build positive mentoring relationships, and signpost or refer young people to appropriate support services within DreamArts or external partner organisations. Outside of your case load, you will build relationships with all Carers Express participants and their families to sustain their engagement through regular check-ins.

The role includes training and development in therapeutic approaches applied within DreamArts, including the PACE attachment model, and you will receive regular reflection spaces with our Therapeutic Consultant to process your work and ‘therapeutic lens’ sessions exploring approaches for supporting the wellbeing needs of young people in your planning, delivery and evaluation.

MAIN ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES​

1.  Producing, delivering and managing the ongoing Carers Express project to meet the needs and interests of Young Carer participants with a strategic and long-term vision.
2. Coordinate with facilitators and partner organisations to deliver engaging and relevant sessions. This includes conducting team planning and debriefs and working with the Young Carers Programme Manager to ensure the team has the necessary skills and training to deliver the project.
3. Ensure that Carers Express maintains a high standard of quality and is managed and delivered within the context of DreamArts Theory of Change, including implementing monitoring and evaluation systems
4. Ensure the project and its delivery are underpinned by autonomous participation and equality of opportunity. This includes engaging young people at every level of the programme, identifying and responding to their needs and interests, and positively challenging and expanding their knowledge and experience.
5. Apply a relational approach underpinned by the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy. Training in PACE will be provided.
6. Deliver outreach activities to increase awareness and referrals to Carers Express.
7. Liaise with referral partners, including Westminster Early Help Service, schools, professionals and partners to identify Young Carers and inform them of participants’ development.
8. Lead and line-manage a Wellbeing Practitioner who will support the pastoral needs of the group.
9. Manage resources, including ensuring venues are booked and collating all expenditure receipts.
10. Implement safeguarding and welfare and ensuring the project adheres to DreamArts Safeguarding Policy.
11. Take responsibility for Health and Safety within the project, including risk assessments, incident reporting and accident reporting.
12. Provide support for young people who may be facing particular challenges. This includes managing a caseload of young carers aged 11-16, providing tailored 1:1 support through home visits or online sessions with the aim of integrating them into the wider Carers Express project and Young Carers Pathway offer.
13. Aid the Young Carers Programme Manager to produce qualitative and quantitative data on the Carers Express Project for the end-of-year Young Carers Impact Report.
14. Keep abreast of developments in the young carers sector, identifying strategies, partnerships and key individuals. This includes initiating and responding to collaborative projects with other agencies.
15. Supporting the development of other aspects of the Young Carers Programme. This may include contributing to the delivery of Young Carers Awareness Training, providing relevant content for newsletters and other social media content, and cultivating/maintaining relationships with partner schools using our Young Carers Schools Package.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL

1. Proven track record of supporting the development of marginalised young people.
2. Proven track record of building relationships with young people and families.
3. Experience of organising and producing youth programmes for children, young people and/or communities.
4. A proven track record of delivering creative activities and a developed practice in facilitating for young people.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
6. Experience of cultivating relationships with community groups, senior internal and external colleagues and voluntary sector organisations.
7. Working knowledge of current issues facing Young Carers, and within the arts/cultural sector.
8. High level of initiative and leadership qualities.
9. Available to work during unsociable hours, including monthly Sunday sessions and a monthly evening session for our Juniors cohort.
10. Ability to listen, show empathy and support young people through different challenges. 
11. Good IT skills and confidence with Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft Office Apps.

DESIRABLE

About the role

This senior leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight of WGN’s Clinical Services, ensuring the delivery of innovative, safe, high-quality, survivor-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive therapeutic support for survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

As Head of Clinical Services, you will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering individual therapy, group work, body-based therapies and web-based counselling within WGN’s intersectional Black feminist framework and Holistic Empowerment Recovery (HER) Model. You will shape the strategic direction of clinical services, strengthen partnerships, embed strong clinical governance and safeguarding practice, and foster a culture of collective care, reflective practice and anti-oppressive leadership.

This role combines strategic leadership, service development, clinical oversight and people management to ensure WGN’s therapeutic services remain sector-leading, accessible and survivor-led.

About you

As Head of Clinical Services, you will:

• Provide strategic and clinical leadership across all therapeutic services, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, strengths-based and non-pathologising support within an intersectional feminist framework.

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, line managing senior clinical staff and embedding reflective practice, wellbeing and anti-oppressive leadership.

• Hold responsibility for safeguarding and risk management as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust case oversight and partnership working to keep survivors safe.

• Drive service development and innovation, using data, survivor feedback and best practice to shape responsive therapeutic pathways and specialist trauma interventions.

• Ensure equitable and inclusive access, strengthening referral pathways, managing demand with service managers and reducing barriers for marginalised survivors.

Kensington and Chelsea Scoial Council (KCSC) are seeking an organised and flexible Administrator to join their team.Working from home and from a base in Kensington and Chelsea, this is a part time hybrid role.

About KCSC

KCSC is the recognised voluntary sector ‘infrastructure’ organisation, also known as a Council for the Voluntary Sector (CVS), for the borough. Our members are voluntary and community groups and organisations serving residents of the borough. At KCSC we support organisations like these through the provision of news, training, advice and information. We also facilitate the voice of the local voluntary and community sector (VCS) and represent the sector at a strategic level.

Main purpose of the role 

• To provide administrative support in the running of KCSC’s office and activities.
• To maintain accurate attendance records on the database and update and maintain membership details.
• To provide administrative support to social prescribing programme My Care My Way using Charity Log.
• Respond to general enquiries from service users and the general public as required.

Events/Training

• Lead on supporting the delivery of KCSC events, training workshops and KCSC’s Annual General Meeting.  Take meeting actions and sending out pre-event and post-event communications.
• Use the CiviCRM database, website and other media to promote and publicise KCSC's external events to encourage maximum take up.
• Produce feedback forms, collate data and support the team with monitoring and reporting.

Communications 

• Ensure that the processes for managing communications and events work smoothly.
• Work with the Data and Comms Officer (DCO) to keep the website and database up to date including the routine administration of the database and website.
• Support the work of the DCO in communication with stakeholders.

Co-ordinate the WARM Network (Apr – Sept 2026)

• Coordinate and facilitate the Wellbeing and Resilience Mentor (WaRM) Network, which supports local voluntary sector staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality money guidance and referrals for residents experiencing financial hardship.
• Liaise with key national partners, including the Money and Pensions Service (MaPs) and Feeding Britain, and act as a central point of contact for Kensington and Chelsea’s voluntary and community sector (VCS) around financial wellbeing resources.
• Promote access to training, funding and networking opportunities that support organisations working with people at the sharpest end of the cost-of-living crisis.

Support for Health & Wellbeing Programme – My Care My Way

• Manage the NHS Self-Care email inboxes.
• Process all referrals to the Self-Care Programmes via Charity Log in a timely and accurate manner and ensure all appropriate information is received. Liaise with referrers and providers if information is insufficient.
• Act as the key point of contact for referrers and the contracted providers with regards to referrals.
• Provide Charity Log training and support to providers and partners.
• Use data collected on Charity Log to make recommendations on service-delivery changes and payments adjustments and carry out changes once approved.
• Support Project Officers with monthly monitoring when required.

General 

• Promote the role of KCSC and support its overall aims and activities.
• Utilise KCSC’s website and social media as a tool for communication with stakeholders as required.
• At all times, work within KCSC’s policies and procedures.
• Receive regular supervision from the line manager for the role and attend training courses as required.
• Work outside of normal office hours on occasional evening or weekends as required.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by the line manager for the role that are commensurate to the post.

We have created an exciting new position in our UK team for an ambitious and confident relationship fundraiser to contribute to ambitious fundraising targets and enable Human Practice Foundation’s (HPF) impactful education programmes.  Working closely with the UK Country Manager, the position will build on existing relationships with individuals who make significant personal donations, aiming to grow their contributions, as well as making approaches to new prospects, through compelling, donor-centred approaches and excellent stewardship. 

We are seeking a motivated, creative and confident individual, who thrives on getting out and about and meeting with supporters and can work proactively within a small team.You will have experience of securing gifts from high net-worth individuals making gifts privately or through family trusts, donor advised funds and corporations.

Founded in 2014 in Denmark, the Human Practice Foundation works in some of the most marginalised regions in Nepal and Kenya, where poverty and lack of opportunity keep children from reaching their potential. Our goal is simple but powerful: to empower children through education, so they can shape a better future for themselves and their communities. We take a long-term, holistic approach to this goal. Through our Child Empowerment Model, we build and upgrade school infrastructure, train teachers, support parents in creating sustainable incomes, and help students bridge the gap between education and employment. Conditions and Benefits:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Donor Identification, solicitation and management 

• Work with the UK Country Manager to grow the donor portfolio in the UK by identifying prospects, building relationships and secure gifts from high net-worth individuals and other philanthropic donors. 

• Identify and deliver unique stewardship and cultivation opportunities for donors.

• Manage a portfolio of major donors through various personalised approaches, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, events and written and verbal communications. 

• Ensure excellent and timely response to enquiries and stewardship and acknowledgement of gifts. 

Events coordination 

• Work with the UK Country Manager to help shape and deliver events and other engagement opportunities to generate income, cultivate and steward donors. 

• Take responsibility for tailored and timely event follow-up to maximise relationships and using learnings and data from past events to develop donor engagement, referrals and gifts. 

Research, communications and administration  

• Research potential new donors and funding streams.

• Support the production of proposals, pitches, reports and general supporter communications. 

• Use Salesforce to manage the accurate recording of interactions and progression related to all donor relationships 

• Provide executive assistance to the UK Country Manager and senior stakeholders in relation to scheduling supporter meetings, drafting communications and provision of information to underpin successful supporter engagement. 

• Maintain strong knowledge and understanding of HPF’s programmes. 

• Carry out administrative activities and other duties, as required, to maximise fundraising. 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience 

• Experience developing relationships with and securing funding from high-net-worth individuals and other philanthropic donors. 

• Entrepreneurial approach to relationship management and creating new fundraising initiatives. 

• Experience in coordination and delivery of bespoke, high-quality events for influential audiences. 

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and a proactive networker, able to act as a spokesperson and ambassador for HPF. 

• Experience of writing inspiring, emotive, and technically fundraising communications and materials tailored to a major donor audience. 

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills to prioritise and manage own workload. 

• Results driven self-starter, able to operate independently and under pressure, whilst also able to engage meaningfully in a virtual team. 

• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels, across multiple teams and geographies. 

• Strong IT skills, including an understanding of CRM systems.
