The South East Gambling Harms Partnership—a strategic collaboration across eight regional Citizens Advice offices (East Berkshire, West Berkshire, Reading, Wokingham and Basingstoke, Rushmore, Tadley and Hart)—has secured dedicated funding through the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID). We are launching a pioneering initiative across Berkshire and North Hampshire to identify, prevent, and reduce the devastating impacts of gambling harms.
We are recruiting for 8 roles to build this brand-new, regional project team. Roles based in Berkshire will be employed by Citizens Advice Wokingham and roles based in North Hampshire will be employed by Citizens Advice Hart
Training & Engagement Coordinator (2 x FTE)

● The Role: Build regional capacity by designing and delivering "Train the Trainer" packages. You will mentor outreach staff and coordinate workshops for local businesses and statutory partners. (1 based in Wokingham, 1 based in Hart).

You will be joining The Advocacy Project at a critical time as we enter the second year of our new strategy. Key to the success of the new strategy is developing a sustainable business model that moves us from a reliance on statutory income to a mixed portfolio of funding including trusts and foundations and paid for services. Focussing on growth we are looking to secure at least £250,000 new income annually while maintaining our current income levels, we aim to double our income by the end of our strategy in 2030.
As part of our senior leadership team, you will be agile and collaborative, a fundraising professional who has developed and delivered an income generation strategy and achieved income growth across multiple income streams, including developing commercial income streams, grants and statutory income. You will be hands on, getting stuck into applications, prospecting, communicating, and developing new income opportunities. Building strong relationships with staff, volunteers and service users, you will also have the ability to engage with stakeholders and build relationships externally. You will develop evidence-based and impact-led cases for support for various projects and must be able to unlock growth, develop new approaches and help communicate our impact.

In 2020, Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation (RNCSF) was appointed as delivery partner for the DfE’s Broadening Educational Pathways (BEP) scheme. The scheme’s ambition is to secure independent day and boarding school bursary placements and access to partnership activities for care experienced children. Since its launch more than 300 children in and on the ‘edge of’ care (“Care Experienced & Vulnerable Children – CEVC”) have been supported to thrive within over a hundred participating schools. Partnerships have been established with more than 80 local authorities.
We are looking for a Regional Coordinator on a fixed term contract of two years to work 0.5 FTE, 39 weeks per year, working out of Christ’s Hospital School. As regional coordinator you will need to combine excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement with strong organisational skills to ensure operational management. You will work with Local Authorities and schools in the SE division of HMC to support care experienced and vulnerable children to access bursary support at independent day and boardign schools.

With nationally recognised, award-winning partnerships as our platform, matched with a record-high brand sentiment rating, a highly prominent cause and a marketplace looking for long-term strategic partnerships, we are building the team infrastructure to maximise our strong position through the launch of two developed functions – Account Development and Business Development.
What the job involves
This is a key role focused on delivering, growing and developing some of our most important and high-profile partnerships. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of major partners, building on strong existing relationships and turning them into long-term, strategic collaborations that deliver real impact and sustained income.
Working within our Account Development team, you’ll look beyond day-to-day delivery to unlock new opportunities. You’ll spot where partnerships can grow, whether that’s through extending existing activity, opening up new areas of collaboration or bringing fresh ideas that add value for both sides. A big part of the role is building trusted, senior-level relationships and using those connections to deepen engagement and create further opportunities.

What we want from you
We’re looking for a Partnership Development Manager who brings a strong track record of delivering high-quality campaigns and partnerships that drive genuine, sustained income growth. You’ll be skilled in managing and developing major partnerships, with experience of working at a high-value level in either the charity sector or a comparable commercial environment. Alongside this, you’ll bring a strategic mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities, think creatively and turn ideas into meaningful, long-term value.
Building strong relationships will come naturally to you. You’ll be comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, bringing credibility, clarity and confidence to your conversations. About the Role
The Sheffield Therapeutic Services for Resettled Refugees (STSRR) is based within therapeutic services in the Resettlement Team in South Yorkshire. The Resettlement team provides advice and support for resettled refugees to help them access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies, the Refugee Council Resettlement team promotes both the integration and independence of this group.
The Psychological Therapist role is to provide one-to-one psychological therapy to resettled refugees presenting with mental distress. We have adopted a psychosocial perspective and use a specially tailored care model to address the needs of our clients. The team have supported resettled adult refugees in South Yorkshire by providing short-term one-to-one therapeutic support since September 2017.
Hours: Part-time, 7 hours per week.

About the role
We are looking for a dynamic, creative, innovative team player to join our Young People and Families Service.This role will be based in the North West, as a homeworker, but will also support service delivery across the UK.

Two positions will be offered with a permanent contract, and the additional two will be 12-month fixed term contracts.
The Role:
• Produce accurate monthly management accounts with clear commentary to support informed decision-making.
• Work closely with senior leaders and budget holders to deliver approved budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial regulations, Charity Commission rules and other regulatory bodies.
• Review and enhance financial systems, reporting tools and working practices to strengthen efficiency.
• Provide financial risk assessments and create scenario models to support strategic planning and change control.
• Influence and advise budget holders and senior leaders, ensuring accountability for financial decisions.
• This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required no more than once a month on average.
The Candidate:
• Proven experience preparing, reviewing and analysing monthly management accounts.
• Skilled at partnering with budget holders and senior leaders to deliver accurate budgets and forecasts.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, charity regulations and best practice guidelines.
• Confident in risk analysis, reconciliations, variance analysis and presenting clear recommendations.
• Experience of using financial systems, specifically Business World, would be advantageous.
• Possess one of the following qualifications: ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAS or CIPFA.
