Our client has an unparalleled history as a pioneering repertory theatre and the launchpad for some of the most exciting talent in UK theatre both past and present. Established in 1913, producing theatre is the core of the organisation's mission and it creates up to ten productions a year. Now, the team will hire a new Director of Fundraising and Prospectus is leading the search.

The Director of Fundraising is responsible for the delivery and growth of all contributed income, leading the development and management of fundraising targets and budgets, with a primary focus on trusts and foundations, alongside other fundraising routes including major donors, corporate partnerships, individual giving, membership, patrons and events. The postholder will ensure a detailed and sustainable fundraising strategy is implemented and will expand and cultivate prospective supporters across all income steams, managing a brilliant team and working closely with colleagues in Creative Learning and Talent Development departments.  

The selected candidate will have a proven track record of accomplishment in fundraising and will be able to demonstrate strategic thinking ideally within an arts fundraising setting. Capital fundraising experience and knowledge will be key too, with the postholder able to demonstrate a track record of telling compelling stories to captivate donors for revenue and capital fundraising asks.  You will have a proven track record of significant fundraising across a variety of sources and will ideally have experience of creating and implementing ambitious and credible fundraising strategies and delivery plans.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with three days a week in the office.

We are recruiting a Volunteer Manager to join our Communities, Older Adults and Volunteering team. The postholder will lead the Bolder Healthier Community Champions Volunteer Programme, overseeing the full volunteer journey from recruitment through to ongoing engagement. This includes coordinating recruitment through the Volunteer Brum digital platform, ensuring volunteers are effectively onboarded and inducted, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records. You will work closely with local delivery partners to support them in involving and supporting volunteers in their areas, while also developing engaging content for volunteer sessions.

You will also lead activity within the Blues Go Green funded programme, building strong relationships with partner organisations and attending regular partnership meetings. The role involves supporting the development and delivery of volunteering activity in public parks across the city, ensuring activities are well planned, inclusive and delivered safely. Gathering feedback from volunteers and using it to inform continuous improvement will be an important part of this work.

Alongside programme delivery, you will oversee marketing, communications and events linked to both programmes. This includes promoting opportunities to attract volunteers from across Birmingham, supporting partners with local promotion, and coordinating online and in-person inductions, engagement sessions and celebration events. You will also support financial monitoring and reporting, helping to track budgets, manage invoices and contribute to reporting against key performance indicators.

This role is well suited to someone who is organised, approachable and confident working with volunteers and partners, with experience of managing programmes and a strong interest in community and voluntary sector work.

About The Role

Do you have experience of working in a high-value fundraising team with a track record of meeting and exceeding financial and KPI targets? Would you like to partner with senior stakeholders to help deliver meaningful impact on the lives of people affected by dementia?

 We are recruiting for a Fundraising Development Manager to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week. This is a fixed-term, maternity cover contract for 12 months with an ideal start date in April 2026. This is a home-based role, though you will be required to occasionally travel into London (once a month maximum).

As Fundraising Development Manager, your role will be vital to the success of Alzheimer’s Society’s fundraising and engagement activities which are led and supported by our Development boards. You will play an important part in the delivery of our Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) campaign, a movement in partnership with senior level supporters from the insurance industry. This award-winning campaign has raise £12million to date and set a target to reach £20million by 2030 to fund projects that will accelerate progress towards beating dementia - while helping raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Society and increase understanding of the UK’s biggest killer.

You will be responsible for securing and maximising income from multiple channels, including our annual flagship industry fundraising event – Insurance Day for Dementia. You will support individual and team high value fundraising challenges, and lead communications activity with these influential supporters and their sector, utilising relationships with industry media and tools including LinkedIn.

To achieve success, you will manage relationships with insurance industry professionals at the highest levels. You will also support (where required) on activities through Sport United Against Dementia (SUAD), our comparable campaign led by some of the most senior figures in the world of sport. This may include developing tools for industry supporters and activities or supporting activation opportunities at exciting sporting events. Ultimately, this role will give you the chance to use your skills to deliver meaningful impact on the lives of people affected by dementia.

About you

Joining us, you will have experience of working in a high-value fundraising team or equivalent environment, with a track record of meeting and exceeding financial and KPI targets. You’ll have experience of successfully overseeing projects or managing events from start to finish.
Crucially, you’ll have proven experience of managing and forming trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. You’ll be able to use your communication skills and your experience of writing external communications to gain support through written proposals and in face-to-face meetings.

- Project managing our involvement in industry awards and conferences, or other third-party fundraising events.
- Providing first class stewardship and recognition to all supporters.
- Working closely with Development Boards Lead and Senior Philanthropy Manager, developing and delivering compelling campaign messages and case for support for IUAD and other Development Boards as required.

This is an exciting and engaging role, managing a small, well-established Philanthropy Team, where you will have the opportunity to work directly with our top supporters, develop interesting cultivation events and help us reach new supporters across Dorset and Wiltshire.

The Philanthropy Team incorporates major donor, mid-value, trust and legacy fundraising. It works closely with public fundraising and events teams. The CEO, Deputy CEO and specific trustees are also actively engaged in managing key relationships.

The role

The role is full time (35 hours per week) with hybrid working between home and the office in Wimborne in Dorset. There will be a requirement to travel across both Dorset and Wiltshire for internal meetings, donor meetings and events, with occasional out of hours working.

What does this role do?

• develop a prospect pipeline to raise a personal income target which contributes to an overall team target,

We provide practical support and advocacy to women facing a wide range of disadvantages, and we have a specialism in working with women whose lives have been affected by prostitution and/or sexual exploitation. Women at the Well has supported thousands of women over more than twenty years work in London. We see the complex ways in which women’s inequality, racism, disability and poor health, educational disadvantage, trauma in childhood, migration and the hostile immigration environment can all lead to significant social and economic disadvantages and harm. JOB PURPOSE:

The Head of Fundraising & Partnerships will lead the development and delivery of Women at The Well’s fundraising strategy, ensuring we build the sustainable and diverse income base needed to continue supporting women facing extraordinary disadvantage, exploitation and harm. As a senior, hands-on fundraiser, the postholder will take responsibility for income generation across trusts and foundations, individual philanthropy, corporate partnerships and community fundraising, while building the systems, relationships and communications that underpin long-term growth.

Working closely with the CEO—an experienced trusts fundraiser—the postholder will identify opportunities, cultivate relationships, steward supporters, craft compelling cases for support, and drive forward multi-stream fundraising with clarity and purpose. The Head of Trusts and Foundations is a leadership role within our Key Relationships team.  You will provide strategic direction and drive significant growth in income from charitable trusts and foundations.  This is a chance to lead a critical area of our fundraising mix, and create a step-change in activities and outcomes to increase the number and longevity of donors giving at the six and seven-figure grant level.  You will have the support of a small team as well as a well-developed operations unit, to drive our programme forward.

Forest Peoples Programme (FPP) is an international NGO that has been working with Indigenous Peoples and forest peoples for 35 years since it was established in 1990. Role summary

Forest Peoples Programme (FPP) is recruiting a Fundraising Manager to enhance fundraising capacity and ensure long-term financial sustainability of the organisation. This new role has been designed to work closely with the Head of Programme Engagement, as well as programme and operational colleagues to increase income from philanthropic, bilateral and multilateral donors.

Location: Regular attendance at the Moreton-in-Marsh office preferred (e.g. once weekly), but remote or other hybrid arrangements may be possible for the right candidate

Hours: Negotiable for the right candidate. Part-time or full-time hours considered (no less than 3 days per week)

Responsibilities

• Proactively horizon scan for philanthropic, bilateral and multilateral funding opportunities that align with FPP’s mission and Strategic Framework Plan 2025-30.
• Take the lead in researching and assessing new multilateral funding opportunities and, if suitable, develop and implement strategies of engagement.
• Lead on researching, tracking and assessing bilateral funding opportunities and engagement.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of FPP’s country level and thematic work and related partner needs and aspirations.
• Working with colleagues in programme teams, lead the drafting of compelling, high-quality concept notes and multi-year funding proposals, including log-frames and budgets, aligned with funder priorities and organisational strategy goals.
• Lead on the project management of complex funding submissions – coordinating inputs from across programme, finance and administrative teams and ensuring comprehensive and timely submissions.
• Take an active role within the PCMT Fundraising subgroup in strategising, planning and delivering effective methods of engaging and strengthening relationships with prospective and current donors.
• Collaborate with Communications team colleagues to produce fundraising materials, and with the Monitoring Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team to support the ongoing organisational MEAL process and the development of associated communications demonstrating impact and scale.

Person specification

Essential qualities

• Dedicated fundraising professional with a proven track record of successfully securing significant funding from government, multilateral donors and/or trusts and foundations. Exceptional writing skills with excellent ability to translate complex contexts and programme needs into compelling proposals.
• Alignment with the vision, mission and core principles of FPP’s work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build authentic, influential relationships both externally with funders, and internally with colleagues.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to multiple deadlines.

Desirable qualities

• Existing contacts within relevant government agencies, multilateral donors and/or philanthropic organisations.
• French, Spanish or Bahasa language skills.
• Experience of fundraising for work in the same, or related, field to that of FPP.
• Experience of working with Indigenous Peoples and global south organisations and/or networks.
• Ability to come to the office in Moreton-in-Marsh both regularly and on an ad hoc basis as required.
• Ability to travel internationally (approximately 2 weeks per year, and unlikely to exceed a total of 5 days per trip).

The Avenues Youth Project (AYP) is an exceptional West London youth club that guides disadvantaged children and young people to explore and develop new skills, connect with their peers and our trusted staff, and find their confidence. We offer fun and meaningful after-school and holiday activities led by trained youth workers. Our facilities include training kitchen, music recording studio, podcasting studio, arts and craft room, sports hall and classrooms.  

We currently have an active membership of over 1,100 children and young people, and are open 6 days a week, 48 weeks a year. All activities are free-to-access, and we raise the £1.2m we need each year through donations, grants and fundraising.

We are a team of 30 employees of which 18 are variable‑hours youth workers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the HR Manager is a standalone role and will lead on the operational delivery of HR initiatives and will manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle across our youth centre, ensuring the organisation remains an inclusive and supportive employer. 

The HR Manager will also manage HR systems compliance, while supporting strategic projects that embed best practice and innovation across the organisation.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

• Lead recruitment -including drafting job descriptions, conducting interviews, and managing the selection process- onboarding, and offboarding processes.

The Senior Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser is an integral member of an experienced and highly successful trusts and foundations team. • Manage a portfolio of trust funders who are giving 5 and 6-figure gifts and maintaining excellent relationships.

• Providing a high standard of stewardship and reporting to trust funders against grant requirements.
