Following an internal promotion within the team, we’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of high profile national corporate partners, including our award-winning football fundraising campaign with Premier League clubs, and develop further the relationships, plans and opportunities that can grow their support for the Royal British Legion year after year. This is an account management role with real scope to shape what a partnership can become: from developing new fundraising and engagement opportunities and negotiating agreements, to creating strong proposals and presentations for senior stakeholders. About School of Hard Knocks
School of Hard Knocks (SOHK) is one of the UK’s leading education charities, working in 29 secondary schools across England, Scotland, and Wales. Using rugby as a key delivery tool, we support young people who are struggling to engage in early secondary education - often because of anxiety, low confidence, disrupted home lives, or behavioural challenges rooted in trauma. For many of the children we support, life has already brought more hardship than most adults experience in a lifetime. Our purpose is clear: to help young people facing complex challenges break the cycle and move towards a safer, stronger, more hopeful future.
The SOHK Schools Programme is a two-year intervention working with cohorts of around 20 pupils from Year 7 through to Year 9. Pupils are selected by the school and are typically among the hardest to reach young people. Each week, we deliver half a day of rugby training and classroom sessions built around our 3Cs framework, covering topics such as growth mindset, goal setting, and decision-making, alongside monthly one-to-one sessions with every pupil. The programme’s impact is evaluated by SOHK staff, teachers, parents, and the pupils themselves.
90% of our participants report feeling more confident and more engaged with school after taking part, with long-term effects on attendance, attainment, and life outcomes. Find out more about our Schools Programme.
Since 2023, SOHK has been proud to partner with Impetus, a charity that invests in and supports organisations helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds succeed. This partnership combines investment with strategic and organisational development support, helping to strengthen our impact and set SOHK up for sustainable growth.
We are proud to be delivering long-term programmes that meaningfully reach hundreds of young people each year - but the societal need is vast. Our ambitious four-year strategic plan targets growth, aiming to bring our impactful programme to hundreds more young people each year.
“Despite the usual challenges that every education or sport for development charity faces, School of Hard Knocks really is unique. It is not so much what we deliver at a programme level (which is of course brilliant) but who we are as a team. If you are a values-led leader and love the idea of ‘team’, then School of Hard Knocks is the place for you.”
- Ken Cowen, Founder and outgoing CEO
The Role
The CEO is the public face and leader of SOHK, responsible for the overall strategic direction, vision, and management of the charity - ensuring SOHK meets its mission and strategic objectives while maintaining strong relationships with Trustees, staff, supporters, and the wider SOHK community. Actively Interviewing
This organisation is scheduling interviews as applications come in. They're ready to hire as soon as they find the right person. Don't miss your opportunity, apply now!
About Us
Forever Young People CIC delivers relationship-led community programmes across Hertfordshire, currently anchored by our community youth projects and our Dot to Dot mum and baby group. We're part of the wider Forever Young People family, which has spent years building trust-based, relationship-first work with young people and families across the county.
We're at a turning point: our CIC has a real track record and real potential, but no one whose full-time job it is to lead it. That's where you come in.
The Role
We're looking for someone to take genuine ownership of the CIC — its strategy, its funding, and its future programmes — reporting directly to our CEO. You'll line-manage our Trusts & Foundations fundraising consultant, decide which funding opportunities to pursue, and build the relationships and programmes that take the CIC beyond what we've already started.
This isn't a role where you'll be handed a finished playbook. It's a role for someone who wants to build one.
You'll:
- Set the CIC's strategic direction, in partnership with our CEO
- Own our funding pipeline and manage our fundraising consultant
- Spot and develop new community programmes rooted in genuine local need
- Support our existing Programmes as they continue to grow
- Build the relationships — funders, partners, commissioners — that the CIC's future depends on
About You
You don't need to have done exactly this job before — but you do need to have done something like it. You're someone who can set a strategy and still get your hands dirty. You've probably managed a freelancer or consultant before. You've built relationships with funders or partners when resources were tight, not abundant. And most importantly, you actually want to build something — not just keep an existing programme ticking over.
Experience with trusts and foundations fundraising, youth or family support work, or a background moving from a founder-led organisation toward distributed leadership would all be a bonus, though none are essential.
The Details
- Hours: 3 days/week to start, with planned growth in days as the CIC's income and pipeline grow
- Salary: £26,000–£30,000 FTE, pro-rata for 3 days/week, depending on experience
- Reports to: CEO, Ashley Howard
- Manages: Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Consultant; future CIC staff as the team grows
- Contract: Senior staff role — not a statutory company director
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

– Ensure fundraising systems and procedures are effective and GDPR compliant.
– Prepare fundraising reports and keep up to date with fundraising and charity sector developments.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone with:
– An interest in fundraising or supporter engagement, gained through paid work, volunteering or other relevant experience.

– Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of people, including public speaking.
– Good IT skills; CRM experience is desirable.

– A positive, inspiring and collaborative approach.
– A passion and commitment to arts with social inclusion at its core.
– The ability to manage a varied workload in a busy, fast-changing environment.
– A willingness to meet the requirements of Outside Edge’s Vulnerable Adults Protection Policy.
– A willingness to support marketing and promotional activity.
We particularly welcome applications from people with relevant transferable skills, even if you do not meet every criterion.

We are keen to hear from a diverse range of candidates from all backgrounds drawing on different perspectives, experience and knowledge. We particularly want to encourage people to apply for this role who have lived experience of being affected by addiction and those who are representative of the diverse communities we serve.
Please feel free to contact us if you require further assistance or would like to submit your application in an alternative format. We will support any access requirements you may have during the recruitment process and ensure that reasonable adjustments are in place as required by the Equalities Act 2010.
Your application and any associated personal information will be stored and processed in accordance with our Data Policy and destroyed after six months. We will keep your equal opportunities form for a period of up to 6 months, after which point the data will be anonymised and aggregated for monitoring purposes. If you are engaged by us, the information you supply will be kept securely and form part of your record with us.
Outside Edge is the UK’s only theatre company and participatory arts charity working with those affected by and at risk of any form of addiction.

We offer young women free coaching, feedback on job applications and information to help them get where they want to be. We bring together a thousands-strong network to support each other, build their self-belief, and have their voices heard. We work with young women and anyone who experiences misogyny and sexism to campaign for equality in the workplace. And our research provides insight into what young women’s lives are really like, fuelling our campaigns for change.
These are not easy times to be a young woman. The rights and freedoms previous generations fought for can feel up for grabs – sexism is growing louder, online abuse is on the rise, and too many young women are still held back by low pay, insecure work and unequal caring responsibilities. At Young Women's Trust, we believe it doesn't have to be this way, and we're growing our fundraising ambition to match the scale of the challenge.
You will lead a newly united fundraising programme that has brought together corporate partnerships, major donors, and trusts & foundations - an area that already contributes over 80% of our fundraised income. You'll strengthen existing relationships and secure new partnerships to support our mission: creating a more equal world of work and increasing young women's incomes.

We are investing in professional fundraising for the first time and are looking for an experienced Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to help us build the sustainable income needed to protect and strengthen this pioneering service.
The opportunity
This is an unusually autonomous role in which you will work directly with BCHT's Trustees and colleagues in Palestine. You will take responsibility for developing income from charitable trusts, foundations and grant-making organisations: identifying prospects, developing compelling propositions, preparing high-quality applications and building long-term funder relationships.
We currently raise approximately £60,000-£80,000 each year against a core service requirement of around £150,000. Your initial focus will therefore be sustainability of the existing service, with opportunities subsequently to support its development and growth. Our Year 1 income target for this role is £70,000.
This role could be for you if you have proven experience of successful trusts and foundations fundraising; can demonstrate success in preparing grant applications; write persuasively; can research and develop a strong prospect pipeline; are highly organised; can work independently; and would value the opportunity to use your professional expertise to make a direct and measurable difference.
Experience of healthcare, hospice or palliative care, international development, small charities or faith-based organisations would be useful but is not essential.
BCHT is inspired by Christian values of compassion, dignity and service. Applicants should be sympathetic to the values and mission of the charity. The palliative care service we support is provided to people regardless of faith, ethnicity, background or ability to pay.
What we offer: flexible home-based working; 25 days' annual leave plus UK public/bank holidays, pro rata; and a workplace pension scheme with a 5% employer contribution, subject to scheme rules. You will have considerable scope to shape BCHT's approach to trusts and foundations fundraising and direct access to Trustees and decision-makers.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused person who enjoys getting things right, communicating with others and making a positive difference to the supporter experience.
This is an Officer-level role, ideal for someone with experience in administration, supporter care, fundraising, marketing or a similar role who is looking to develop their skills and build a career in charity fundraising and marketing. You don’t need to be an expert in legacy or In Memory fundraising - what matters most is that you’re curious, willing to learn and confident working with both people and processes.
As part of our Legacy and In Memory team, you’ll play an important role in delivering excellent supporter care. You’ll have a varied mix of responsibilities, from processing donations and correspondence and responding to enquiries from existing and future supporters, to supporting marketing campaigns, identifying and supporting the production of marketing materials and helping us build strong, lasting relationships with our supporters.
You’ll be someone who takes pride in providing a high standard of stewardship, is comfortable managing administrative tasks and can communicate with warmth, sensitivity and empathy - particularly when supporting people who are remembering someone they have lost.
Our team is ambitious and curious, and we’re always looking for new ways to grow income and supporter engagement through legacies and In Memory giving. You’ll be encouraged to bring your ideas, learn from others and contribute to a positive team culture where we support and challenge each other to do our best work.
If you’re looking for a role where you can combine organisation, communication, creativity and purpose, while developing your fundraising and marketing experience and helping the Macular Society make a lasting difference, we’d love to hear from you.
What we provide in return
In return we provide a great working culture and offer flexible working options, 27 days annual leave, the ability to buy or sell annual leave, supportive family policies, and 6% pension contribution.

• The candidate has evidenced the minimum criteria for the role through their application
• The candidate has chosen to share that they have a disability in the covering letter/application email
• Where the minimum (essential) criteria have been met, we will provide an opportunity to request any reasonable adjustments for the interview and/or the role.
We want to be an inclusive and diverse employer reflecting the community we serve and welcome applications from all parts of the community, in particular people with lived experience of sight loss.
We offer a flexible approach to working in this role, including the potential opportunity to work compressed hours over fewer days, or spreading out the hours out across the working week.
It is important that you can work from our Andover office for all, or some, of your hours, in order to process and fulfil postal correspondence and donations.
