About the role
This is a key support role at the heart of Housing Justice, providing high-quality, proactive and highly organised executive support to the CEO and senior leadership team in a fast-moving national charity environment. The postholder plays a critical role in enabling the CEO and Directors to operate effectively, requiring excellent diary management, strong judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities and anticipate organisational needs. The role also involves coordinating meetings end-to-end, ensuring they are well-structured and outcome-focused, including preparing agendas, capturing accurate notes, maintaining action logs, and proactively following up to ensure timely completion.
About you

Job Purpose
The hospital to home service works collaboratively with hospitals to support people when they are discharged from hospital to return home. As a Hospital to Home Outreach Worker, you will provide temporary, practical and emotional support to service users within their home and make sure they understand the care and local community services available to them.
The service is time limited, usually up to 4 or 6 weeks, to adjust and settle back in their homes.
Key Tasks

Assess the needs of service user’s either in hospital before discharge, or in their homes, and understand what barriers and enablers there might be to moving home.

Aid the discharge process and improve patient experience through tasks such as:

Key cutting

Co-ordinating with colleagues for the setup of the home environment such as checking fridge for in-date food

Checking heating, electric and gas is functional prior to discharge

Allowing access to the property for cleaning/repairs and receiving equipment

Provide and/or arrange the practical and emotional support needed to enable service users to return home and/or remain safely at home.

Be vigilant and make referrals/signpost for additional needs that our wider team, or partners can support. E.g. for benefit checks, energy advice, carers support, befriending.

Help maximise service user independence by adopting an enabling approach.

Develop a listening, caring and professional relationship with the service user and their families/carers.

Provide domestic practical support within the home such as:

Role Purpose
As Payroll Lead, you will manage HOST’s global payroll operations — ensuring that all staff, contractors, and hosted partners are paid accurately, compliantly, and on time.
You will bring structure, care, and precision to one of HOST’s most essential services: ensuring the people driving climate and social action receive the financial stability they need to do their best work.
This role supports both internal HOST staff and hosted partners, liaising across HR, Finance, and Community Support to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient payroll management. You will also help develop new systems and processes as HOST expands internationally, ensuring our operations remain smooth, transparent, and aligned with local legislation.
Core Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management
- Manage all aspects of monthly payroll for UK and international employees, contractors, and hosted partner staff.
- Prepare and process payroll changes (new hires, terminations, pay adjustments) in line with internal procedures.
- Ensure timely submission of payroll information to Finance and external providers.
- Reconcile payroll each month, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Reporting cadence: Monthly payroll cycle; quarterly summary to Operations Director.
2. Compliance and Record-Keeping
- Ensure full compliance with UK employment law, tax regulations, and international payroll requirements in collaboration with external providers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee and contractor records.
- Support statutory reporting, including PAYE, HMRC, and pension submissions.
- Liaise with HOST’s Finance Team on audits and compliance reviews.
Reporting cadence: Monthly compliance report; annual payroll compliance review.
3. System Management and Improvement
- Maintain and improve digital payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and secure integration with Finance and HR tools.
- Support the development of HOSTHub payroll features and automation processes with the Tech Team.
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and strengthen reporting.
Reporting cadence: Quarterly system and process improvement review.
4. Contractor and International Payroll Support
- Coordinate with the Community Support and Finance Teams to process international contractor payments, ensuring correct deductions and documentation.
- Liaise with local payroll providers and Employer of Record (EoR) partners to ensure compliance in each jurisdiction.
- Track and report on cross-border payroll performance and issue resolution.
Reporting cadence: Monthly report; immediate escalation of compliance concerns.
5. HR and Staff Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll queries from staff and contractors, providing clear and timely responses.
- Collaborate with the HR & Operations teams to ensure policies and processes reflect payroll updates and legislation.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and contractors.

6. Risk and Confidentiality
- Identify potential payroll or compliance risks, escalating concerns to the Operations Director and Finance Manager.
- Ensure all payroll data and personal information are handled securely, in line with GDPR and HOST’s data protection policies.

The role
We are looking for a sharp, experienced communications professional to lead ASL's voice and drive its communications strategy at a pivotal moment in the organisation's growth. This is a senior, strategy-led role for someone who combines rigorous campaign instincts with genuine digital fluency.
About you
You have at least 8 years' experience in senior communications roles, ideally within campaigning or purpose-driven organisations. You have a track record of delivering communications campaigns with measurable real-world impact.
Critically, you are a digital native. You understand how campaigns live and die on social platforms, how to build and activate online audiences, and how to use data to test, iterate and sharpen messaging in real time. You are confident navigating the rapidly changing media landscape and as comfortable crafting a social campaign as you are pitching a broadsheet journalist.

Engagement Partner London
Location of work: London, must live within the M25. This post holder will be based at home and will deliver a hybrid model of engagement, combining in-person visits to schools and other establishments within an allocated local area with remote engagement.

JOB PURPOSE
Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The Engagement Partner will be responsible for delivering both face to face and remote engagement with schools, teachers, children and young people, and their wider communities within an allocated area. The role will support schools with the setup, rollout and continuous improvement of breakfast provision, and engage with school communities to educate on the importance of breakfast on learning, enabling increased uptake in a barrier and stigma free way by optimising provision and encouraging reach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To develop strong relationships with supported schools in the allocated area, enabling, preserving, embedding, enhancing and extending stigma- and barrier-free breakfast provision through a combination of in person and remote engagement.

To educate and engage the wider school community, including teachers, parents and children and young people, on the importance of breakfast and the implications of hunger as a barrier to learning through assemblies, staff meetings, online support, virtual and in-person events, and regional events throughout the academic year.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Partnership development

Identify, research, and secure new commercial and corporate partnership opportunities aligned with AdviceUK’s strategic and income generation priorities.
- Develop compelling partnership propositions, including sponsorships, strategic alliances, product/service developments, cause‑related marketing, corporate social responsibility, and other commercial collaborations.

Identify and develop new products and services that benefit members, grow income, and support member recruitment and retention.

Shape new products and services with user and sector insight, applying structured approaches to testing, evaluation and scaling. Ensure that pricing, return on investment and other financial modelling is completed to demonstrate how new products or services deliver agreed objectives.

We are looking for an experienced, thoughtful Operations Lead to join our small,
purpose-led CIC. The Operations Lead is central to how Power & Integrity functions day-
to-day, supporting both the running of operations and the development of the systems
and processes that help us work more effectively as we grow. The postholder holds the
operational backbone of the organisation, providing trusted executive and
administrative support, coordinating our consultancy portfolio, supporting financial

Young Sounds UK is recruiting for a full-time Finance and Reporting Officer to join our team.
Role overview
The Finance and Reporting Officer will be responsible for the effective day to day running of the charity’s finance function, by processing transactions accurately, maintaining robust financial records, carrying out month-end activities, and providing financial information to budget holders and senior staff.
Alongside this the role has an important part to play in data management and activity reporting. Working with the Data Officer you’ll assist with the maintenance and interrogation of programme monitoring data, ensuring information is accurate and timely.
You’ll need to be organised and with a great attention to detail. We’re seeking someone who is output orientated, whilst able to ensure the integrity of the information being presented. You’ll also need to be thorough at a transactional level yet able to summarise efficiently to a range of audiences.
Working with a broad range of stakeholders across the team, as well as trustees, auditors and external suppliers, you’ll need clear communication skills including being able to communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues. It’s a busy role and you’ll need to be adept at juggling a variety of responsibilities at the same time.

Young Sounds exists because musical talent is everywhere but opportunity isn’t: family finances and other obstacles too often get in the way. We’re here to change this in two key ways:
- We support young musicians from low-income families with funding and other help;
