We are looking for an experienced and ambitious fundraising manager and team leader, with a strong track record across all aspects of community fundraising. You excel in designing and delivering donor journeys that generate six‑figure income and strengthen our campaign voice through collaborative work with a wide range of stakeholders.

Reporting to the Chief operating officer, this role will take responsibility for leading the charity’s Fundraising function, which sits as part of our Income generation team. This role will include delivering toward your own individual targets as well as line management of two team members (Community relationship fundraiser and Events and fundraising officer) to cover all income linked to fundraising (such as community fundraising, company fundraising, Brake led fundraising events, and fundraising attached to Brake campaigns and projects such as Road Safety Week) and may include working with the Corporate partnerships team lead to support other income generating activity.

Salary: £24,800 per annum (£31,000 FTE)

Base: This role is primarily remote, with regular travel required to support programme delivery. The successful candidate will typically travel one day per week to Manchester and one day per week to the North East of England to support the delivery of workshops, events and engagement activity. Overview

The Regional Project Co-Ordinator will support the planning, coordination and delivery of programmes and initiatives designed to support individuals who have spent part of their childhood in the care system.

Working closely with colleagues, delivery partners and stakeholders, the Project Co-Ordinator will help ensure programme activity runs smoothly and reaches those who may benefit most. The role combines organisational project coordination with hands on delivery, including supporting workshops, events and engagement activity with partners and care experienced people.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Oversee the day to day coordination of programmes and initiatives.

• Develop and maintain project plans, monitor progress and adjust activity where required.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with delivery partners, commissioners, professionals and local stakeholders involved in programme delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly and effectively.
• Organise and facilitate meetings, ensuring communication is clear and action points are followed up.
• Prepare and send out project-related communications, updates, and reports to stakeholders.

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Adhere to agreed project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and other relevant documents.
• Monitor and report on project budgets, identifying any potential overruns or issues.
• Collect and analyse data/feedback on programme outcomes and evaluate the success of projects upon completion, ensuring outcomes align with the charity’s mission and strategic goals.
• Prepare and present reports on the effectiveness and impact of the programmes/initiatives to commissioners/stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation of funding applications, reports, and other documentation for funders.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance project delivery in the future.

4. Budget Monitoring and Reporting

• Liaise with the finance team who will prepare regular financial reports for commissioners.
• Identify and address any financial risks or discrepancies and raise them with the finance team.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.

6. Additional Duties

• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other events as required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the various programmes and initiatives.
• Work in line with the charity’s ‘Vision and Values’.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential:

• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to Manchester and the North East to support programme delivery.

• Proven experience in project management within healthcare, social work or not-for-profit sectors.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Based at our National Breeding Centre near Leamington Spa, you’ll work 35 hours per week between 8am and 6pm, Monday–Friday. You’ll also participate in a 1 in 4 weekend rota, ensuring continuous, outstanding care for our dogs.

About the role:

This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff. You will need to commit to a 2 week induction program, which will run Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

As a Helpline Adviser you will:

• Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing emotional support, information and referrals on to Victim Support services and other agencies

OCD Action exists because it takes 7 years on average for people affected by OCD to get the treatment that they need. OCD is debilitating, isolating and destroys lives, but it is treatable. Sadly the wait for treatment, for too many is too long. We are working, with the OCD Community, for a time, when OCD is well understood and everyone gets the treatment and support they need when they need it. As Senior Trust and Foundations Officer you will support the delivery of our vision by growing our portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, crafting exceptionally high quality and persuasive applications for three, four and five figure bids and managing all successful and existing grants.  

We are a small but highly effective team at OCD Action, if you join us you will work closely with our service delivery team and have the opportunity to see the impact of your work. We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving outcomes for people affected by OCD and can channel this into ambitious, creative and persuasive grant applications. This role requires someone who enjoys working with people and is adept at building networks and maintaining effective relationships. This role may be particularly suited to someone who has supported with the development of Trust applications in a larger organisation and is looking to develop their skills or to work with increased flexibility.

Job Summary for Senior Data Manager

• A senior data leadership role sitting at the heart of the Data & IT function, reporting to the CFO and working in close partnership with the Senior IT Manager — with this role taking lead responsibility for all things data
• Own and lead the charity's data strategy, working collaboratively with senior leadership to shape a forward-looking, insight-driven organisation

Operation Smile UK is now seeking a Philanthropy Manager to help grow major donor fundraising, building new philanthropic relationships and expanding support from HNWIs.

As Philanthropy Manager, you will:

• Develop and implement Operation Smile UK’s major donor strategy alongside the Director of Partnerships
• Identify and cultivate new major donor prospects through research, networking (internally and externally) and peer-to-peer introductions through supporters and board members
• Steward a small but warm portfolio of existing donors while focusing primarily on developing new prospects, delivering full lifecycle stewardship from cultivation through to long-term relationship management
• Develop compelling restricted funding propositions aligned with programmes, including geographically or thematically focused projects
• Lead cultivation activity including donor meetings, proposals, events and programme visits
• Represent Operation Smile UK confidently with major donors, prospects and senior stakeholders
• Contribute to the continued development of philanthropy fundraising within the wider Partnerships team
• Occasionally travel internationally to visit programmes and accompany donors, providing first-hand insight into Operation Smile’s impact

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience in major donor fundraising with a track record of securing five-figure+ gifts from HNWIs
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of major donor fundraising, from prospecting and cultivation through to solicitation and stewardship
• Strong prospect research and pipeline development skills, including identifying and developing new donor relationships from cold
• Experience and confidence in building rapport and trust with prospective major donors
• Experience engaging trustees, senior volunteers and colleagues in fundraising and leveraging networks for peer-to-peer introductions
• Confidence and credibility when representing an organisation to HNWIs and senior stakeholders
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to champion major donor fundraising in a collaborative and thoughtful way across the organisation
• A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to identify and develop opportunities within a growing fundraising programme

Desirable:

• Experience in international development or global health fundraising
• Experience helping to develop a major donor programme from a low base or early stage
