We are launching a pioneering initiative across Berkshire and North Hampshire to identify, prevent, and reduce the devastating impacts of gambling harms.

The Events Co-ordinator has a pivotal role in coordinating and executing various events and initiatives to support the Charity’s objectives. This position demands meticulous planning, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage event logistics effectively.They will work as part of the Events Logistics Team, supporting the senior members of the team, and work with and manage a number of both internal and external stakeholders. 

The Events Co-ordinator will work closely with the Head of Events and colleagues across the team to support the delivery of both the Events Logistics and wider Fundraising Team strategic plan, including:

• Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, ensuring their roles and responsibilities are clear and well-coordinated during events. 

• Event Evaluation: Supports, facilitates and monitors progress of each event and initiates and supports performance improvement.Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event, collect feedback, and implement improvements for future initiatives.

As Research Development and Engagement Manager, you will lead engagement with researchers, our patient community, and external partners to develop and support new research collaborations. • Partner with grant holders to develop case studies, quotes, and materials that reflect their voice and perspective

About the role

As a CYP Team Leader you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed and child-centred services. This includes supporting staff to manage complex cases, maintain high safeguarding standards, and ensuring that service delivery meets contractual requirements and organisational expectations. The role combines people management, operational leadership and partnership working, with a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to CYP staff, including regular supervision, case discussions and performance management.
• Oversee the delivery of safe, effective and trauma-informed support for children and young people affected by crime, ensuring their voices remain central to all interventions.
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are upheld at all times, including effective risk management, oversight of complex cases and adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
• Support staff wellbeing, resilience and professional development, contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
• Monitor service quality and performance, contributing to reporting, audits and quality assurance processes as required.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, including schools, statutory services and voluntary sector organisations, to strengthen referral pathways and joined-up working.
• Contribute to service development, innovation and continuous improvement, helping to shape and respond to emerging needs across South Wales.

About You

You will be an experienced and confident leader with a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people affected by crime. You will bring a compassionate, inclusive and reflective leadership style, alongside the ability to manage competing demands in a busy operational environment

You will have:

• Experience of working with children and young people in a safeguarding or support context, ideally within criminal justice, victim support or related services.
• Proven experience of supervising or managing staff, with the ability to motivate, support and develop others.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding frameworks, trauma-informed practice and child-centred approaches.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, partners and stakeholders.
• A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to contribute to service development and quality improvement.
• A clear commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring services are accessible and responsive to the needs of all children and young people

This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. We have an exciting opportunity for 2 x Children & Young People Caseworkers to join the team in South Wales, one position is for 30 hours per week and the other for 22.5 hours per week, actual hours can be discussed at interview. This role is offered as hybrid working from home and at least one day per week from our office in Llanrumney, Cardiff. Regular travel will also be required throughout the area.

About the role

As a CYP Caseworker you will:

• Deliver excellent services to Children and Young People who have been victims of crime through the direct provision of information, practical and emotional help from the point of crime and where appropriate, onwards throughout the criminal justice process.
• Help Children & Young People cope and recover from the effects of crime.
• Act as a single point of contact, undertaking effective need and risk assessments.
• Coordinate the overall delivery of the cope and recovery plan and recovery journey, working closely with other service providers to meet the needs of victims.

You will need:

• Previous experience delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.
• Previous experience of working with vulnerable CYP.
• To be able to work without direct supervision, prioritising work and managing competing demands.
• The ability to complete needs and risk assessments.
• To demonstrate empathy.
• Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and Safeguarding principles.
