We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative legal manager for our international Environment and Sustainable Development Programme. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with deep enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of how our partners could use the law to achieve environmental justice. A more detailed explanation of our organisational and programme strategy is set out in our 2024-2026 Strategy.

Working as part of a small but dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn at close hand what it means to work for an international NGO focusing on how the law can be used to fight corruption and achieve environmental and economic justice. You will develop projects with a range of partners, including international agencies, NGOs, CSOs and governments. You will collaborate with a range of volunteer lawyers (via law firms and barristers chambers) who are leading experts in their field. You will also help nurture, build and maintain relationships with our funders. The role will involve outreach to new partners, programme management, supporting the drafting of fundraising applications and donor reports, tracking impact, as well as evaluating and learning from projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement the strategic vision for ILP’s Environment and Sustainable Development (ESD) programme, in conjunction with the ESD Programme Director, Legal Fellows, Executive Director, partners, staff and Board;

2. Develop an understanding of the most effective environmental policy tools and legal interventions to deliver the programme’s objectives, through engagement with volunteer lawyers, ILP partners, ILP’s ESD Advisory Committee, staff, Board and others;

3. Support the ESD Programme Director to build and maintain ILP’s Environment and Sustainable Development (ESD) programme. This includes:

   • liaising with partners to identify legal/policy needs and offer potential legal and/or policy reform solutions, including through conducting legal analysis;

     identifying and engaging in regular outreach with potential new partners to build the project pipeline;

   • identifying, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new highly experienced volunteer lawyers;

   • mapping and developing relationships with regional and international development entities and other technical assistance providers to identify potential partners, needs and focus countries;

   • representing the programme in external fora and events.

4. Support the Programme Director in ensuring effective project delivery and evaluation of impact including:

   • managing and coordinating project implementation through the full project cycle;

   • delivering financial management for assignments including accurate budgeting, forecasting, accounting and reporting;

   • Supporting the development and maintenance of strong programme management and knowledge management systems and processes, including regular updating of ILP’s online internal database (GRID).

5. Support the Programme Director’s fundraising efforts to finance both the programme and organisational overheads, including working closely with the Programme Director to identify opportunities for potential funding with partners, liaise with and nurture donors, design funding applications and create relevant budgets;

6. Deepen ILP’s knowledge and understanding of the situation in developing economies, including engaging in relevant research alongside ILP partners (pro bono lawyers, NGOs, CSOs and others) and sharing findings via written reports and output;

7. Share in the necessary operational and administrative activities of the organisation and contribute to website and social media communications.

About the Role

The Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager will lead all fundraising activity, including stakeholder partnerships and grant/trust income, overseeing a six figure annual income portfolio. They will work with the Head of Smart Works Greater Manchester, the Events & Comms Lead, and the Board of Trustees to deliver the fundraising strategy, activity plan, manage the budget, and support the organisation’s long term sustainability.

The Relationship Fundraising team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, regional businesses and groups fundraising in the community, effectively managing relationships to maximise income.

The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover the country of Northern Ireland.

You will report to the Relationship Fundraising Manager and support the Head of Relationship Fundraising & Volunteering to drive the continued growth of the charity’s fundraising income in your area. You will also be required to show excellent relationship-building skills to support community partnerships and volunteer groups, driving towards agreed targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy, finance, and reporting

· Responsibility for stewardship and relationship building with supporters within the region.

· Identify and apply for ‘Charity of the Year’ partnerships with corporates in the region, account manage these relationships up to a value of £50,000 per annum and support the Partnership Development Team with national partnerships in your region.

· Support existing volunteer fundraisers to encourage continued loyalty to the charity and to maximise funds raised, in accordance with fundraising legislation and good practice.

· Recruit new fundraising supporters in line with strategy.

· Support the Relationship Fundraising Manager (RFM) and Head of Relationship Fundraising (HORF) in developing the Relationship Fundraising strategy for ARUK to increase income within this stream.

· Provide excellent customer service to fundraising supporters, with prompt responses to enquiries, to acknowledge support and increase long-term loyalty.

· Provide high-quality account management to volunteer groups in geographical area.

· Effective management of volunteer relationships within geographical area.

· Support, motivate and develop local fundraising volunteers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of ARUK to enable them to represent the charity’s work effectively.

· In liaison with the Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Officers, provide high quality account management to corporate supporters within specified geographical area and/or of relevant value.

· Keep up to date with fundraising legislation and codes of practice to be able to provide relevant advice to fundraisers.

· Ensure volunteers and fundraisers have all necessary materials for fundraising initiatives.

Increasing Community Support within geographical area

· Use own initiative to extend volunteer networks, develop new groups and supporters, and respond to fundraising opportunities within geographical area, in line with strategy.

· Manage recruitment process of new ARUK volunteers in geographical area, providing relevant support and training.

· Liaise with local community organisations (predominantly golf clubs) – both previous and new potential supporters – to extend income and activity in line with strategy.

· Provide face-to-face talks and presentations to community organisations for recruitment/ cultivation purposes.

· Arrange appropriate volunteer representation at events in the community, spreading the charity’s reach cost-effectively.

· Identify, research and target prospective community organisations, in liaison with RFM.

· Identify, research and target prospective local corporates in liaison with RFM / HORF and ARUK’s Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Development Officers, in line with strategy.

· Accurately track and record contact with both community and corporate prospects for planning and reporting purposes.

Monitoring and Reporting

· Ensure that your activity is monitored and evaluated, clearly communicating progress to your Relationship Fundraising Manager.

· Manage relevant information on the charity’s database, keeping detailed, up-to-date records of activity and income.

What we are looking for:

· Experience in partnership fundraising and/or relationship building

· Experience and confidence in public-speaking, such as giving presentations and talking at events

· Knowledge of recruiting key volunteers and fundraising supporters

· Experience and a keen interest in building long term relationships with supporters

The Volunteer & Kitchen Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and supporting volunteers at Catching Lives. This is a pivotal role in the charity which includes recruitment and induction of volunteers; managing the rota to cover shifts; managing food ordering in response to demand and budget; ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and meets high standard of hygiene; and communicating daily with volunteer teams.

With 100+ volunteers across the Centre and Bookshop, being Volunteer & Kitchen Coordinator calls for excellent organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to offer a friendly and non-judgemental service to people experiencing homelessness and other issues.

This is a part-time post at 25 hours per week. The working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate and is normally between 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and evening working.

Role Overview

As the Youth Service Manager, you will lead KCBNA’s youth provision for young people within the KCBNA youth centre, King’s Cross and surrounding areas. You will oversee the delivery of funded programmes, develop new initiatives, and ensure high-quality workshops, training, and mentoring. General Overview

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and supporting all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders, and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

As the Devon Service Manager, you will oversee all the adult ITRS team and be instrumental in developing and sustaining networks, partnerships and new networks across Devon.  You will be responsible to the Head of Service and be part of the service manager team working closely alongside the other service managers.

Alongside your service manager colleagues, you will play a key leadership role in the delivery, development, and oversight of high-quality services for individuals impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, as well as for those who use harmful behaviours. You will be part of a team managing a diverse portfolio of services spanning prevention, crisis intervention, behaviour change, survivor recovery, and professional training. These include in-person interventions and digital platforms, therapeutic services and outreach across all age groups and communities.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our services are trauma-responsive, culturally competent and inclusive, with a strong focus on safeguarding, survivor voice and best practice. You will support teams to deliver consistently excellent support, ensure contract compliance and drive continuous improvement and innovation in a changing landscape.

As part of the Service Manager team, you will also hold strategic responsibility in scoping new projects, supporting research and business development opportunities. You will also ensure that the wellbeing and development of our people is at the front of our management and leadership priorities.

As the Devon Service Manager, you will have experience working with health professionals in a management or training capacity, and a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed practice and managing risk. This service takes an innovative approach to both delivering training to GP surgeries and providing therapeutic support to patients referred to us via surgeries who have received our training.

• Partnerships and Representation: Maintain strong local and strategic partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies. Represent the charity in multi-agency forums, commissioning meetings, and stakeholder events.
• Crisis and Incident Management: Support staff with complex or high-risk cases. Lead operational responses to critical incidents or safeguarding escalations in collaboration with senior leaders. Provide Duty Out of Hours cover as part of a Senior Management Rota for safeguarding and incident management.
• Volunteer and Student Engagement: Oversee the safe and meaningful integration of volunteers and student placements into service delivery, ensuring appropriate supervision and development opportunities.
• System and Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in operational systems and work with others to develop streamlined, integrated processes across services and reporting tools.

Fundraising & Volunteer Database Manager

Ongoing Temporary Role | £24.72 per hour | Hybrid (Hampton-based) | Immediate Start

We're working with a well-respected children's charity to recruit an experienced Fundraising & Volunteer Database Manager to join their fundraising team on an ongoing temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a data-driven fundraising professional who enjoys improving systems, strengthening supporter journeys and working closely across fundraising, finance and volunteering teams to ensure data is accurate, compliant and genuinely useful.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Supporter Engagement, you'll take the lead on the charity's fundraising CRM (Raiser's Edge NXT), overseeing data integrity, integrations, reporting and process improvements. You'll play a key role in ensuring supporters and volunteers receive the right communications at the right time, while also supporting finance processes including Gift Aid and month-end reconciliation.

You'll work collaboratively across Fundraising, Finance, Volunteer Management and Data Insight, acting as the go-to person for database expertise and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day management and optimisation of Raiser's Edge NXT

• Ensuring high standards of data quality, GDPR compliance and robust data controls

• Leading on system upgrades, integrations and developments (website, donation platforms and finance systems)

• Delivering regular and ad hoc reports, analysis and data selections to support fundraising and marketing activity

• Supporting Gift Aid processing and reconciliation with finance systems

• Leading data cleansing and housekeeping projects

• Improving processes to increase efficiency, automation and accuracy

• Training and supporting staff and volunteers in the effective use of the CRM

• Acting as a key liaison with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, including Blackbaud advisory services

About you:

• Significant hands-on experience with Raiser's Edge / Raiser's Edge NXT (minimum 2-3 years)

• Strong understanding of fundraising data management, reporting and integrations

• Confident working with complex datasets and translating data into meaningful insight

• Advanced Excel skills (SQL experience an advantage but not essential)

• Organised, proactive and comfortable juggling priorities in a busy environment

• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues

• A collaborative team player with a solutions-focused mindset

Practical details:

• Rate: £24.72 per hour

The Young Roots Casework Service aims to improve the life chances of young refugees and asylum seekers and to support them to reach their potential by accessing their rights and entitlements. 

This is an opportunity for an experienced manager to head up the organisation's Casework team. It will be a chance to provide advice and guidance, safeguarding oversight, line management and supervise other Caseworkers across the organisation. 

The role will support the oversight and delivery of our weekly Advice and Support Hub in both Brent and Croydon (Wednesday 5pm-8m and Thursday 4.30pm-8pm).The role will suit a dynamic, supportive, and enthusiastic manager with a deep understanding of the challenges young refugees and asylum seekers face in London.   

Hybrid working with minimum 40% in-person attendance at one of our London offices (2 days per week for full-time staff, pro rata for part-time), with occasional travel to our other offices. To be agreed with line manager - 1 x Evening per week at an activity on either a Wednesday or Thursday (day to be confirmed, so availability for either scenario is required). Occasional on call evening safeguarding cover may be required.

Kineara is looking for someone who can grow our fundraising potential and engage key stakeholders across the sector, while delivering engaging communications and outreach campaigns that demonstrate our social value and grow our support base. They will play a key role in helping Kineara develop our newly formed charitable arm, alongside our community interest company, to generate income through engaging fundraising campaigns, impact-driven communications and strategic relationship-building with existing and potential funders.

You will work closely with project managers and SLT (Senior Leadership Team) to identify how support services can reduce barriers to secure housing, work and school; prevent evictions and homelessness; and improve health and wellbeing of people facing challenges. You’ll use this understanding to motivate new stakeholders to invest in our work - whether charitable trusts, corporate foundations or individuals.  

You will feel real ownership over your work and need to be self-starting, flexible and hungry to grow with an already impactful charity with a strong social mission and vision. You will be keen to understand how our work makes a difference to people and use our impact to demonstrate our social value.This role crosscuts a range of key charitable specialisms, so you may have experience working in communications and be keen to widen your skillset; you may have a background in impact evaluation; or you may have worked in fundraising or development for a non-profit. We are keen to invite candidates with a range of experience from a variety of non-profit roles and are especially interested to meet candidates who have been part of – or are ready to be part of - the strategic growth of a charitable organisation.

Job Description 

Communications 

• Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues 

• Develop brand identity for Kineara’s new charitable arm, ensuring it is consistent across all activities in the organisation, while maintaining Kineara’s overall ‘look and feel’ to ensure coherence in branding, colours, messaging, style and approach. 

• Manage the creation, development, distribution of compelling, impact-driven story-telling about Kineara’s work and beneficiaries using interviews, blogs, case studies, etc. 

• Use a range of platforms to distribute print and electronic content including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, leaflets, posters reports, e-newsletters, and Kineara’s website 

• Work closely with IT and business managers to ensure smooth running of internal communications 

Fundraising 

• Develop positive relationships with a range of stakeholders providing funding to charities, including in the third sector, public sector, and the business sector, to raise awareness and promote our work 

• Write grant and tender applications, and manage and coordinate work of external consultants supporting grant writing process where applicable 

• Manage and administer online fundraising platforms, and develop accessible, persuasive campaigns for public donations. 

• Work with Finance Lead on finance strategy, costings, budgets, resource allocation 

Impact 

• Work closely with Operations Manager and practitioners to embed outcomes, create frameworks for monitoring and evaluate Kineara’s projects; and produce yearly evaluations and Impact Report of Kineara’s services 

• Use learning from impact analysis to share with team and deliver impact-driven communications and to share our social value to funders and other stakeholders. 

Business 

• Contribute to development of business plans and strategic decision-making, working with the CEO, Finance Lead and Operations Lead (SLT)

We have a fantastic opportunity for Shop Supervisors to make a difference and deliver positive social impact in the local community while also raising money to fund Crisis’ work ending homelessness.

You will play a key role in delivering customer service and supporting volunteers, as well maintaining the look and feel of the shop and processing stock. You will work towards ambitious sales and training targets, maximising the impact on our mission to end homelessness.

This is a unique retail opportunity where you will also be involved in delivering on the job training for Crisis members, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with your team and will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have significant retail or customer service experience alongside a genuine interest in charity retail. You will be seeking a challenge that stands out from other retail roles and will be looking to build a career in this sector. You will be committed to Crisis’s values and mission to end homelessness.
