Key Responsibilities
To work closely with the Evidence & Advocacy Manager (EAM) to develop and implement a series of impactful evidence and research projects that support our advocacy messaging, as well as internal and external learning for inclusive programmes and advisory work. These projects will build on established workstreams alongside developing new ones to maintain and extend CBM UK’s evidence base.
Disability Evidence, Policy Research and Learning
With EAM support the ongoing CBM UK Research and Evidence workstream, through:
- Translating evidence from our programming countries and projects to produce and contribute to a range of resources to influence FCDO and other stakeholders. Tasks to include managing and maintaining established outputs, such as the CBM UK Project Evidence Briefs and Disability Voices paper series, generating new thematic papers, as well as policy and position papers to enhance effective advocacy submissions, briefing notes, blogs and other messaging on key disability rights issues.
- Working collaboratively within CBM UK and across CBM Global to help develop and to deliver new policy research, drawing on mixed methods and data sources including national and international databases, using qualitative approaches including participatory or citizen generated data, and new empirical work.
- Supporting Programme staff to improve impact and learning practice in CBM UK funded projects, provide technical support for the implementation of programme related research and data collection, including MEAL.
- Providing technical research support into the development of proposals for new grant funded projects, and, where successful, support the management of subsequent research projects.
- Keeping abreast of new research and publications on key themes and priority concerns within the CBM UK Advocacy and Influencing Strategy, taking into consideration sector trends and developments, and ensure this is disseminated to relevant staff within the CBM UK Team.
- Keeping watch on UK policy environment and conducting research and analysis to support CBM UK advocacy messaging on disability and human rights.
Dissemination and Communications
- Maintaining and developing internal knowledge management systems for research and information on disability inclusion and rights, and related areas, to be used by Advocacy, Programmes and Fundraising & Communications teams.
- Ensuring communication plans are developed with CBM UK and Global Federation colleagues for CBM UK evidence outputs.
- Maintaining the Advocacy and Influencing pages of the CBM UK website ensuring rights-based communication and focus to support CBM UK and Global campaigns.
- Liaison with Fundraising & Communications colleagues to amplify media stories, case studies and compelling evidence from country programming for advocacy purposes.

Direct Marketing Manager, European New Donors

Reporting to the Director of New Donor Engagement, the Direct Marketing Manager leads IFAW’s international new donor acquisition and global reactivation efforts. This role oversees the strategy and execution of IFAW’s direct mail and face-to-face fundraising for four European markets: Germany, France, UK and The Netherlands. This role also designs and executes strategies to re-engage long lapsed supporters in all markets. Collaborate with the digital acquisition team to amplify results and leverage the strategies to attract new donors and reactivate lapsed donors. The manager collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and in alignment with organizational goals.
Role and Responsibilities
· Lead all facets of direct mail new donor acquisition and reactivation programs, including strategic planning, budget oversight, creative strategy, vendor management, and process optimization.
· Support and participate in direct response TV campaigns and leverage that strategy to amplify results in direct mail and face to face channels.
· Develop and implement country-specific acquisition and reactivation strategies to maintain or grow donor file size in alignment with departmental goals.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
· 5+ years of direct marketing experience, preferably within a nonprofit or fundraising context
· Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of self-motivation, effective time management, and team development
· Proven success managing cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute complex projects on schedule and within scope
· Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and donor engagement

· Global marketing exposure or international campaign experience is highly desirable

Beacon is seeking a creative, organised, and digitally savvy Digital Content Officer, whose role will focus on two main areas: delivering day-to-day communications and supporting digital projects.
At the heart of this role is driving engagement with Beacon’s events and projects, strengthening our community connections, and communicating our impact clearly and effectively. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced programme manager who will oversee The Advice Workforce Development Fund (AWDF). AWDF is a collaborative programme dedicated to strengthening and sustaining the social welfare advice sector in London. The Role(s)
We are looking for two Senior Facilitators and Coordinators to join our Sports Project. You will deliver impactful workshops using Sport for Change (S4C) approaches within professional football academies, community foundations, youth centres and schools.
You will contribute to the design and testing of new learning materials and piloting of new workshops.
You will also be responsible for coordinating session logistics, maintaining stakeholder communications and ensuring data collection (Salesforce).
Both roles will combine direct delivery and project coordination. However, each role will also have specialised responsibilities:

FLEX is looking for a passionate advocate with a good understanding of the UK political system, of labour abuse and/ or exploitation and human trafficking in the UK, demonstrable experience of coalition working and building relationships with key stakeholders working in the anti-trafficking, employment rights, and/or immigration sectors and Project Management. This recruitment comes at an exciting and challenging time for our work at the intersection of employment rights and immigration policy and you will lead on the implementation of our Secure Reporting pilot funded by the GLA. This role will inform and support our work to influence and improve law, policy and practice affecting workers in high-risk sectors in the UK.
In this role, you will work on FLEX’s advocacy, lead on a London level Secure Reporting pilot and contribute to the joint research advocacy and project work of FLEX networks and and coalitions. These currently include the Labour Exploitation Advisory Group (LEAG) and the Taskforce on Victims of Trafficking in Immigration Detention, two networks made of expert organisations directly supporting people who have experienced or are at risk of exploitation. Above all this role requires someone with real passion and commitment to FLEX’s work to end labour exploitation and an excitement for working in a small, dynamic team.
About FLEX: Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX) is a research and policy organisation working towards an end to labour exploitation. FLEX seeks to achieve this vision through the prevention of labour abuses, protection of the rights of those affected or at risk of exploitation and by promoting best practice responses to labour exploitation through research and evidence-based advocacy. FLEX is a small organisation that packs a big punch in terms of policy change and influencing.

About the role
We’re looking for a senior manager, brand marketing to join our team at an exciting time of growth for Breast Cancer Now. As part of our new 2025-2030 organizational strategy, we have ambitious plans to increase awareness, understanding, trust and engagement, to support the impact we can have for people affected by breast cancer. To achieve this, we’ve secured significant investment in our brand marketing program and this role will play a key role in making those ambitions a reality.
The senior manager marketing, brand marketing will lead the brand marketing team and oversee the planning, development, and delivery of our brand marketing program. This includes managing high-profile multi-channel advertising bursts and fame-driving activations, working closely with stakeholders across the charity, and with our creative and media agency partners. This role will develop compelling briefs, oversee campaign delivery, and ensure performance is measured and optimized.
The post-holder will also take responsibility for monitoring our brand health - working with research and media agencies to set KPIs, analyse results, and identify opportunities for improvement.
About you
This is an important role for Breast Cancer Now and one which requires a passion for and proven expertise in managing a brand marketing programme, including delivering multi-channel campaigns.
The role provides a fantastic opportunity to work with stakeholders across the charity, and with external agencies to support the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns. As such, you'll possess strong communication skills and be adept at building positive working relationships with people at all levels. You’ll also be committed to delivering exceptional creative work and have knowledge of brand measurement techniques, working with research agencies and using performance data to monitor and maximise impact.
You'll be confident line manager with solid project management skills, able to work at pace and manage multiple, competing priorities. You'll also have experience in setting and monitoring budgets.
