The Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to grow this vital area of income. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver our trusts and foundations strategy at a key point in our organisational development, helping to diversify income and support innovative, impactful programmes.

You will lead on identifying and securing new funding opportunities, building strong donor relationships, and writing compelling proposals and reports. You’ll also represent Cord externally and work collaboratively across teams to develop strong cases for support.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of securing funding from trusts, foundations, or philanthropic donors, alongside excellent writing and communication skills. You will be confident building relationships and proactively developing opportunities, with a strong understanding of the philanthropic landscape.

We’re looking for a talented Individual Giving Manager to join the Fundraising & Communications Cluster at Embrace.

The Fundraising & Communications Cluster comprises expertise in fundraising, marketing, communication, trading (web shop), supporter engagement and retention. Working collaboratively, we serve our supporters by providing authentic and engaging communications inspiring active social witness, engagement and giving to charity. 

The Fundraising & Communications Cluster strengthens Embrace’s communication, education, and fundraising efforts to drive growth, so that more people engage with our content, more donors are attracted to support, and the UK church is more deeply engaged with the cause - enabling us to fund more work in the region and generate a deeper understanding of Christian service in the Middle East.

As Individual Giving Manager, you’ll help us grow sustainable income by keeping individual supporters inspired, informed and engaged - so they give again, stay longer, and deepen their support.

You will deliver an excellent supporter journey experience, project managing engaging and compelling direct and digital individual giving activity (including – but not limited to – appeals, regular giving conversion & upgrade, lapsed reactivation) and incorporating legacies marketing, raising more than £1m voluntary income each year.

What success looks like:

• Higher Life-Time Value (LTV): more second gifts, upgrades and cross channel giving; stronger legacy pipeline.
• Lower churn: reduced lapse rates for cash and regular givers.
• Better donor experience: faster thank yous, clearer impact reporting, higher satisfaction with fewer complaints/optouts.
• Sustainable mix: growth in regular giving and mid-value segments; predictable, repeatable income.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporter Experience & Journeys

• Map and continually improve journeys: welcome → second gift; regular giving nurture/upgrade; mid-value; legacy prospecting; lapsed reactivation; complaint recovery.
• Set cadence and channel mix (email, mail, phone, SMS, social, events, digital) for consistent, donor‑first communications in appropriate channels and accessible formats.
• Donor first approach: clear, inclusive language; accessible formats; low‑friction giving/retention flows and personalisation e.g. name, last gift, interests, location, project etc.
• Collaborate with Content & Communications colleagues to deliver content that shares the impact of support i.e. what donors make possible and Embrace’s brand story.

Segmentation, Testing & Insight

• Track Regular Giving net growth; diagnose attrition drivers and fix root causes; maintain acceptable Return on Investment (ROIs).
• Lead supporter segmentation (by behaviour & interest) and A/B testing (offer, timing, upgrade prompts).
• Adopt an evidence-based, test and learn‑ approach; analyse appeals, campaign performance and share insights to drive decisions.
• Work with colleagues to build insight dashboard and understanding of retention.

Mid‑Value & Legacy Development

• Steward mid‑value donors with tailored journeys; warm handovers to and from Major Giving Manager.
• Develop and test legacy propositions and routes to market to grow enquiries and pledges.

Acquisition & Cross‑Sell

• Project manage individual giving product development and testing; identify new audiences and routes to market.
• Collaborate with Web Shop team and the Digital Marketing Campaigns Manager to optimise Alternative Gifts and cross-sell opportunities focusing on a digital first approach.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Supporter Experience Team to ensure that supporter journeys are being optimised and feedback from supporters is being captured and acted upon.
• Commission and work with the CRM and Systems Manager to develop clear and understandable dashboards, ensuring that the insights are used to develop plans and measure performance.
• Closely liaise with the Legacy administration team, working with them to ensure the packs and information are up to date and legacy marketing information complies with the latest Institute of Legacy Management standards.
• Develop an understanding of the Partner projects and Advocacy agenda, ensure all supporter briefings are aligned to agreed messaging.

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge:

• Educated to degree standard or equivalent (E.g. practical experience within fundraising).
• Member of Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
• Proven individual giving or CRM led retention experience in a charity, membership or subscription context. 
• Hands‑on journey design and automation.
• Strong data literacy: segmentation, dashboards (CRM/Excel), test and learn. 
• Excellent written communication—able to brief compelling, impacted content and clear supporter updates. 
• Practical project management; calm under pressure; collaborative and solutions focused. 
• Working knowledge of GDPR/PECR and best practice supporter care. 
• Experience stewarding mid-value supporters and legacy pipelines.

About the role

Reporting in to the Individual Giving Lead, the Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer will drive the strategy and execution of Christian Aid’s individual giving acquisition efforts, ensuring high impact campaigns like Christian Aid Week, Christmas and Emergency Appeals effectively attract new supporters. Through compelling messaging and innovative approaches, foster long-term, sustainable relationships,
optimising channels, products, and engagement strategies to maximise supporter growth.

The post-holder will lead on Regular Giving acquisition recruitment across multiple channels to grow lifetime giving and increasing the Christian Aid supporter base. They will be leading a team of two Individual Giving Acquisition Officers and collaborating with senior leadership, manage budgets, forecast the performance of campaigns and ensure cost-effective delivery, all while championing the ‘Believe in the Possible’ proposition to inspire and engage the next generation of supporters.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer includes:

• Lead the development and execution of the Individual Giving acquisition strategy, leveraging on key appeals like Christian Aid Week and Christmas to recruit and engage new supporters.

Justice & Care is seeking an experienced, relationship-led and entrepreneurial Head of Philanthropy to lead the growth of transformational major donor income that will help end modern slavery and support survivors to rebuild their lives.

Justice & Care is a pioneering anti-slavery organisation working globally to disrupt and dismantle criminal networks while walking alongside survivors on their journey to freedom and recovery. Philanthropic partnerships are central to this mission, enabling us to support frontline interventions, drive systemic change and equip governments and partners to act effectively.

Leading the philanthropy function, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-value, growth-focused major donor strategy, building and proactively expanding a pipeline of five and six-figure gifts, and growing long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and networks aligned to our mission. The post-holder will foster relationships built on trust and openness, collaborating both across and outside the organisation to drive meaningful impact in fundraising and campaigning activities.

Some of the main areas of responsibilities of the Church Engagement & Fundraising Officer include:

• Develop and manage Christian Aid’s relationships with a defined group of key churches and Christian Aid groups through face-to-face and online engagement.
• Maximise the involvement of churches and groups as agents of change in alignment with Christian Aid’s values and goals.
• Proactively identify and engage churches that have not previously supported Christian Aid, building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective churches to Give, Act, and Pray.

About the role

This role is designed for an experienced Grants Specialist with a proven track record of securing multi-year funding across a range of funding streams.

The Grants Specialist role is responsible for researching, securing and managing multi-year funding from Trusts, Foundations and Statutory sources. You will manage a portfolio of existing funders, nurture strong relationships and deliver compelling, high-quality proposals and budgets.

Working closely with Finance Team, Programme Funding Team, as well as the Development, Operations, Policy and Impact Teams, you’ll contribute to secure long-term and sustainable funding to support Justice and Care’s work globally

This role requires regular presence in London.

What we’re looking for:

• Exceptional writing, communication, and negotiation skills with a proven track record in writing successful grant applications and securing funding
• Ability to build and manage strong grants and donor relationships.
• Competence in preparing accurate, sustainable budgets.
• Knowledge of fundraising CRMs; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Understanding of modern slavery issues is desirable.
• Creative, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

About the role

Orbis UK is offering the role of Senior Finance Officer, as the organisation seeks to grow and build on past successes to reach its target of achieving £10m income in the next 5 years.

This role is vital in order to support a highly performing group of staff as we seek to transform lives through the prevention and treatment of blindness. This role will sit within the Finance Team, which is responsible for the day-to-day finance operations of the organisation supporting both the Finance Manager and the Director of Finance and Operations in processing payments, payroll, journals, bank reconciliations and other key financial tasks needed for the successful running of a small international charity.

This is an ideal role for someone who has an appetite for growth in their skills and knowledge and who has an aptitude for process and structure, which is critical when helping to manage the resources of an organisation, ensuring financial discipline and effective controls are maintained throughout. This role would be perfect for any candidate looking to further their career in finance and accountancy and you will be supported by a team of experienced accountants to guide and train you as well as provide you with plenty of development and learning opportunities, especially in pursuit of an accountancy qualification.

Working within a team where new ideas are promoted and encouraged under an experienced Finance Manager, this role provides the perfect opportunity for the postholder to take ownership and make demonstrable change within a thriving international NGO.

We are looking for someone who has excellent, demonstrable financial acumen and experience, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, who can demonstrate an ability to learn with a thirst for new ideas. A high degree of IT proficiency is important as the organisation seeks to use technology, including Artificial Intelligence, to work more effectively for the achievement of growth in the organisation. Knowledge of the NGO sector is desirable, but we are open to applications from across disciplines and expertise if you can demonstrate your aptitude for the role with a hunger to learn. The main responsibilities of this role are:

• To provide effective financial support to the Finance team and the wider organisation to ensure the smooth running of the charity.
• To ensure business continuity is maintained through the management of the purchase ledger function, including BACS, online banking payments and the review of expenses and credit card payments, payroll, income and bank reconciliations and other key tasks needed to ensure financial reporting can be made on schedule and in line with statutory, audit and trustee deadlines.
• To be organised, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage a changing workload.
