Historically, the organisation has delivered a grant giving programme but has evolved over the past ten years to provide a holistic service to clients that includes financial grants, advocacy, psychotherapy, volunteering opportunities and social events. 

Most of our clients have support need over and above financial assistance.  Many are socially excluded from society and face a combination of linked problems such as unemployment, discrimination, poor skills, low incomes, poor housing, living in areas of high crime, bad health and family breakdown. These problems are linked and mutually reinforcing so that they can create a vicious cycle in people’s lives.

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Assisting the wider team to deliver marketing strategies and plans for IOP priority projects.
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation.
• Acting as a brand ambassador and ensure that all materials are designed in accordance with the IOP’s brand guidelines and visual identity.
• Supporting the delivery and maintenance of high quality, effective offline and online marketing communications materials that meet set objectives and targets, adhere to brand guidelines and deliver consistent messages.
• Applying creative thinking to support the wider team and assist with developing new promotional opportunities.
• Working closely with the wider Marketing team and internal and external stakeholders.
• Assisting with the evaluation of the effectiveness of campaigns, using insight and monitoring tools. Utilise these learnings to optimise future campaigns.
• Copywriting, editing and proofing a range of online and offline marketing communications materials.

Who will I work with?

How will I be working?

The purpose of the role is to support the Bishops of Manchester, Peterborough, and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich in their duties as Members of the House of Lords. The work includes research and information gathering, drafting speeches and questions, managing meetings, appointments and other events on behalf of the Bishops and such other work as they and the Head of Parliamentary Affairs may require from time to time.
The Parliamentary and Policy Researcher's priorities and tasks will be determined by the Bishops, with whom the postholder will be expected to have frequent direct contact along with their key advisers. In conjunction with their offices, the Head of Parliamentary Affairs will manage, guide and oversee the parliamentary work of the postholder.
The postholder's working time will be divided equally between the three Bishops. Flexibility in the working pattern will be required, depending on the respective requirements of each, their commitments in the House of Lords, including duty weeks.
The work of the Bishops in the House of Lords is guided by their policy and local interests, as well as their status as religious leaders with a national profile.
Policy interests:
- The Bishop of Manchester is the Convener of the Lords Spiritual. In this role, he chairs meetings of the Lords Spiritual, liaises with bodies within the House of Lords and the House of Commons, and works closely with the Parliamentary Unit at Church House. His areas of interest include housing and homelessness, crime and policing, international trade, and regional issues impacting Manchester and the North-west.
- Bishop of Peterborough's areas of interest include Children and Young People, Education, and Health and Social Care.
- Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich was the lead Bishop for Safeguarding in the National Church before translating to the diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, and remains deputy Safeguarding Lead. She also has an interest in media and justice issues.

As such the post may be well suited to someone who has particular experience of or interest in these areas of policy.
From time to time the postholder may also be called upon to add capacity to the Parliamentary Team by providing resource to other Lords Spiritual on policy areas they have become familiar with in their work for the Bishops of Manchester, Peterborough, and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich.
The postholder will need to have access to the Parliamentary Estate, so will be required to apply for a security pass sponsored by one of the employing Bishops, and will be expected to abide by the rules and codes set by Parliament that accompany the issuing of a pass. The postholder will also have access to the facilities offered to Lambeth Palace and other NCI staff, observing the responsibilities and protocols which apply to all.
The balance between parliamentary tasks and those that relate to the Bishops' diocesan roles is likely to vary depending on the parliamentary cycle.
The Parliamentary and Policy Researcher will be based with the Parliamentary Team. This is located at Lambeth Palace, London, SE1 7JU (within the Church of England's wider Faith and Public Life Team), and at Church House, Westminster, SW1P 3AZ. Some flexibility, including home working, is possible, though there is an expectation that the postholder be available to attend Westminster.

As Foodbank Services Lead, you’ll play a key part in ensuring Oldham Foodbank runs smoothly and consistently, supporting people in crisis with dignity and care.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role, working alongside the Foodbank Manager to coordinate day-to-day service delivery. You’ll support and organise our volunteers, oversee the smooth running of our warehouse and deliveries, and help ensure our systems, standards and processes are followed well.

You’ll be based mainly at our warehouse, working closely with volunteer teams including drivers, pickers, admin and warehouse volunteers. While you won’t be doing everything yourself, you’ll be ready to step in when needed and lead by example.

The Junction is an out of hours service, open 365 evenings a year 4pm-11pm, to support and assist individuals experiencing a mental health concern. The aim is to alleviate the need for people in the Swindon locality to access A&E acute mental health services and primary care GP services unnecessarily by managing the presenting symptoms/mental health crisis along with the triggers and context for that crisis.

Working pattern includes every other weekend and working hours are 16:00-23:00.

About Working Well Trust 

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. 

We are now recruiting an IPS Employment Advisor to join our Connect to Work service across Enfield. This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week, following the principles of the IPS model to support people into paid employment. 

What you’ll be doing 

If you were working with us, your days would be varied and people-centred. You would manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs, people experiencing homelessness, and people with offending histories, offering one-to-one support to help them secure and sustain employment that matches their preferences. 

You would provide person-centred guidance using the IPS approach (training is provided), helping clients build confidence, prepare for work, and navigate challenges that may arise. A key part of the role involves engaging employers, promoting the value of our service, and identifying suitable job opportunities.

You would work closely with NHS clinical teams, contributing to an integrated approach to recovery through employment. This includes attending team meetings, coordinating support, and maintaining clear, client-led communication. The role also involves working to agreed targets while maintaining a high-quality, supportive service.

You do not need previous employment support experience. What matters most is that you bring: 

• A genuine desire to support people with mental health support needs and/or learning disabilities to achieve their employment goals.

About the role:

The Social Media and Digital PR Manager will develop, oversee and help execute the social medial and digital content strategies, while also being hands-on responsible for the charity’s online public relations.

This role is subject to a DBS check.

We are seeking a proactive, highly organised Campaigns Officer to join the Communications Directorate at the Royal College of Radiologists, playing a key role in delivering impactful, insight-led marketing campaigns that engage members and stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of multi-channel marketing campaigns from brief to evaluation, helping to shape how we promote our membership, workforce and brand priorities. Working closely with Brand, Content and Membership teams, you’ll deliver compelling messaging, coordinate activity across channels and use data to continually improve performance. What you’ll do

• Plan, coordinate and deliver targeted, insight-led marketing campaigns from brief through to evaluation.
• Develop clear campaign plans including objectives, audiences, messaging, channels, timelines and KPIs.
• Commission high-quality campaign assets and write engaging, on-brand copy across email, social and digital platforms.
• Manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously, keeping activity on track and stakeholders informed.
• Monitor performance using analytics tools, reporting on results and using insight to optimise future activity.
• Collaborate with Brand, Content and Membership teams to ensure joined-up, consistent communications.
• Identify opportunities to improve targeting, testing and campaign effectiveness through continuous learning and optimisation.

What you’ll need

• Experience independently delivering multi-channel marketing or campaign activity from planning to evaluation.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Confident copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms.
• Experience using analytics and performance tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads or similar) to track and improve results.
• A data-informed mindset, with experience using testing and insight to refine campaigns.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
• Proactivity, sound judgement and the confidence to take ownership of your work.
